Chapter 4 Encountering the Buddha's Predestination and Replanting the Cause

The flowers bloom at both ends, each with one branch. Let’s talk about this old Taoist Wangchen.

Wangchen was sailing to the sky above Chengdu. His thoughts suddenly moved, and he felt a little, and then he smiled. He rode his horse and landed on the outskirts of the city. A breeze that was inaccurate surrounded his body. He saw that Wangchen's originally handsome face was covered, and he only became an ordinary scholar. Then he led the horse slowly approached the city.

Looking at the bustling crowds in the city, the shouts of each other were much better than in the previous wars. Wang Chen looked at all this with a smile and couldn't help but recall that during the war between the two dynasties, an elder of a Gongshu joined the Yuan army camp and used countless mechanical puppets to cooperate with the five great masters of Yuanmeng. They were the five great elders of the Zhengjue period. In the suburbs of Chengdu, with the benefit of the terrain, they set up the "Ten Victories Killing Return to the Demon" formation to block the Ming army from entering Sichuan.

The army suffered heavy losses and stopped for a while. At this time, Elder Wangchen, who had been in seclusion for many years, joined forces to invite the "Leihuang" sword, one of the treasures of Shushan. The elders joined forces to fight against the Fifth Division of Yuanmeng. Finally, the elders of Shushan Yan Yun, under the protection of others, used the Leihuang sword to kill a great elder of Yuanmeng in one fell swoop. After breaking the formation, the Ming army entered Sichuan.

Putting aside the past, Wangchen slowly walked to the suburbs and was still walking slowly. At this time, Wangchen seemed to have taken a small step, but the surrounding scenery changed greatly. It turned out that it was a technique of shrinking the ground into an inch. In a blink of an eye, he came to a county town near Chengdu.

This county may not be strange in the eyes of ordinary people, but it is very famous among the older generation in the cultivation world, because there is a temple in this county called Shuanglin Temple. There is a respected monk in the temple, with the name "Moya". It is said that he is a monk who has reached the stage of tribulation. He has lived in seclusion in the temple for many years and has only taken action once in his life. It can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. He has heard rumors that he participated in the Xuanwu Gate Incident. This is also the only time he has participated in the outside world news. He never interferes in the world.

Shuanglin Temple has a long history, and it is impossible to verify what era it was built. As for when this master Moya became a monk and practice, no one knows. Wang Chen only knows that since he entered the world of immortal cultivation, Moya has reached the verification period, which is equivalent to the fusion period of Taoist cultivators. As for what point he has reached now, Wang Chen can no longer guess.

This time I came here because I felt a sense when I flew to Chengdu at the beginning. Master Moya wanted to see him, so I came to pay homage to such a Taishan-level figure, Wang Chen was still very respectful.

When I arrived in front of Shuanglin Temple, I saw a young monk waiting outside the mountain gate. When I saw Wangchen coming, I stepped forward and bowed, and asked, "Senior, is Master Wangchen in Tianji Pavilion?"

“It’s right”

The little monk said, "Please follow me, senior."

Wangchen didn't say much, and followed the way to the back mountain. Speaking of which, Wangchen had been here before. When he was a little Taoist boy, the head of Tianji Pavilion, who was the master of Wangchen, brought him here once, but Wangchen was just a little Taoist boy back then, and was just waiting in the distance and never saw Master Moya himself.

Now that time has changed, it is my turn. Looking at the flowers, plants and trees on both sides of the road, it is still the same as before, and there is not much change. Wang Chen couldn't help but feel emotion.

When he arrived at the place where he was waiting, the young monk bowed with his hands: "Senior, I can only get here, please give in to yourself." After Wangchen agreed, the young monk left.

When I walked in, I turned a corner of the mountain and saw an old man sitting on the stone bench outside the bamboo house. He was the Master Moya whom I was going to meet.

