Chapter 232 The dragon on the clothes

One horse and two men were lying on the muddy street, with more and more people surrounding him, and they were talking a lot. The lantern man shouted: "Release the horse away and see if there is any rescue!"

Han Ruzi was shocked, jumped off the horse and ran over, kneeled on the ground with one leg to check. Du Chuanyun and King Ying looked pale, life and death were unknown, and the horse moved slightly, but it was not dead yet.

Everyone stepped forward to lift the horse, and Han Ruzi stood up and was about to help, but someone pulled him out.

Tokai Neptune whispered: "This is not what you should do."

"Is this still important now?" Han Ruzi couldn't bear the anger.

"Find out the murderer is more important than saving people." King Tokai said, waved to several other followers and ordered them to come forward to participate in the rescue.

Han Ruzi calmed down all of a sudden. This was obviously an assassination. It would be fine if the King of England could not ride a horse. However, Du Chuanyun had been walking in the world since childhood and had been shaking on the horse's back all year round, so he would never miss his horse.

The assassin is likely to be still nearby, and his targets are not just the King of England and Du Chuanyun.

Han Ruzi looked around and suddenly saw a man running away on a horse, "Yuan Zifan! He is going to run!"

"Chasing!" Donghai King turned over and over the horse.

Han Ruzi also got on the horse and looked back. The horse had been lifted a little. Zhang Youcai was desperately dragging Du Chuanyun out. King Ying's entourage was also trying his best to save the Lord. He was not needed here.

The King of East China Sea had already chased for a while. Han Ruzi was about to ride a horse when her heart suddenly moved, turned her head and shouted loudly: "Zhang Youcai! Let's go chase the assassin, you stay here!"

"Yes, master" Zhang Youcai was in a panic. When he heard the voice of Juehou, he responded casually.

Han Ruzi went to chase King Donghai and Yuan Zifan, but his mind was turning rapidly. This was certainly an assassination. The targets were probably the King of England, but he and King Donghai would be in trouble because of this.

A group of people came towards him, blocking the way, and Han Ruzi had to tie the reins.

The champion Hou walked away from the Prime Minister's Mansion for a while and happened to meet Juenhou. He said in surprise: "Where is Juenhou going? King Donghai just ran over."

"Where is Yuan Zifan Lu Congxin? Why didn't he follow you?"

Han Ruzi spoke in an impatient tone, and the champion Hou showed displeasure and replied coldly: "Didn't Jue Hou take Yang Feng with me, why should I let Lu Congxin follow me at all times?"

"The deer ran away in the heart." Han Ruzi said affirmatively.

"What did you say?"

"The British King was assassinated in front of him, and it must be the one who looks at the qi. Yuan Zifan ran away, and other people look at the qi will not stay." Han Ruzi said.

"Impossible!" The champion Hou was shocked and immediately signaled to the people around him, and a entourage riding a horse went forward to check the situation.

The figures of King Donghai and Yuan Zifan have disappeared, and Han Ruzi has nowhere to chase after him, so he has to turn his horse's head around and finally said to the champion Hou: "Send someone to find Lu Congxin."

Han Ruzi ran back on a horse and recalled the scene when Yuan Zifan questioned him about the East Sea not long ago, and vaguely felt that the reason why this famous person escaped was just because of fear.

The horse's corpse has been moved away, Du Chuanyun and Yingwang were carried to the nearest store, and Zhang Youcai's hands were stained with blood and he was inexplicably circling in front of the store.

Han Ruzi jumped off the horse, and other followers ran over to protect him and squeezed through the crowd watching. Han Ruzi grabbed Zhang Youcai's arm and said sternly: "Go and find Du Motian!"

Zhang Youcai finally woke up and found the horse next to him. The first time he didn't jump up, the servant who led the horse helped him, so he got on the horse safely and immediately went back home to find someone.

Han Ruzi asked another entourage to find Yang Feng. Although Du Motian and Yang Feng were probably both in the mansion, Zhang Youcai can only do one thing at the moment.

There were many people in the shop, but suddenly they ran out, as if they had seen a ghost. Someone whispered: "It's a prince, there is a dragon on his clothes."

At first, everyone was busy saving people and did not pay attention to their clothes. Now they found out that the abnormality was obvious. They were all shocked. After hearing the reminder, many people noticed that there was another person around them, with several dragons embroidered on their clothes.

The crowd retreated like a tide, leaving only Han Ruzi and a follower to stay where they were.

Han Ruzi couldn't help but think that the King of Donghai was right, the princes should have ceremonial guards, and he needed them very much now.

Han Ruzi walked into the store. It was a cloth shop. The shopkeeper was standing with a lantern and was standing beside the two men, trembling. They were just kind enough to save people. They never expected that one of them was a descendant of the royal family. In their impression, even some unknown little officials were surrounded by, and they did not ride alone on the street.

Du Chuanyun and King Ying were placed flat on the ground, covered in blood.

Han Ruzi didn't understand medical skills and couldn't save anyone, so she forced herself to look away and asked the shopkeeper who was carrying the lantern: "Did you see it all?"

The shopkeeper was so scared that he was in a state of terror. Han Ruzi asked again, and the shopkeeper raised his head in a daze.

"Who did you see that it was taking action?"

Du Chuanyun and Yingwang fell to their right hand. The cloth shop was closest to each other and the shopkeeper was the first to come with a lantern. Han Ruzi guessed that he must have seen something.

The shopkeeper knelt down, put down the lantern, and cried and said, "Give me your life, sir." He also saw the embroidered dragon on the visitor's clothes.

Han Ruzi warned himself that he must remain calm. He walked to the shopkeeper, bent down and picked up the lantern, illuminated the shopkeeper's face, and said, "Don't be afraid, I'm not here to catch you, I'm just asking about the situation."

