Chapter 385: Beast Form

...

"Then I don't have to worry," Yan Xiaobao gushed as he lay on the ground, just replaced by those beasts in the form of wild animals. Seeing how some beasts rushed forward, the young man couldn't help but sigh. Did these beasts forget that they should be in groups of five? Should they fight together and protect each other's backs?

"Oh, huh?" After careful observation, Yan Xiaobao found that they had gathered again before hitting the great human. Suddenly, screams could be heard, followed by a clear smell of blood; on a quiet day, the sound of crushing bones was also loud.

Yan Xiaobao sighed deeply and looked at himself. His heart was beating and licking his lips. He felt that he could almost taste the blood in the air. The wolf in his heart was breaking free. At the last glance, he saw many beasts pounced on humans. Yan Xiaobao felt his muscles swelling and his body size increased. His hands turned to the huge claws with sharp claws, and his legs turned to the hind legs, and there was amazing power hidden inside.

Yan Xiaobao is no longer a human now; he is a completely wild beast, and as a wild beast, he feels his bloodthirst increase over time. His bloodthirst soars from the smell of blood that he smells around him.

A huge howl released, containing such a great amount of pressure, even the beasts around him must stay away from him.

"How bad," Yan Xiaobao murmured to himself as he looked at the battlefield in front of him. The beasts slammed into the huge human walls and began to rage. They used their claws, teeth and weapons to prove that they were stronger species. Human bodies were scattered on the ground, and the beasts slowly formed their five-man team, not allowing humans to use their large numbers of soldiers.

Yan Xiaobao was alone on the battlefield, and many human soldiers soon found that they could attack this lone beast that did not seem to cooperate with others. Just like in this situation, people could already see the corpses of several beasts on the ground; beasts that surrendered under the human masses.

Seeing Yan Xiaobao alone, a group of thirty human experts rushed towards him, with a false smile on his face. His sinister expression showed his sharp teeth, and before the group had any chance of reaction, Yan Xiaobao jumped up to them. His teeth were deeply trapped on the neck of the person closest to him, and then his head almost tore the entire head of the unfortunate man from one side to the other.

Shocked by this bloody and cruel execution, the others felt their hearts tremble. They were just masters and practitioner ranking experts after all. All of this was far below the rank of this huge red wolf standing in front of them.

Yan Xiaobao tasted blood in his mouth, closed his eyes for a moment, feeling that he was about to forget his humanity. The beasts on him were completely submerged in the act of killing, and as the shock waves were produced, his claws rippled in the air. The shock waves were so strong that when they reached the humans, three of them were immediately chopped down; when they collapsed to the ground, their blood mixed with the soil, their eyes were filled with stupid chaos.

Taking care of the rest of humans was something that Yan Xiaobaoxun did. He activated Lan Yun, and then he easily cut the rest into pieces with his strong claws. He dared not use his teeth anymore because he knew that the smell of blood would make him lose control of himself.

When he saw the sun falling, he was about to attack another group of people and quickly changed his shape to human form. His wings reappeared on his back, and then he flew into the sky, and then he shouted: "Retreat!"

The order was simple, but it made all the beasts take a few steps immediately. The expression on their faces was not obvious, but Yan Xiaobao was harsh and serious about his orders, causing all the beasts to follow his orders. After several hours of continuous battle, the battlefield finally became silent. It was filled with corpses of humans and beasts, and at least ten to twenty people were killed per beast.

"Those idiots," Yan Xiaobao said when he saw a large number of dead beasts, but he also knew that this was inevitable. After all, they were wild beasts, and following tactics and discipline was not something that wild beasts could do, so some people forgot that their previous training was something he knew would have.

As Yan Xiaobao called on everyone to retreat, they evacuated about a kilometer from the area where the battles were alive. As they did, Yan Xiaobao quickly found various pills and herbs he shared with the more injured beasts. Other wood element experts used their expertise to heal the more injured beasts. Soon their camp was filled with beasts moving from one side to the other, running around to make sure everyone had food and treatment.

There is a tent larger than the others, and in this tent there are forty-one experts standing by a table.

"So today we lost about two thousand beasts," said Yan Xiaobao sighing. He felt that although he expected casualties, he was not expecting so much so quickly. "Considering that we only have four hundred thousand and the real war is far from beginning, two thousand is a considerable scale." He continued to sigh. "I think it's hard to remember what they need to do, but tomorrow we'll remind them. Give them a temporary rest; they need it." He sighed and said before he turned to Wanqiao and Lord Pan.

"How many people are you trying to destroy their balls?" he asked curiously. He didn't see arrows in the sky during the battle, but he had to admit that he was actually more focused on killing the soldiers in front of him than looking at the paradise above.

"We got four of them," said Wan Qiao proudly, "although we had only four, they were only two left. But both of them were protected by the Saints, and we were not sure if we should fight the Saints, so we stayed," she said shruggingly. It was good for her to get four of the six balls, although Yan Xiaobao couldn't help but smile bitterly on his face.

"You are allowed to fight their saints," he said seriously as he looked at all the experts in the tent, "the sooner you fight them, the better. Work with them, do anything, just make sure there are not many saints after they are done. If they have too many saints during the siege, then we will be in a rather disadvantageous position." Yan Xiaobao talked about them, and they all understood that he was very serious about it.

"The war will continue tomorrow. Tomorrow we allow humanity to take the first step. If they come to us, then there will be no arrows in the city wall and no safe balls. Wanxun, Mr. Pan, must get rid of the last two crossbows as soon as possible."

Sighing Yan Xiaobao sat in the chair. He had a headache and his heart was full of chaos. Killing was no stranger to him, and although they were humans, he did not pity the people he had to kill. What he did feel uncomfortable was that he had almost lost himself like a wolf. How he enjoyed the metal smelling liquid that entered his mouth, and how he hoped to taste more. It was really confusing that he thought he was more human than the beast. If he hadn't merged with the monks and made him think more rationally about things to think about calmly, then he knew he would panic a long time ago.

Waving his hand, when he sat down, he fired the experts in the tent and wondered if he should create any traps to welcome humanity. Given the art of war and his personal experience in the war, he smiled on his face as he left the tent. He then summoned an army of ten thousand experts.

The first battalion was given a mission, watching them, they were energetic about the work they had obtained. Nevertheless, they had completed the mission and they soon began to act according to their orders.

The second group of soldiers obtained a large number of ten centimeter-thick wooden trunks and some blueprints, and their commander was responsible for supervising the items Yan Xiaobao wanted to build. Then the young man walked towards another group of experts.

The team of experts was not completely satisfied with their mission, but the commander understood the importance of the mission he was performing and ordered all soldiers to complain less and work harder.

That night should be completely calm no longer silent; on the contrary, the sound of hammering and excavation can be heard throughout the camp. The sun sets and the moon is in the sky, but even so, no one can avoid hearing the sound from the beast camp. The sound is so loud that even one kilometer away, humans realize that things are happening, but what they really know.

"Don't worry," said Big Marshall as he looked into the darkness in the direction of the Beast Army. "Although they were scheming, they were wild beasts. The common sense of beasts always lost their intuition, and as long as their intuition dominated, we would win. This is not to say that there is no hidden trick on our sleeves." He smiled at the many experts standing beside him, and each of them nodded in agreement. They had been preparing a long time ago, and they knew that their opponent was a beast. They took many imaginable defenses, which was logical. Even more than Yan Xiaobao knew.
