Chapter 25 Salon (1)

When Dark was carried to the infirmary for treatment, Dark's sister Riley was attending a small salon in a coffee shop at Doland Royal College several streets away.

The person who hosted the salon was Riley's teacher, West, a veteran of the alchemy department of the college. This 72-year-old grand alchemist has reached level seven and can wear a purple robe. He is the treasure of the alchemy major in the college. He does not hold a teaching position normally and only reveals it on very important occasions such as the opening ceremony. If a lecture is held that day, it will definitely be empty.

However, today, the great alchemist sat in the lower head, and the third chair, with one old and one young sitting on the main seat. The old man was about the same age as West, with white hair and beard. He looked sixty or seventy years old, and he looked different from West. The old man was unkempt and disheveled, and his clothes were neat. Unfortunately, he was not matched with the upper and lower sides. He had a blue robe on the top and a pair of red bloomers on the bottom, and a pair of pointed colorful mage shoes. At first glance, he thought it was a clown who came out somewhere.

The young man around him was in his early twenties, wearing a straight black tight narrow-sleeved hunting suit, all over his body, and even his hair and eyes were dyed black. This was the first time Riley had seen a guy so paranoid about black.

The old man is Nicholas, a legendary alchemist known as the 9-headed snake. The young man is his son George. Nicholas is an old friend of Teacher West. He usually lives in simplicity. This time he was invited by his teacher to guide the alchemy experiment. According to his requirements, the academy can choose four students to assist, which is a god-given opportunity.

The college was so puzzled by the quota of four people that it finally decided to consider the balance between origin and ability, so it decided to decide the final list, they were:

A third-year student, a family of theology, and his father is Christian, the vice president of the student union who presided over the Snell Church.

Second-year student, son of the Director of the Taxation Division of the Port Snell, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Student Union.

Fourth grader Richard McNong, second son of Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.

A third-grade student, a female academic master named Riley from a civilian background.

The four of them participated in some experiments as assistants. After three days of observation and practice, they benefited a lot. They praised the exquisite skills of the two alchemy masters. The last day was a discussion.

It is a rare learning opportunity to be able to get close to high-level alchemy masters, but surprisingly, Christian, as the vice president of the student union, asked for leave for something. Is there any other better candidate to fill the gap, and I have to waste a place in vain, so the seven people who originally participated in the symposium turned into six people.

Riley was of course convinced by her teacher and legendary alchemist Nicholas, but she didn't have much affection for Nicholas's son George. Because this guy was so arrogant, he had basically said nothing for three days and looked arrogant to everyone.

Originally, there was an adventure between her brother and him, and she wanted to say hello on her own initiative, but the other party was wearing a tough playing card face from beginning to end, looking like she was keeping people from thousands of miles away, and she was a little unhappy.

Generally speaking, the children of high-level alchemists have a deep family background and strong relationships, and they are somewhat domineering and arrogant. Until they meet someone who is more arrogant than him, but this George is too arrogant, right? Even the teacher greets him, he looks like he is ignored.

This is the case now. From the beginning of entering the door, I stared at my coffee cup in a daze, without saying a word, and a flower grew out of it?

If you are too arrogant, aren’t you just a second-generation ancestor who has reached level 8 by relying on your father’s reputation and relationships? What’s so awesome!

The two old alchemists didn't know Riley's complaints and had a great time talking, but they made the four students with respect and respect. These prides of heaven were usually above the top, and they always felt that although their knowledge was not the best, they were at least among the most common people. As a result, they realized that most of the things the two old men talked about couldn't understand!

I can hear every sentence clearly, and I understand the meaning of the words. When I connect them, I don’t understand them anymore! Tuckers and Richard McNong’s faces were a little uneasy, and his butts were twisting around on the chair.

Perhaps because he discovered the subtle emotions of the students, West said to Nicholas: "Brother, there is a lounge next to you. Let's go there to sit there. I have a few words to talk to you. What about asking young people to chat with you here? How about it?"

