Chapter 38 Human or Accident?

"You scared him." Sheng Anran frowned and reminded.

Yu Jingxi obviously retracted her feet and leaned against Sheng Anran.

When Yun Nancheng saw Yu Jingxi's bloodless little face, he was looking at him with a resentful look on his face, and he felt a little regretful. He sighed silently in his heart and asked tentatively.

"You're you blaming me for not taking good care of you?"

Yu Jingxi ignored him, turned his head and leaned against Sheng Anran's arms, holding Sheng Anran's clothes tightly with his left hand.

Seeing that Yu Nancheng seemed a little disappointed, Sheng Anran sighed silently in his heart and comforted him with a tough bullet.

"Maybe I was scared last night, just let him calm for a while."

You are so kind to your own son, no wonder he doesn’t kiss you anymore? Isn’t this a normal thing?

The atmosphere was a little stagnant. Sheng Xiaoxing's eyes rolled, pulled Yu Nancheng's sleeve, and said coquettishly,

"Yu Shushu, I can't get through this level, please help me."

Yu Nancheng's frowning brows stretched a little, diverted his attention, and turned his head and said,

“Which level?”

"This devil can't be beaten to death here."

“…”

The atmosphere was eased, Sheng Anran touched the furry head of the little guy in his arms and whispered, "Jing Xi, are you blamed for your daddy for falling down the stairs?"

The little guy in his arms shook his head, raised his face to look at Sheng Anran, with endless grievances in his eyes.

"Why is that?"

Sheng Anran was a little confused.

Yu Jingxi's dislocated hand was not very able to move. He barely gestured twice, but still couldn't lift it up. He was so anxious that tears were circling in his eyes.

"You want to write, don't you?"

Sheng Anran hurriedly asked.

Yu Jingxi nodded repeatedly.

"Don't be anxious." Sheng Anran took out the paper and pen from his bag and handed it to Yu Jingxi. He held the pen in his left hand, and wrote a skewer, but he could barely see a sentence.

"I don't like my daddy getting married to another woman."

When he saw this sentence, Sheng Anran subconsciously glanced at Yu Nancheng who was playing games with Sheng Xiaoxing on the sofa in the distance, and frowned.

It is inevitable that children will have some resistance to their parents' remarriage. If you are as keen as Yu Nancheng, you probably won't consider Yu Jingxi's ideas. This child is another person who can't speak.

I thought about it and felt a little uncomfortable, but because of the hindrance of my own outsider, I couldn't say much, so I had to lower my voice to comfort Yu Jingxi, "Your father loves you very much. Even if you marry another woman, he will be nice to you."

Yu Jingxi shook his head slowly, looking very sad.

"What's wrong?" Sheng Anran held his shoulder, "Don't you like Aunt Gao?"

Yu Jingxi hesitated a little, as if he had made up some decision. He nodded and then quickly wrote a sentence on his notebook.

"You are my mommy."

Seeing this sentence, Sheng Anran was a little amused and crying.

She really didn't know how to explain to a child that the matter of getting married is not that simple, it is not that anyone you like can dominate the child.

Yun Nancheng seemed to have helped Sheng Xiaoxing play a game, and got up and asked, "What has Jingxi written?"

Sheng Anran hurriedly tore off the page of the notebook and folded it quickly into his bag, looking guilty,

"It's nothing, I just tell me what I want to eat at night. I'll write it down and go back to make it for him."

Seeing her panic, Yu Nancheng looked at her suspiciously, and was about to ask further, she had already stood up and said in a hurry,

"Well, I have a plan to go back and do it, so I'll leave first. I may come later in the evening. If you are hungry, just eat something to keep your stomach."

After saying this, she ran away.

The ward door was quickly closed, and Yu Nancheng and two little guys were left in the ward.

Sheng Xiaoxing hurried on the sofa and was busy playing games, not even caring about her mother leaving, Yu Jingxi looked at the door with a gaze, as if she was looking forward to Sheng Anran coming back.

Seeing Yu Jingxi like this, Yu Nancheng felt a little guilty again.

I couldn't help but reflect on what Sheng Anran said before. How dereliction of duty and how bad I did, that Jing Xi was so dependent on an aunt he had known for a short time, but instead disliked him, his biological father a lot?

"Jingxi." He called him softly, patiently.

Seeing that Sheng Anran would not come back, Yu Jingxi held Sheng Anran and wrote and painted on the notebook left by him, and ignored Yu Nancheng.

Seeing this, Yu Nancheng pondered for a moment, and from the corner of his eyes caught a glimpse of Sheng Xiaoxing in the corner of the sofa. He remembered that Yu Jingxi had always asked him to invite Sheng Anran and his daughter to visit his home before, so he tried to please,

"Jingxi, let's do it. When you are discharged from the hospital, we will hold a small party at home and let Aunt Sheng and Xiao Xingxing go together, okay?"

Sure enough, Yu Jingxi immediately raised his head, his eyes full of joy.

"Then, don't you ignore dad?" Yu Nancheng touched his head.

Yu Jingxi wrote something in his notepad and handed it to him.

"Dad, you have to say sorry to me."

Yu Nancheng was stunned for a moment, reflecting that he had drunk too much, and even Yu Jingxi fell down the stairs not far from his door. He was really careless, and it was indeed his fault.

"Okay, Dad apologizes to you. I'm sorry, Jingxi, this will never happen again."

What the little guy was thinking about was the matter of him bringing Gao Yawen home.

Although he thought differently, Yu Nancheng apologized. He also thought that what Yu Nancheng promised was to never take Sheng Anran home again, and his face gradually improved.

The child was very forgot about his nature, so he soon played with Xiao Xingxing again. Although he didn't play games, he looked happy as Sheng Xiaoxing looked at the game with his teeth and claws.

On the other hand, the old man woke up early in the morning. Lao Zhou, the butler of the old house, had just returned from the Imperial Garden Villa and took him back to check the situation all night.

"Have you found out clearly? Is it artificial or accidental when Jing Xi fell from the second floor this time?"

"It should be an accident." Old Zhou looked serious, "I asked all the servants. The maid who specialized in taking care of the young master's sleeping went to make milk powder that night. There was indeed no one in the corridor on the second floor."

"There is no one?"

The old man couldn't help but doubt.

There were about ten servants in the Imperial Garden. When Jing Xi had an accident, there was no one around him. The child was so moved that he had rolled down from the second floor. It was only after he fell to the first floor that someone noticed it after a while.

"That day, Miss Gao was here too, brought gifts, and the servants went to share the things."

"Gao Yawen?" The old man frowned, his face a little heavy, and he asked, "Where was she when Jingxi was in trouble?"
