Chapter 688 Beidou Navigation

Originally, even if this territory was a dispute, it was a territorial dispute between China and countries in the South China Sea, such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Nanhua, Malaysia, Brunei and other countries. However, with the improvement of science and technology, many oil and natural gas resources have been discovered everywhere in the South China Sea.

Everyone knows the preciousness of oil and gas resources, and everyone wants to occupy a large amount of oil and gas resources. Other countries in the South China Sea cannot compete with China, a big country, with their own strength. Therefore, they all turned their attention to the world police, the United States, hoping that the world police would support them. In order to achieve its hegemony and curb China's rise, the United States was naturally ecstatic about the olive branches sent by the countries in the South China Sea, and happily accepted them, becoming the eldest brother to protect them.

So we saw small countries like the Philippines and Vietnam who dared to unscrupulously stroke China's tiger beards and constantly launch provocations in the South China Sea.

Of course, in this series of events, the new South China Republic has not expressed his voice, which is mainly related to his current awkward position. In fact, many countries in the world, including the United States, have not recognized South China as an independent country. For example, in most countries in Europe and the United States, the South China Republic is called the Ambona region or the Nantuna region.

Under Jiang Feng's instructions, Lingxi 3 did not take many radical measures, such as joining the United Nations, but was developing in a row.

In fact, with its outstanding geographical advantages, after three years of hard work by 10 million Chinese and overseas Chinese in South China, South China has developed into a cargo transfer center in Southeast Asia and even the whole world, playing an indispensable role in the world economy. Secretly, the military factory established by South China has produced weapons that are ahead of the current world's technological level. I believe that with the launch of Nanhua's ultimate killer, the super aircraft carrier, the Americans, they will be surprised to find how terrible this little guy who has been silent since its establishment.

The topic is a bit far from it, so I get back to the point.

Another reason for such complex disputes in the South China Sea is that the law of the sea has long been unclear in the definition of demarcation. Therefore, on this basis, some countries have given opportunities to take advantage of.

The international situation is already complicated, and many of the news you see are not as simple as it seems. For example, the South China Sea issue is very complicated. What's more, the United States' involvement in it makes the situation in the South China Sea much more complicated. China is now in a period of rapid economic development. When using the words of great men, many times, it is just to develop the economy and put other issues on hold for the time being. But you will put them aside, but others will not.

Your economy is developing so fast and others can't learn it. So, now seeing so many resources in the South China Sea, they are jealous of a country. Look. Arab countries have no resources in their own country, and they only have oil. With this little, their per capita income level has always been at the forefront of the world. On the other hand, countries in the South China Sea have to have no economy, no resources, and are all inexperienced countries. Now they have seized a life-saving resource. How can they let it go? Some countries even join forces with the United States and openly sell their rights and interests. Just shout directly: America, if you help us fight for the South China Sea, we are willing to share the interests of the South China Sea with you, such as jointly developing oil fields.

These are all very clear things. Although it makes people angry, the reality is that the strong prey on the weak. Whoever has a big fist can make the rules of the game. For example, when the United States attacks Iraq, it has not been authorized by the United Nations. Then, this war is an illegal invasion war. However, the Americans are just hooligans, struggling with a group of brothers to beat Iraq hard, and even send Sha Damu to the gallows. What can you do?

In this joint military exercise, the military originally wanted to prove its strength to the Americans, but unexpectedly they were slapped in the face. In the subsequent analysis, everyone found that it was not that their things were bad, but that they were completely restricted by the Americans on one thing. This thing is the US global positioning system, which is what we usually call gps.

GPS is the abbreviation of English (Global Positioning System). GPS started as a project by the US side in 1958 and was put into use in 1964. In the 1970s, the US Army, Navy and Air Force jointly developed a new generation of satellite positioning system GPS. The main purpose is to provide real-time, all-weather and global navigation services for the three major fields of land, sea and air, and to use some military purposes such as intelligence collection, nuclear explosion monitoring and emergency communication. After more than 20 years of research and experiments, it cost US$30 billion. By 1994, the 24 GPS satellite constellations with a global coverage rate of up to 98% had been deployed.