Nicholas slapped his hand and smiled, "Great, I just happened to want to talk to you about something, just do that. George, I'll go out with your Uncle West, and you communicate with these classmates, how about you?"

George nodded calmly, nodded at Westi, and continued to look at the cup of coffee. The two great alchemists went out, and he didn't even have to oweth his butt.

Riley gave him another uncultured label in her heart.

The three of them exchanged their eyes, all wanting to kill this guy's sharpness, Tux spoke first: "George...Mr., may I ask you--"

George didn't raise his head, and interrupted him with a wave of his hand: "Shut up, come and see."

A layer of frost suddenly appeared on Tux's face. Who doesn't know the son of the chief of the tax department? Who dares to shout and drink like this? He secretly decided to wait for this guy to look good when he goes out, but his curiosity also surged: What exactly is in this guy's cup?

The three of them leaned over together, just glanced at him, and exclaimed in surprise!

The calm coffee surface is a ring, and two coffee puppets the size of rice grains are fighting fiercely inside!

The one on the left is thicker, the one on the right is lighter, one on the thicker and one on the lighter, two villains are fighting in the middle, and they are hard to distinguish. A coffee ball is thrown here, a coffee shield is put on the other side, and then the coffee wave is hit back and forth.

Three sips of saliva and swallowing with difficulty rang out.

George smiled faintly, picked up the coffee, drank it all, the ring, the fighter, and all disappeared into his mouth. After finishing, he pointed his fingers at the seats of the three: "Sit."

After the three of them sat down, George said: "People are different. I think it's better to do some research if you have that time to welcome and send off."

The three of them looked at each other and Richard McNong said, "Can you take the liberty to ask, what kind of research are you doing now?"

"Slime."

Richard McNon and Tux seemed to have heard the funny thing, and wanted to laugh, but didn't dare.

Of course, George saw the two laughing, and he continued: "Rodriguez has done similar research and has not yet come to the stake."

Tux smiled and said, "How did you have the intention to study that alchemist?"

"It would be better to say that he is a heretic alchemist. He wants to find a shortcut, but he is not accepted by the church."

"You mean he was wronged by the church?"

After hearing Tux's words, Riley's heart skipped a beat: This guy is testing George's attitude!

George smiled faintly again and said, "When he was young, Rodriguez read a lot of books and knew twelve languages, including Southern Saquere, Far Eastern Vedic, etc. When he was thirty-four years old, he was appointed as the ambassador of Doland to the Vedic Empire, and he worked for fifteen years. After leaving office, he returned to Doland and translated many Vedic classics."

Richard McNong couldn't help asking, "These are all well-documented facts, but what does it have to do with Slime?"

"The Vedic people in the Far East have a mythological epic "Vedas", which talks about the creation of the world by the gods of heaven, which is very interesting. The gods divide the chaos god Borusa and created the sun, moon, stars and all things in the world."

Richard McNong and Tux shook their heads together. The Far East was too far away and had no connection with them. As for the unreliable myths and legends, they were not within the scope of investigation.

Riley yelled: “I know that story.”

George smiled: "I know such a lonely story, Miss Riley is so profound."

Riley was a little embarrassed: "I just read the content introduction..."

"There is a section inside that said that after the gods split the mosquitoes from Borusa, they became tired and stopped working. The sun, moon, stars, mosquitoes, snakes and insects, each according to their shapes and will not change anymore."

Riley had never heard of this section, she listened attentively.

"What makes God feel tired must be very cumbersome and difficult things. The sun, moon, stars are much more troublesome than mosquitoes, so I think there is only one thing that makes God excited to do and have to give up because of fatigue."

“What is it?”

"There is infinite division of Borusa until it cannot be divided again. In the end, what the gods obtain is the 'ether' - the original factor of all matter. The ether cannot be divided, so even the gods have to give up. So, which creature can maintain its original characteristics after multiple divisions?"

The three of them looked at each other: "Slime?"

"Correct. We should not discriminate against Slime. I gave it another name: Borusa fragment. Or, it can be called the Ether Yuan fusion. Studying it is to study the source of all things and the path of development of all things."
