Volume 1 Strange Walk Chapter 26 The Bandit in the Night

It was getting late, and an oil lamp was lit in the inn.

Zhou Ziheng personally urged the inn owner to bury two bodies, and then returned to the inn.

There are only four rooms on the second floor of the inn. The two people who had been on the road for several days have not rested, but they did not care too much, so they found a room and went to bed early.

The fat inn owner saw that there was no other movement in the inn, so he dared to sneak up to the front of the inn, break into the direction of the counter in the dark, and find the money hidden in the dark.

"Everyone, don't cause trouble for me." The inn owner clasped his hands in front of his chest, muttering his mouth.

I don’t know if it was said to the two buried souls or the two evil gods on the upstairs.

I think it must be an unjust soul, because the inn owner immediately said: "You can at least be a companion underground."

Before the inn owner ran away, he still locked the inn's store door. If one day he couldn't make any money outside, he could still quietly touch it and continue to do this harmful money-making activity.

When the inn owner walked a few miles away, it was almost three o'clock.

A group of fire lights up in the distance, heading towards the inn. When I got closer, I saw it clearly. There were two riders at the beginning, and there were about twenty people behind me, each of whom was fierce and evil, holding various weapons.

The first person to stop the horse was a bald scar-faced man. The man was carrying a big knife on his shoulder. He raised the knife in his hand and scolded, "Damn it, what my brother said can make me a big profit. I have been doing all the way, but I didn't see anyone. Now I'm at this inn, I don't go out to greet me."

Behind Scarface was the waiter. He hurriedly ran to Scarface with a smile on his face: "Master Wu Er, don't be anxious. I think even if those people run away, there are still two living in the inn, so you can wait here for a while and I'll go and see what's going on."

Wu Daoba nodded, but also signaled another rider beside him to go together: "You go together."

"Okay." The man on Wu Daoba responded and got off the horse.

The waiter had no weapons. He looked at the locked inn and shop door, put one hand on his hips and shook his hands a few times: "Why are you still locked?"

The man in mai behind him had a beard and a mace in his hand. He didn't have the patience to wait, and he didn't even bother to say anything. He pushed the waiter away and smashed the door lock with a stick.

The waiter pushed the door and walked into the inn, lit the oil lamp, and looked around.

There was a little mess in the inn, there were some dry scabbed blood on the ground, and several tables were shaking.

The waiter showed a serious look on his face, and he hurriedly ran to the back of the counter, and was stunned, looking anxious: "I'm afraid I'm not a thief? The money I saved for marriage with my wife has been gone."

"Say, no!" The bearded slapped the waiter on the back of the head: "What's going on?"

"The money I saved is gone, I'm going to be a thief!" The waiter looked at the beard with a bitter look on his face.

"We are thieves!" The bearded kicked the waiter again: "What does the big man look like?"

"Boss?" The waiter shouted to the upstairs and shook his head quickly. Only then did he wake up. It must be that the boss took his money and ran away. Others don't know where his money is hidden.

The bearded man walked outside the inn with the waiter and threw him to the ground.

"What's going on inside?" Wu Daoba asked with a trembling flesh on his face.

Waiter

He shivered suddenly and knelt in front of Wu Daoba's horse: "Mr. Wu Er, I'm afraid there is no one in the inn, so the boss has also run away. The money I saved before has been taken away by the boss!"

"What?" Wu Daoba jumped off the horse, spat, and cursed viciously: "Damn it, this brother is so unauthentic. He called so many of us brothers, but he ate alone, which made the brothers run away in vain."

It seemed a little confused. Wu Daoba kicked Xiaoer and kicked him to the ground: "Damn killing things, don't let me see him, otherwise I will definitely chop it up and feed it to the dog."

The men behind him heard it clearly and thought in their hearts that this incident was a waste of time.

But at this moment, a slightly tired voice came from the upper floor: "What's the noise?"

"There is someone upstairs?" The bearded man turned around and looked upstairs. The remaining men also heard the movements upstairs, and then he became a little more energetic.

These people are not good at it. They are the biggest bandits on the way out of Jingzhao Prefecture, enter the Guannei Road, and lead to Longyou Road.

This official road is just one. If you walk the path, you don’t say that if you walk the path, you don’t pay for some money to buy money, and you still want to continue walking, you have to ask the guy in their hands whether they agree or not.

Over the years, there have been no army from the court, but their village is a great man, and he can take them to escape danger every time.

Wu Daoba is one of the second in charge of the village. Today he heard that a few people who looked like rich children came here, but he did not disturb the others in the village. He just brought his master No. 20 or 30 and sneaked out of the village quietly.

Everyone has explained the principle that people die for money and birds die for food, so the bandits who came out this time understand very well. Some of them make money are profitable, and they cannot share with the hundreds of people in the village on the mountain. If they don’t get any profit, they will lose money. Maybe they have to pay for their fate.

