Three hundred and fifty-five chapters special trident jade
This jade crown is yellow-white, with a small amount of yellow or gray-brown hair-shaped crystals.
The overall shape is flat and inverted trapezoidal, with a straight top and a subtracted middle to form an introductory shape, a flat and convex middle and convex bottom sides have an un-drilled blind hole at the opposite positions.
The entire object is 4.1 in height, 7.4 in width at the upper end, 6.2 in width at the lower end, 5.4 in width, and 0.35 cm in thickness.
The reason why it is called "jade crown-shaped instrument" is because this instrument looks very much like a crown that ancient people often use to tie their hair!
And the size is very similar!
Moreover, on this jade crown shaped vessel, the lower corners of both sides are beveled and flat tenons, and there are two small pairs of drilling holes on it.
These two pairs of drilling holes seem to be used to fix them.
Perhaps, five thousand years ago, the owner of Tomb No. 1 was buried with a jade crown on his head!
In addition, there is also a "set" composed of jade trine-shaped instrument and jade tube, which is also very special.
Because similar artifacts have been unearthed in Liangzhu before.
And it is also considered a kind of "crown"!
In 1987, at an archaeological site in Yaoshan, Xiaxiwan Village, Anxi Township, Yuhang County, experts verified that this cemetery was a sacrificial place in the middle and late Liangzhu civilization in the new era.
It is also the famous Liangzhu Yaoshan ruins.
Yaoshan has three levels of altars on the inner and outer layers, including more than 20 tombs, all concentrated in the southern half of the altar. These tombs are further divided into male tombs in the south and female tombs in the north.
As mentioned before, the tombs on Yaoshan are now speculated to be a group of nobles in the early Liangzhu Ancient City and the founders of the Liangzhu Ancient City.
In male tombs, special burial objects such as jade axes, trident-shaped jade artifacts, and conical jade artifacts were found in female tombs.
Among the tombs numbered m10, a total of 559 jade pieces were excavated, which was the largest tomb and should be the tomb area of senior clergy at that time.
Yes, Liangzhu is also a country with a strong theocracy culture.
This is normal. In that ignorant era five thousand years ago, any tribe or country must have admired theological culture of gods and ancestors worshipped by them.
The jade trident-shaped instrument comes from the tomb of this senior clergyman.
The three-fork-shaped jade is white, with reddish-brown spots, shaped like the character "shan", with an arc at the bottom, and a flush three vertical forks sawed out from the upper part. There are small holes that penetrate up and down on the middle fork, which can be used for the system.
It is generally speculated that trident-shaped jade artifacts are used in conjunction with jade pipes or jade cones unearthed at the same time.
The front of the trident-shaped jade wareer is withered with animal face, the eyes, nose and mouth float outline, and then the yin lines are engraved with heavy circles of eyes, nostrils and fangs.
Each of the three-junctions is engraved with feather-shaped patterns, symbolizing the divine crown. When the three-junction-shaped objects are unearthed, they are placed on the head of the deceased, which seems to be a kind of crown ornament.
Moreover, only trident-shaped jade and conical jade were unearthed from male tombs.
It can be judged that the trident-shaped jade artifact should be the exclusive identity identifier of the high-ranking noble men at that time.
In other words, in the ancient Liangzhu Kingdom, senior male nobles all needed to wear this unique "jade crown".
This is a kind of crown ornament that symbolizes power similar to the later generations of crowns!
In fact, the bottom horizontal line in the ancient Chinese characters is often deformed into an arc shape in bronze inscriptions.
The same is true for the character "Huang". There are various characters on bronze inscriptions, three, four, and multiple vertical lines on the top of the character "Huang".
Moreover, the original meaning of "huang" is the meaning of crown.
The vertical line above the bronze inscription is actually a crown ornament with colorful feathers embedded in it, and the lower part is the crown frame.
Ancient documents have recorded that in ancient times, the leader of the Youyu tribe held a grand ceremony wearing a crown of colorful feathers.
Later, this crown made of exquisite jade components and colorful feathers was called "Emperor", which means magnificent.
Coincidentally, if the jade pipe or jade cone unearthed with the trident-shaped jadeware is inserted into the trident-shaped jadeware, it will be a vertical crown ornament!
Therefore, this trichoked jade artifact may be a special ritual instrument that can only be used by the ruling class of the Liangzhu ancient country, or even the "king" or "high priests"!
The man buried in Tomb No. 1, Jiangjiashan, may be a "king" from a certain period in the Liangzhu ancient country, or a high priest who was in charge of the sacrifice!