Wang Chen got closer and closer, and suddenly he saw the whereabouts of lotus flowers in the sky, and the sound of the Sanskrit was chanting endlessly. The sandalwood was clearly heard. When he saw the old man sitting, he saw a big monk with a round face and long ears holding Buddhist beads and smiling. The sky was flying in the sky. Countless monks and nuns recited Buddhist scriptures in the air, all of which were the phantoms of the Western Paradise. For a moment, he heard the sound of the Sanskrit in the sky echoing. Wang Chen's heart was shocked, and he suddenly felt endless yearning. At the same time, he felt that the world was so big that he could not explore, and he was insignificant and ashamed.

The Buddha's name "Amitabha" sounded from afar and near, as if it came from the horizon, and it was transmitted to Wangchen's ears, but it was clearly heard, like a burst of enlightenment. Wangchen suddenly woke up and saw that there was no Western phantom around him. There was only an old man in white holding a rosary, sitting on a stone bench, looking at himself calmly, smiling peacefully.

Wangchen said ashamedly: "The younger generation of Tianji Pavilion, later generations, Wangchen, have met the master."

Suddenly, Wangchen thought of something, looked at the old man in disbelief and said, "Master Moya, you? Have you passed the heavenly tribulation?"

"Amitabha, thanks to the Western world, I am fortunate to have this fate and have already passed the Buddha's kalpa." Wangchen only saw clearly the appearance of Master Moya. He only saw an ordinary old man wearing white robes, spotless and ordinary appearance, but his expression was peaceful, his eyes were deep, and his voice was old, but he felt like a spring breeze.

Wang Chen responded in surprise: "Wang Chen congratulates Master on achieving enlightenment." The Tao mentioned here is not the way that Taoist monks refer to, but the way of heaven and earth, referring to the way of heaven. All practitioners, regardless of the different methods of practice, are not pursuing the way of heaven and understanding the supreme principles, so as to jump out of the three realms, not in the five elements, obtain the supreme Tao, experience the true meaning of life, travel between heaven and earth, and get rid of the samsara of life and death.

"Amitabha," Master Moya chanted the Buddha's name: "Although I have passed the Buddha's tribulation, I have to say that the word "attaining enlightenment" is far away. The heavenly secrets are vast and the heavenly way is unpredictable. It cannot be understood overnight. After passing the disaster, it is just a form. It does not mean that you have found the heavenly way. If you have not passed the disaster, you cannot say that you have not yet thought about the heavenly way. The number of kalpas is just a form. You don't have to be too attached, but you have become obsessed with it."

After listening to it, Wangchen gave a deep tribute and replied, "I have received the teachings."

Master Moya pointed a little and said, "Sit down, I haven't seen you for many years, please use tea."

Wangchen was slightly stunned. There was nothing on the stone table, so how could I say to drink tea? When I looked down, I had already held a cup of fragrant tea in my hand. I couldn't help but sigh at the great powers of this magical power, and then asked casually: "Senior, do you still remember me?"

Moya smiled and said, "How come you don't remember that when you came here, your master Taoist Guanxin brought you there, you were standing in the woods over there."

"Haha, what is said by senior?" Wang Chen then asked, "Senior, please call me here this time, what are you going to give me?"

"I'm here this time, I want to ask you for help."

"Senior just give your order."

"A few days ago, I felt something and accidentally calculated that a small demon tribulation would appear. Although it was a small demon tribulation, it had a great opportunity for you. Have you gone down the mountain for this matter?"

When Wangchen heard this, he almost fainted in anger. What does it mean to calculate it by accident? Then I spent so many treasures and almost lost everything. I set up the "Little Star Luo's Life-Survey" array to calculate the chance of this little demon hijacking. You, but I calculated it by accident, and it was really angering. But the senior asked, and he didn't dare not answer, so he had to say, "It was for this matter."

Moya saw Wang Chen's expression in his eyes, but was not anxious. He slowly said: "Mainland is something outside the body. What is important is this opportunity. If you care about the property, how can you seek to prove the great way? It is because you spent money and property that you got this opportunity. With this cause, you and I can meet today, which is the result. If you can't see the word "cause and effect", when will you achieve the supreme Tao?"