By November 2006, the GPS system had been improved, achieving global all-weather positioning, and the accuracy was very high. Application practice has proved that the relative positioning accuracy of GPS can reach 10-6m within 50km, 100-500km can reach 10-7m, and 1000km can reach 10-9m. In the precision positioning of 300-1500m engineering, the plane position error is less than 1mm when observed for more than 1 hour. Compared with the side length measured by the me-5000 electromagnetic wave rangefinder, the worst side length is, and the error in the calibration is.

Although China has developed a Peking University navigation system for the US GPS system, compared with the adult GPS, Peking University Navigation is now just a newborn baby. Because we have only launched three test satellites, the official Beidou navigation system networking satellite has not been launched yet. Such a test satellite positioning system cannot even complete the most basic positioning function. In this missile contest, the Americans are equivalent to the kind of telescope observing, while we are basically equivalent to blind people.

Since the failure of this military exercise, the military has accelerated the construction of the Beidou navigation system, hoping to catch up.

On the other hand, many of the global positioning services used by Jiang's consortium before this were purchased by the US global positioning system, which is very dangerous to Jiang Feng.

Although the services of the global positioning system are indeed good, which can be seen from their market performance. With the end of the Cold War and the booming global economy, the US government announced that from 2000 to 2006, the SA policy will be abolished while ensuring that the US national security is not threatened. The accuracy of GPS civilian signaling will be improved worldwide. The accuracy of using C/A code for single-point positioning will be increased from 100 meters to 10 meters. This will further promote the application of GPS technology, improve productivity, operating efficiency, scientific level and people's quality of life, and stimulate the growth of the GPS market. According to relevant experts, in the United States, the market for automotive GPS navigation systems alone will reach US$3 billion after 2000, and in China, the market for automotive navigation will also reach RMB 5 billion.

In Jiang Feng's view, using American GPS is equivalent to putting his eyes on the Americans, which is not a good thing. Therefore, Jiang Feng feels that it is necessary to build his own global positioning system, especially with the global sales of Jiang's smartphones and the development of Jiang's other series of other businesses, this need is becoming increasingly urgent.

Finally, the Jiang Consortium proposed a plan to build its own satellite positioning system at the end of March this year. However, the military, which was having a headache about the development of Peking University's navigation system, had other ideas.

Because of the superiority of military products produced by Jiangfeng's Jiangzhou Heavy Industry Group in all aspects, the military believes that cooperation with Jiangfeng is a very good idea.

The main reason why Jiang Feng found Jiang Feng to cooperate was in addition to his technical trust in Jiang Feng, which was due to his lack of funds.

Building this kind of global positioning navigation system is an extremely expensive act. Just like the United States built its GPS system, the various funds consumed are tens of billions of dollars, which is tens of billions of dollars in RMB. Although the Chinese government has increased military expenditures in the past two years, for example, the nearly bottomless pit-like satellite positioning system, the military can use too little money. If the military is just doing this, in less than thirty or fifty years, it would be better to think about it.

In fact, this is true. In Jiang Feng's memory, it was not until he was reborn that China launched thirteen satellites of the Beidou navigation system, and its coverage was only in the Asia-Pacific region.

At 4:50 am on April 30, 2012, China used the "Long March 3B" launch vehicle to successfully send China's twelfth and thirteenth Beidou navigation system networking satellite into space. This is the first time that China's Beidou satellite navigation system has launched a navigation satellite using the "one arrow two satellites" method, and it is also the first time that China has launched two Earth's medium and high-orbit satellites using the "one arrow two satellites" method. This is the 160th space flight of China's "Long March" series launch vehicle.

This is Jiang Feng’s last memory of the Beidou navigation system, because a few days after that, he encountered an avalanche during a field investigation in Kunlun Mountain and was reborn back to 2001. As for the development of the Peking University navigation system later, Jiang Feng is unknown.

However, Jiang Feng could also imagine that this development would definitely not be too fast.

In fact, the same is true. Until 2013, Beidou navigation coverage was still only in the Asia-Pacific region.
