For most people, the experience of death refers to entering a state of annihilation and disappearance at the end of the death process. The three stages of internal decomposition can be as fast as three blinks. The father's white bodhi (from sperm) and the mother's red bodhi (from egg) meet in the heart chakra, which is called "complete attainment". The earth's light appears obviously, but we do not authenticate it, so we enter the unconscious state of coma. This is the first time that it has not been authenticated, also known as the first stage of ignorance, which is the opposite state of original consciousness. The cycle of reincarnation is slightly interrupted at the moment of death, and at this time we begin another cycle. The bardo of the Dharma nature arises immediately, and it flies in a flash and is not authenticated. This is the failure of the second certification, and it is also the second stage of ignorance.

The first thing we realize at this time is that "just as heaven and earth are separated again", we suddenly enter the bardo body between death and another new life, which is called the bardo of birth, and is the third bardo of death.

In the stage of rebirth in the bardo, the mind is very clear and has infinite activity, but the direction it moves completely depends on the habits of past karma. At this time, in the process of its gradual manifestation, the mind has reached the next stage: from the purest state (the light of the earth), through its light and energy (the manifestation of the bardo of Dharma nature), entering the bardo stage of rebirth, and the mind displays a more specific form. What happens at this stage is exactly the opposite of the decomposition process: the wind appears again, and at the same time, the state of thought related to greed, anger, and ignorance comes with the wind. Then, because the memory of the karma body of the past is still as fresh as new in our hearts, the "mind body" will be formed (that is, some living people can see, so-called ghosts - ghosts have many kinds).

The mind-generating body that is born in the bardo has all perceptual effects, and its perceptual power is said to be seven times that of being alive. It has the most basic clear awareness, which is not awareness under the control of consciousness, but the mind-generating body can read other people's consciousness. Due to the influence of karma, the mind-generating body moves continuously, and as long as you have a thought, you can go to anywhere at will without any obstacles.

The mind-born body can see through the obstructions in the three-dimensional space. However, due to the lack of the physical body "Father White Bodhi" and "Mother Red Bodhi", there is no longer the light of the sun and the moon in front of us, and only a faint light illuminates the front. The mind-born body can see other bardo life, but cannot be seen by living lives (such as ordinary people), unless those who have the ability to have the ability to see the heavenly eyes due to their profound meditation skills, so we can have brief meetings and conversations with many travelers in the bardo world, those who die earlier than us.

In the first few weeks of the bardo body, there is also the impression that we are a man or a woman, just like in our previous lives. We do not know that we are dead, and we go home to meet our family and dear people. We try to speak to them and touch their shoulders, but they do not answer and they are completely unaware of our existence. Although we try our best to attract their attention. When they cry for our death or sit sadly, we can only watch without any effort. We try to use our belongings from our lives, but there is no seat at all. Our relatives and friends are dealing with our belongings.

If we are very attached to our flesh, we may even try to re-enter the flesh or linger around it, but in vain. In extreme cases, the mind will wander next to its objects or flesh for weeks or even years, and have not realized that we are dead. Only when we know that we have no figure, no reflection in the mirror, and no footprints on the ground, can we finally understand that we have passed away.

The entire period of birth to the bardo period is as long as forty-nine days, and the shortest is one week. But the situations vary, just like some people can live a hundred years old, some people die when they are young. Some people may even fall into it and become elves or ghosts, and cannot be reincarnated for many years.

Speaking of this, Ma Wei paused for a moment, turned around and asked Li Wei: "You know why this girl can't be born?"

"Did she think she was not dead?" Li Wei replied tentatively.

"You are really smart, but this is just one of the reasons. Another reason is that she always thought that the person who killed her was not dead, so she has been going to Zhururong's house to find him every day for thirty years." Ma Wei explained.

"Then why did she appear in our temple?" Li Wei asked.

"Don't forget that she died there, and the most common place for ghosts to visit is there." Ma Wei replied.