Wang Chen blushed in one sentence, but hit another word. Wang Chen was also an open-minded person, and he said thanked him for his mistake: "It is the younger generation who has been attached to the appearance, but I know his mistake."

Moya nodded, and the spiritual energy fluctuated on the stone table in front of him gradually formed a picture. The picture appeared in the picture. A young man, wearing a yellow shank, and a circle of Buddha light shining behind his head. He was clearly a young man who practiced Buddhism, but he had a half-short head, swinging pickaxe and soil, helping farmers work in the fields. Wangchen thought for a moment, and suddenly said, "If I remember correctly, this person should be Mu Yuan, who was known as one of the eight masters of the Central Plains when he was discussing swordsmanship in Yuxu Palace."

"Yes, I'm worried about fellow Taoist Wangchen coming here this time, it's for him." Master Moya said: "Muyuan is also traveling in the world. Soon I will ascend to the Pure Land of Bliss. I accidentally found that Mr. Muyuan is also related to this little demon disaster, and has great opportunities to be with the person who responded to the disaster. I know that fellow Taoist Wangchen is going to find Chu Xunyu. I want fellow Taoist Wangchen to take care of Muyuan more in the future, and have great opportunities in the future."

After hearing this, Wangchen was confused. He also heard about this young monk named Muyuan. He was the sat down disciple of Master Huitan, the presidency of the Jinling Heavenly Realm Temple in the capital. It is said that he has reached the early stage of the realm of the Nascent Soul stage after only a hundred years. His cultivation level has reached the early stage of the Nascent Soul stage. At the last five hundred years of the Yuxu Palace Sword Contest, he entered the top eight. Because that was a competition with a high level in history, people later called them the Eight Juns of the Central Plains, which was a commendation title for the top eight young talents of the Central Plains Taoist Sect at that time.

But Mu Yuan is indeed a latecomer. Even his master, President Huitan, is considered to be the disciple of Master Moya, not to mention that the two places are far apart and Master Moya is not interested in socializing, so how could he have something to do with him and let himself protect him well?

Wang Chen then told his questions and asked the master to make it clear, but Moya smiled and shook his head and said, "The secrets of heaven cannot be revealed."

This sentence means that Wang Chen has nothing to say and is very puzzling.

Finally, Master Moya said, "My friend Wangchen, I see that you are indeed talented. However, this time I enter the world and seek opportunities, I will inevitably have to fight with others. Although the practice techniques of your Tianji Pavilion are extremely exquisite, most of them are methods to observe the fortune of heaven and be close to the way of heaven. It will be a bit difficult to fight with others in the future. I am about to ascend and leave, and I cannot take away anything outside. There is a string of rosary beads here, which can be handed over to you, but I often carry them. Although it is not a powerful weapon, I have been with me for many years and have some magical uses in stabilizing my mind and defending against infringement, which has helped you a lot."

After saying that, he handed over the rosary in his hand, and Wangchen took it in his hand and saw that the rosary was old and could not be distinguished. However, the sandalwood ripples and spiritual fluctuations were extraordinary. The Sixth Patriarch Huineng's "Platform Sutra" was engraved on it. The divine thoughts moved and penetrated it. However, the sound of the Sanskrit sounds were erect, the ears and noses were empty, the spirit was refreshing, and the various Buddhist magic arrays were contained. It was really wonderful.

Although Wangchen knew that this was a disguised thank you for protecting Mu Yuanquan, he was still very grateful. He knew that such things should be passed on to later generations of Buddhism, but he gave them to him. Even though Moya had some desire to make up for it, the courtesy was indeed heavy.

Then the two of them talked about some past events in the master's sect. After a long time, Wangchen stood up and said goodbye, then rode a horse and left with a scroll, and he did have a goal this time. According to Master Moya's final sign, he would go to Chenzhou and wait for Chu Xunyu to travel.

There is a way of seeing the origin of fate, and dust falls
