Chapter 198 Open a series of video pits!

When the cleaning work of the back chamber and the east and west side chambers gradually came to an end, the archaeological excavation work of this tomb of the Nanyue King was basically coming to an end.

Overall, this tomb is one of the largest tombs in the Lingnan region and is of great historical significance.

The Nanyue Kingdom, which was only mentioned in history books, but no actual noble tombs were unearthed, has finally become a truly undeniable historical fact.

Although, before the discovery of the tomb of the King of Nanyue, the academic community did not deny the idea of the Nanyue Kingdom, and even the Vietnamese had always wanted to make Zhao Tuo their ancestor.

However, with the evidence of unearthed artifacts, it is undoubtedly more in line with the two-fold evidence of Chinese archeology, that is, the rigor of mutual verification of historical books and unearthed cultural artifacts.

From October to almost December, I was busy.

The cleaning work of the Nanyue King's Tomb has officially come to an end.

The entire tomb was cleaned and unearthed more than 1,000 cultural relics!

The more than 1,000 items here refer to unique items!

Arrowheads, daggers, halberds, and swords that are made according to the standard are not included in the double calculation.

Because there are so many of these weapons, there are thousands of arrow clusters alone, and together with other weapons, there are almost 1,500.

In addition to these weapons, the remaining cultural relics include jade wares, stone wares, bronze wares, pottery, ivory wares, gold and silver wares of different carving styles, totaling more than a thousand pieces.

Selecting one or two hundred of the most exquisite cultural relics, together with the tomb owner's silk jade clothes and Emperor Wen's seal, is enough to support a local museum.

The Guangzhou government also immediately launched the project of the Nanyue Culture Base. It is expected that it will take three years to build a huge cultural base around this tomb.

Taking the core Nanyue Museum as its main focus, the entire Xianggang area will be covered!

The Nanyue Museum will be built directly above the tomb, and the tomb will be used as an exhibition area on the ground floor.

This tomb of the Nanyue Kingdom is really suitable for exhibition.

Because the entire tomb is made of stones, a complete tomb chamber can still be preserved after all the cultural relics are cleaned.

This tomb alone, which is over 100 square meters, is enough for tourists to visit and see the tomb system of the South Vietnamese monarch two thousand years ago!

This should be put to good use!

But all this has nothing to do with Chen Han and the others.

After completing the excavation work, they can return to the capital for the time being.

However, the completion of the on-site excavation work does not mean that the work related to this tomb of the South Vietnam Kingdom is also over.

In fact, after they return to the Academy of Social Sciences, they still need to write a report.

This tomb has a total of seven tomb chambers, and more than a thousand cultural relics were unearthed. The excavation report alone may take several months to write.

In addition, according to the requirements, these cultural relics must be hand-drawn one by one and submitted to the excavation report together.

Just painting all these cultural relics is probably a huge project.

Therefore, although the excavation work is over, it will probably be a year before the excavation report is released and published.

Relatively speaking, papers are easier to write.

The three papers written by Chen Han on the previous project, the Zeng Guo Advanced Tomb Group Project, were all included after submission.

Two articles were included in "Hanjiang Archeology", and the most important one, "The vassal states dug out from the ground: A study of Zeng Guo's lineage", was directly published in the journal "Archaeology".

The journal "Archaeology" is the top and most important academic journal on archeology in China.

If this paper can be published in "Archaeology", it is basically certain that there will be no problem with Chen Han's PhD graduation.

Now we have to look at Kong Jianwen and decide when he will graduate.

But according to Kong Jianwen, he plans to suppress Chen Han for another year.

This year it will be his second year of PhD, and next year it will be his third year.

Kong Jianwen plans to graduate him with a doctoral degree next year, and then the Academy of Social Sciences will expand its staff next year, and then let Chen Han join the Academy of Social Sciences.

Zhuang Yunpeng was actually given a one-year extension by Kong Jianwen for this reason.

...

After finishing the excavation work of the Nanyue Kingdom Tomb and returning to the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Social Sciences, the first thing Chen Han wanted to do was not to make drawings of the unearthed cultural relics with Zhuang Yunpeng and Lin Ya.

Instead, work with Wei Sisi to deal with the accumulation of his self-media accounts.

During the three months he participated in archaeological excavations in Guangzhou, Chen Han really had no extra experience to continue operating self-media accounts.

Wei Sisi is responsible for all work in this area.

Usually every night, Wei Sisi sends questions from netizens he has selected, as well as popular archaeological videos on Douyin that he has collected, to Chen Han.

Then Chen Han took the time to answer some of the questions, recorded some audio of Douyin archaeological videos to refute the rumors, and then sent them to Wei Sisi.

She then paired the audio with images, edited it into a video, and posted it on the Internet.

And use Chen Han’s account to reply to some private messages and Aite.

However, this alone is not enough.

Chen Han's appearance has always been an important part of the account "Teacher Chen who loves archeology".

It's been a long time since he appeared on camera to record a video, so he must do some filming.

After Chen Han completed the excavation work of the Nanyue National Tomb this time, Wei Sisi immediately approached him and planned to make several archaeological popular science videos for him showing his face.

To maintain the popularity of self-media, Chen Han has to sacrifice his appearance regularly to prevent the public from forgetting him.

The work of self-media to popularize archaeological science is obviously a very important task for the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Social Sciences.

Therefore, Chen Han can also temporarily get rid of the boring, troublesome and boring work of drawing cultural relics.

This actually made him quite happy.

I made archaeological popular science videos and copied and drew pictures of cultural relics excavated from the Nanyue Kingdom Tomb in the office.

He definitely chose the former.

So, under Wei Sisi's arrangement.

Teacher Chen, who had disappeared from netizens for three or four months, reappeared again.

A series of popular science videos related to Zeng Guo's archeology, such as "Popular Science on Zeng Guo's Archeology", "Fifty Years of Zeng Guo's Archeology", "The Mystery of Zeng Sui that Troubles the Archaeological World", are constantly emerging on Chen Han's self-media account.

The archeology of Zeng State is a very interesting topic.

As the only vassal state in China that relied solely on archaeology to sort out and master the lineage inheritance of the entire country, Zeng Guo's position in Chinese archeology is unique.

Even among the seven heroes of the Warring States Period, Qin, Chu, Qi, Yan, Zhao, Wei, and Han, in the archaeological world, no relatively clear king's lineage has been unearthed from a large tomb.

In most of the vassal states of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, only sporadic tombs of their monarchs have been discovered.

Only in the state of Zeng, from the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, when Marquis Zeng admonished him, to the middle period of the Warring States period, when Marquis Zeng was about to be destroyed, it spanned the four eras of the early Western Zhou Dynasty, the Zhoujiajia, the Spring and Autumn Period, and the Warring States Period.

All the king's tombs have been discovered!

This is a great achievement of Chinese archeology!

But there are too many things that can be discussed in detail.

Enough for Chen Han to start a series of video pits!