The shopkeeper raised his head, squinted his eyes at the visitor, and thought for a while, "There are a few teenagers at the door."

A group of people broke in outside the door, and someone shouted, "What's going on? Who's dead?"

A group of policemen came. When they saw the costumes of King Ying and Juehou, they were all shocked. Only then did they believe that the rumors outside the door were true. They were as stupid as a chicken, dared not move or speak.

A follower from Juanhou’s mansion came in and whispered to Juanhou: “Champion Hou is outside, please go out.”

Han Ruzi said to several policemen: "Stay here and don't move anything."

The police nodded immediately.

Han Ruzi said to the shopkeeper kneeling on the ground: "Think about it carefully, I'll come to you later." He handed the lantern to the entourage and walked out of the store.

The crowd outside retreated further, but they were reluctant to leave, and were still watching, talking and guessing in a low voice.

Champion Hou stood across the street surrounded by a group of people. Han Ruzi strode over and took a look when passing by the horse's corpse. Suddenly, most of the ground was probably flowing out of this horse.

"What the hell is going on?" Champion Hou asked in a low voice.

"There is an assassin." Han Ruzi also replied in a low voice.

Champion Hou frowned, "What do you think of assassinating King Ying at this time?"

Han Ruzi said coldly: "The King of England is not my opponent, and assassination of him will not do me any benefit."

"It's not good for me, either." Champion Hou said immediately, then frowned even more, "The Queen Mother got it to make up for it. Who would attack him? Where did King Donghai run just now?"

"I said he went to chase Yuan Zifan"

"No." Champion Hou said firmly, "Didn't you find out? The death of the King of England has an adverse effect on you and me. On the contrary, the King of East China Sea will not be suspicious and can reap the benefits of the fisherman."

The speculation of champion Hou is not without reason. He and Juenhou have the upper hand in the competition for the throne, while Donghai King has completely become Juenhou's assistant. Once the situation changes drastically, he can stay out of the matter.

Han Ruzi had never had full trust in Donghai King, but she didn't want to show it in front of the champion Hou, so she said coldly: "How do you know that King Ying must be dead?"

"Did you say I, King Ying, aren't dead?" The Champion Hou's eyes were a little panicked.

"I don't know." Han Ruzi didn't check it carefully.

Another group of soldiers came on horseback, with more people driving away the onlookers, but only a few people walked into the cloth shop and quickly drove out the first-arrival soldiers. Not long after, the leaders of the soldiers left the shop and walked to Juenhou and Champion Hou.

Han Ruzi recognized this person, which was one of the "Guanghua Tigers". Lian Danchen, a judicial officer under Jingzhao Yin, bowed to the two marquis and said, "It is not advisable to stay here. Please return home quickly when you are a clerk."

"How are they?" Han Ruzi asked.

Lian Danchen did not answer.

Champion Hou didn't want to stay here anymore, so he recognized Lian Danchen and said, "It's good that Lian joins the army. King Ying is still alive without him?"

Lian Danchen nodded and did not explain much.

Champion Hou breathed a sigh of relief, "Bless our ancestors, don't make any trouble."

The champion Hou got on the horse, but Juehou remained in place and he didn't move.

Han Ruzi couldn't just leave like this, but fortunately the person he was waiting for arrived soon.

Yang Feng and Du Duotian arrived together. Du Duotian wanted to go into the store to visit his grandson, but was stopped by the police. Han Ruzi explained, Lian Danchen ordered the person to make way out.

Yang Feng did not enter the store, so he came directly to Juehou, bowed to the champion Hou first, and then said to Juehou: "Go back to home."

"Du Chuanyun"

"Jianhou can't help even if he stays here."

Han Ruzi nodded and said to Lian Danchen: "The shopkeeper may have seen the assassin."

Lian Danchen said, "Don't worry, I will find out the truth."

The followers brought the horses, Han Ruzi got on the horse, and returned home with Yang Feng. They had a relationship with the champion Hou Zeng, and when they parted ways, no one said goodbye.

The Juanhou’s mansion was very quiet. Everyone knew something was wrong outside, so they went back to their room to rest early.

Zhang Youcai was sitting in the study, still trembling.

Han Ruzi asked him to rest, lit a candle by himself, sat behind the desk. It was only after a while that he came to his senses and said to Yang Feng: "When King Ying came, he sat there."

Yang Feng looked down at the chair he was sitting on and said calmly: "Tell me what to do."

Han Ruzi started from the visit of King Ying and did not miss any details as much as possible. Finally, he said: "Lian Danchen said that King Ying and Du Chuanyun were not dead."

Yang Feng didn't care much about the life and death of the two of them. He thought for a while and said, "Jianghou, rest, I'll go find out the news. I'll see you tomorrow morning."

"No, I will stay in the study and tell me any news, especially their life and death."

Yang Feng nodded, got up and walked to the door, and stopped at the trail: "Since Juehou doesn't want to rest, then think about it, who will benefit the most when the King of England was assassinated?"

Han Ruzi felt an uncontrollable anger. Life was at stake. Yang Feng even assigned him questions, but he nodded. The anger came fiercely and went quickly.

Yang Feng said again: "Don't be desperate and come back."

"Is that true?" Han Ruzi responded casually.

"Meng E has already left Hangu Pass and is likely to have returned to the capital."

Yang Feng left, Han Ruzi was stunned. Meng E returned to Beijing, why didn’t she come to see her?

King Donghai ran away, Meng E came back, Han Ruzi felt a chill on her body, "Who will benefit? Who will benefit?" He asked himself over and over again, and suddenly understood who the biggest beneficiary was. To be continued
