1733 Shocking debut

Today's third update, please recommend and subscribe!

Dizzy, this should be the thoughts of all the audience after watching "blood is coming". After the last scene bloomed like fireworks, the extremely calm sentence "I'm done" and the exciting and cheerful violin music shocked the crowded cinema audience to the point where the stars flashed on their heads.

When the subtitles "Blood is coming" appear again on the big screen, all the audience stood up in an instant and gave their praise to the movie with the loudest applause. The thunderous applause comes from the heart and comes from the soul. This is not a film festival, nor is it a premiere, it is just a very ordinary preview; there is no interview with reporters, no spotlight attention, and no support from the main creators of the movie. The audience present is just ordinary people who really buy tickets to enter the cinema to watch the movie, but even so, they still stand and applaud spontaneously. It is not for show, not for inspiration, but for the purpose of releasing the inner sighs, praise, and stunning through applause, which is so simple.

Everyone stood up and applauded. Such scenes are common at film festivals or premieres. If it were in Toronto, even if it was not well-written, it would undoubtedly win such treatment. However, in the cinema of daily life, people left after watching the movies, and who would still stand up and applaud? People who don’t know how to make a show even mocked, but at this moment, when the subtitles such as “Director: Evan Bell” and “Producer: Evan Bell” on the big screen were sliding, the audience’s applause became more and more hot. The emotions that surged inside were like a steady stream of oil, rolling violently.

Whether in New York or Los Angeles, the only two theaters that have been released with "bloody color" are like this. After the movie, all the audience stood up and applauded. They used their actual actions to express their support for Evan Bell, thanking Evan Bell for giving such a wonderful work.

"Shocking!" This is the title of comment from the "New York Times". His opening line only wrote one sentence, "I have been looking forward to the work for half a year. Evan Bell did not disappoint the high expectations of all film critics and made a shocking appearance with a proud look!" Just this sentence shows that Neil Dasi's admiration for "blood is coming".

After the debut of "Old Nowhere to Belong", almost all film critics believed that this work will sweep the awards season. Even the "Atonement" that has been popular with countless hotly, it is still slightly inferior in the momentum of the king; while the "blood color" produced by Evan Bell is unanimously considered to be the most favorable competitor to challenge "Old Nowhere to Belong Nowhere to Belong".

Although Evan Bell has launched "Wild Survival" in September this year. However, in terms of the subject matter itself, "Wild Survival" has received many praises, but it is still too niche to be comparable to giant crocodiles of "old without any support". Film critics will naturally look forward to the "blood color coming" that can be called an epic work. Now that the movie is officially released, it is obvious that Evan Bell has not disappointed the hope that the film critics put on him.

"Beasts, perfectionists, liars, murderers, arrogant... Daniel Plainview, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, seems willing to provide everything people need in order to win a contract. But he is unwilling to reveal a little bit of a simple understanding of his seniority.

This is the greatest performance since Leonardo DiCaprio's debut. He always faces the camera coldly and mysteriously, with a low pronunciation and rapidity, without any trace of inner changes. It makes people wonder that his keenness, cunning and cruelty are completely a kind of nature. From the eyes to the expression, Leonardo DiCaprio presents it in an introverted way, and the trembling that penetrates the bone marrow makes people amazed!

This is also Evan Bell's pinnacle work again, even surpassing the shock in "perfume". He continued his usual style and outlined the role of Daniel Previ with an objective standpoint with some contradictory appreciation and criticism; and also condensed the development of the entire social and historical process into the two characters Daniel and Eli, and told them quietly. The shock was unscathed for a long time.

Evan Bell kicked off the long prelude of the movie in a nearly silent way. For a full fifteen minutes, we could not hear any clear lines, only the buzzing string sound like a moan and mumbled, accompanied by Daniel Previe, who climbed down the empty surface like a dirty little bug. Under the vast and desolate desert background in the camera, the insignificance of human beings was infinitely amplified, and the suppression that ruthlessly crushed the insignificant human beings in the powerful nature came to our face.

However, the more depressing and shocking scene appears in the last fifteen minutes of the movie. When all the depressed emotions erupt, madness finally defeats reason - this is not the result of a contradiction, but a natural evolution. Leonardo DiCaprio in the camera is like a black black swallowed by a devil, waving the blunt weapon in his hand one after another, smashing it at Elisandy, who represents faith and hypocrisy.

