4 twins

After dinner, Arthur planned to take Eth out for a break.

First, we can inquire about the news, and second, we can avoid bumping into the black bear maid who came to clean up the dishes later. Arthur remembered clearly what she said before leaving. When he thought that she would come later, Arthur could not stay in the room anymore.

After he left the room, he found that there seemed to be a lot of people outside. He could hear the noise coming from the deck far away, which was very lively.

The sound insulation effect of this broken room is pretty good. As he thought so, he raised his foot toward the deck.

When passing by a closed door, Arthur stopped thinking about it, thought about it, and still reached out to knock on the door.

He had discovered before that on the first floor of the deck, only the doors of the rooms that had been checked in were closed, and the rest of the empty rooms were covered in vain. So if nothing unexpected happens, this room should belong to one of the two people who were rated as excellent in qualifications other than him.

"Dongdongdongdongdong."

After three sounds, Arthur put down his hand and stood quietly outside the door and waited.

After a while, the wooden door creaked and opened from the inside.

A dark brown haired, slightly stronger boy appeared behind the door.

The boy was about eight or nine years old and didn't look outstanding, but he had thick eyebrows and big eyes, his facial features were pretty straightforward, he dressed very simply, and even a little torn. He had several patches of different colors on his clothes, and his cheeks were dirty.

He should be from a slum, because no matter how good a child from an ordinary family is, he will not be so embarrassed.

At this time, he was staring at the beautiful and exquisite young man in front of him with a vigilant gaze. He looked like a noble young man in front of him.

Arthur didn't care about his slightly hostile gaze. He found that there was a person inside through the crack of the door that was not completely blocked by the boy's body.

"What are you looking at?"

The boy noticed Arthur's gaze, moved two steps to the side, blocking the crack in the door, and asked in a bad tone.

Seeing this, Arthur naturally withdrew his gaze and smiled apologetically: "Sorry."

Seeing Arthur's attitude was so kind, the boy became a little awkward, his expression was not very natural, and he seemed to be unable to deal with the kindness expressed by others.

"Don't you invite me in?"

Arthur asked, his attitude was intimate and natural, as if the person standing opposite him was not a stranger he had just met for the first time, but a friend who had been dating for many years and had a deep relationship. What he was doing now was just a polite visit between friends who were very ordinary.

Under Arthur's deep eyes, the boy nodded subconsciously:

"Of course, please come in."

After his consciousness returned, he realized what he had done. However, it was too late. He had already given up the passage sideways and allowed Arthur to enter the room.

The boy looked at Arthur's back and stammered his lips for a few times, but he finally said nothing. Now that people have entered, he can't drive them out anymore.

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but feel a little upset. After closing the door, he looked back at Arthur. His expression, which had already been somewhat relaxed, became unkind again.

"Who are you? What's the matter with us?"

Arthur subconsciously asked, "You?"

"Aren't you here to find us? Then what are you here?"

Arthur's words seemed to poke a hornet's nest. The boy was like a hedgehog at this time, erecting sharp thorns all over his body, becoming alert like never before.

"Don't be nervous, I have no malicious intentions."

Arthur comforted him, but it didn't work much, but instead made the boy more alert and hesitant.

Helplessly, he had to express his intention:

"I'll introduce myself. My name is Arthur. I just got on the boat last night and didn't know a lot of things, so I wanted to ask someone. I saw that there were people in this room, so I knocked on the door. It was really presumptuous. I don't know that there are people inside, so I didn't disturb you, right?"

"No...no interruption, we didn't do anything, right? Brother."

A timid and young girl sounded, and the voice was very small and almost unaudible.

The owner of the female voice is a thin and small girl. She is not well dressed, but she is very clean and tidy.

At this time, she raised her little face as big as a palm, and plucked up the courage to answer Arthur's question. As she said, she reached out and pulled the brown-haired boy's sleeve, telling him not to be impulsive.

"Brother?" Arthur suddenly realized.

"We are twin siblings," the boy explained.

Knowing Arthur's purpose and with his sister's comfort, the boy's expression improved a lot. Although he had not completely relaxed his vigilance towards Arthur, he was no longer as repulsive as before.

"twin?"

Arthur was really surprised this time. Although the boy and the girl both had similar dark brown hair, there was no similarity apart from that, and the age didn't look very suitable. The girl looked only six years old at most, and the boy had to be at least eight or nine years old.

"We don't look very similar, but we are indeed twins. Lily looks a little bit more like mom, and I look like dad."

...

In this way, the three of them started chatting and the atmosphere gradually became calmer.

Under Arthur's deliberate guidance, the brother and sister unconsciously revealed all the information they knew, and even Arthur could understand his origins clearly.

Both brothers and sisters are eight years old, brother John and sister Lily from a small city called Dulin.

The brother and sister were no longer there and depended on each other to make a living in Dulin City, but they were all too young and had extremely limited sources of life. They almost starved to death several times.

Fortunately, Chris wizard found them and said they had excellent wizard talent, and asked them if they would like to go to a faraway place to study wizards with him.

Although wizards have always been synonymous with evil in the mouths of bards, they are desperate and have almost lost their lives, so they agree without much hesitation.

Because they followed Chris Wizard very early, they knew a lot of news that others didn't know.

For example, the place they are going to - Ghost Maze Wizard Academy, is a very powerful organization of black wizards.

The reason why their brother and sister were so valued by Chris Wizard and came to recruit them personally was because they had innate talents.

According to wizard Chris, not everyone has the qualifications of a wizard. Only those born with strong souls and mental power can become wizards. In other words, people with mental power must have the qualifications of a wizard, but not everyone has the mental power.

Of course, the higher the innate mental power, the better, but it also has its limits, and can only reach 20 points. Only those with innate mental power exceeding 15 can innate talent appear.

John and Lily have both mental powers of 18 points, so they both have innate talents. Innate talents can be directly used without wizard learning, and the consumption is very small.

John's innate talent is a burst flame, which can release flames with explosive properties, and has amazing destructive power; Lily's innate talent is the protection of water, which can form a water-attribute shield for defense.