Several bandits had already held the weapons in their hands tightly and couldn't wait to rush upstairs. There are also some specialties for whom they go upstairs first. Those who rush to the front may die the fastest, but if they survive, they will get the most points.

They only knew a few young masters who came, and no one knew exactly who they were.

It’s also a big blame for the problem that the waiter described. Guo Xiaojiu and Zhou Ziheng were two rich young men who had just entered the world with swords and had no experience in the world. They would never have the life. Otherwise, if they would affect the forces behind these people, they would have to be uneasy for a long time, but there would be no rules to seize property.

Did these big men in the family really get down on their faces after hearing this? They didn't take the lives of these younger generations, so they just made a living and used their lives to make a living. What did those people use to reason with them?

Faced with these rich young men who wanted to make a fortune in the world, I have seen a lot of them in the village before, and I have suffered once or twice, but most of them are still making a lot of money. How can it not be envious?

"Damn it, go upstairs." Wu Daoba cursed, and waved his sword and stabbed it on the ground at his feet.

The bandits who had been prepared long ago squeezed into the inn, and the waiter was no exception, leaving only a beard and standing beside Wu Daoba.

They don’t have to take their lives to make a fortune, that’s what their subordinates want to do. Afterwards, they only get the best one, and only have one.

The fierce bandits quickly illuminated the second floor of the inn with torches. The oil lamps in the room were lit up, but the owner who had heard the sound from the building had never appeared.

There are only four inns upstairs

In just a while, all the bandits were searched.

The window of a guest room facing Wu Daoba was pushed open, and a bandit shouted at the bottom: "Second Master, there is no one upstairs, the bed is still a little warm, you must have just run away."

"Yes, yes, the two horses in the backyard are still there, so they can't run away." The waiter cleverly squeezed out of the crowd and shouted with his head.

After all, the money I saved before was gone, so I had to make some money back.

"Then keep searching!" Wu Daoba said, reaching out to touch the scar on his face, and then touching his bald head: "Why do I feel something is wrong with this?"

"I also think something is wrong. I saw traces of fighting in the room and some blood on the ground." The bearded man approached Wu Daoba and muttered in a low voice.

"Are you looking for me?" A big hand suddenly slapped Wu Daoba's shoulder. He was in pain and was pressed to the ground without even shouting a roar.

"Ah?" The bearded man turned his head and looked at Wu Daoba suspiciously. He had just said in surprise. Before he could take a closer look, a huge force came from his neck, and he collapsed on the ground and had already fainted.

I don’t know if the bearded screamed upstairs, and several bandits who were still guarding upstairs poked their heads and looked down.

"No, Second Master, it's Second Master!" Someone shouted, and the upstairs suddenly burst into trouble.

Many bandits gathered together, and the waiter looked at it in the gap and immediately pointed: "This one with the knife is one of them."

The bandits woke up and began to run downstairs.

"It's a bit interesting." Guo Xiaojiu reached out and patted the scabbard, grabbed Wu Daoba's bald head with his big hand. He had reached out to take out the sword and put it on Wu Daoba's heel. Wu Daoba immediately let out a howl like a pig.

Zhou Ziheng had quietly gone to the backyard to pick up the horses. As long as Guo Xiaojiu had solved the previous matter, they would rush to the night.

They also heard about the bandits on the way before they came. Killing these few is not a problem, but then it is better to poke a hornet's nest. It is better to hurry up and not to provoke these desperate bandits. Otherwise, they would have to deal with hundreds of bandits along the way.

Angry Angkor, who was pressed to the ground, had a ferocious look and stared at Guo Xiaojiu with a fierce look. He wanted to get up several times, but he was pressed back by the blade on his neck.

"If you have the ability to kill me, the boss of our village will not let you get out of this official road." Angross shouted loudly. The louder he shouted, the more scared he felt.

"Tsk, killing you is not a matter of a knife rising and falling. The problem is that I have no grudge against you, why do you want to kill you? I'm not you." Guo Xiaojiu patted Angroine's cheek with disdain.

Seeing that the bandits downstairs had already run out of the inn and gradually surrounded him, Angro's eyes blinked faster: "Go and go, go and invite the boss in the village, go and invite the boss."

"Yeah, if you can't beat me, I'll call someone?" Guo Xiaojiu narrowed his eyes, squatted down, but was cursing in his heart, Zhou Ziheng took a horse, why did he take it for so long?

He reached out and lifted Angro up, then cursed and said, "How long will it take for your men to invite the boss to come? The daylily is cold."

At this moment, Zhou Ziheng finally rode a white horse. Beside him was the dark horse, and there was no one on the horse's back. Guo Xiaojiu kicked Angro back hard, and his body began to retreat quickly, rushing towards the direction where the horse was running.