As an epic work that tells the legendary life of oil tycoons, "Blood is coming" may be dull for viewers who are used to Hollywood blockbusters. In most of the movie, the calmness and silence presented in the picture even make people unable to feel that something is happening. Then it is precisely this extremely calm scrutiny that gives it a unique atmosphere and depth. This seems to be a world away from "Perfume". Unlike "Perfume"'s bright and complex colors, "Blood is coming" does not have any obvious luxury symbols to show the jealousy and greed that humans may cause in the face of huge wealth. On the contrary, it is promoted in a religious sense, quietly outlining the picture that is so plain that it is almost black and white.

The background of the oil prosperity at the beginning of the last century, in the lens of Evan Bell, bright colors were stripped away, presenting a primitive chaos and desolation. This area with water shortage and no food was planted, and there was nothing but oil needed a historic opportunity to change its position in a rapidly developing civilized society. Therefore, Paul Sandy, as a messenger, found Daniel Previ with the "God's Will", and his expectations and ambitions were connected in an opportunity similar to the reclamation of the wasteland: Daniel's ruthless development and use of the land opened up a vast gap in the western United States. At the same time, people also saw the huge gap in human nature itself.

In the "Blood is Coming", there are three protagonists, Daniel Previe, Elisandy, and Evan Bell.

Daniel Previ is the most typical capitalist, repeating the primitive accumulation of predators. He cleverly convinced the locals to include in his ruling territory. He expanded his empire territorially and cruelly, and he eliminated all obstacles in order to achieve his goal. The workers' accidents cannot arouse his sympathy, and the adopted son's deaf ears cannot stop him. Even the obstacles representing religious beliefs cannot really slow down his progress. Perhaps, Daniel Previ is the most hateful, evil and darkest villain on the big screen in 2007.

But who has ever seen that he is lonely and longed for a companion to prevent him from falling further: Yes, he knew that he was falling, so he tried to grasp the pillars around him, first h.w.Plevi and then HenryPlevi. Unfortunately, both of them betrayed him, the former blamed him, and the latter was a fake. So he fell into darkness completely and was swallowed by the greed and desire in his heart.

Eli Sandy is actually Daniel Previe on the other hand. If Daniel Previe is a demon standing under the sun, then Eli Sandy is an evil invader wearing the cloak of light. The third revelation, the name itself implies its true nature. This is the third revelation echoing beyond the 'noise and restlessness of the Old Testament' and the 'the gospel of salvation in the New Testament'. It is the powerlessness and self-deception of human beings after realizing the greed nature of senior greed. Eli's constant demand for reputation, respect, and money, which is the direct manifestation of greed in nature. All these ambitions are hidden under the skin of the 'saint' he preached, quietly releasing the man-eating light, waiting for an opportunity to move.

It was not until he met Daniel that Eli Sandy's ambitions gradually expanded and eventually destroyed himself. Eli's final confrontation with Daniel was not only a confrontation between two people, nor was it just a confrontation between religion and capital during the expansion of rule, but also a confrontation between good and evil, greed and desire, and truth and hypocrisy in human nature. In the end, the truth still gained the upper hand, just like all the "truth".

On the surface, this is an absurd brown comedy with a demonic individual at its core, but Evan Bell gives this story a deeper meaning. Perhaps, this is a demon story. Perhaps this is a demon’s story. Perhaps this demon gave up the possibility of using immeasurable natural wealth to build a beautiful paradise on earth, gave up the dying struggle of putting pale and powerless faith to obtain redemption, and gave up—or was given up—the restraint of emotional bondage on the expansion of desire, but let the vague desire deep in his heart continue to expand, transcend the pure desire for money and power, and let a negative emotion called "ambition" swallow everything. But in fact, without those he hated, without those who confronted him, he could not complete this tragedy alone. Therefore, this may also be a fable belonging to a group or an era.

Evan Bell uses his dim and almost dark lens to tell a story of "a gathering wealth due to overwhelming hatred and eventually being swallowed by hatred." This may be an unintelligible point of view. But is there such a person in this world who has gone through his entire life to find that the most successful thing he has done is to turn himself into a person he hates. It takes time and patience to discover essential disillusionment in a long life, just as the title of the movie publicly stated, "blood is coming."

With a 'no', the film kicked off; finally, the film ended with 'I'm done'. In this 'finished', did anyone hear the disgust from Daniel - or Evan - of himself, and the other meaning is obviously the end, destruction.

Shocking the soul! Evan Bell once again completed this almost impossible task with his amazing talent!”

Neil Darcy praised the New York Times film reviews.
