doomsday prophecy(2/2)

6) The world's population grew too fast. In 1972, the world's population exceeded 3.754 million; in the summer of 1991, it exceeded 5 billion, and now it has exceeded 6 billion.

Most of these six reasons are caused by people's selfishness, greed, plunder, and indulgence in lust, which are the reflection and manifestation of sin.

2. There will be plague in many places

Literally speaking, it means that there is a fierce epidemic of infectious diseases in many places, causing serious deaths. In essence, people's health is threatened by disease attacks and cannot overcome or eliminate diseases that are enough to cause death.

Since the mid-19th century, science has been developed and medical skills have been wise. In bacteriology, pharmacology, physiology, pathology, public health, and surgery, it has all made leap forwards, blocking the spread of many infectious diseases and creating many new drugs with unique medical effects. The average life expectancy of people has increased, the survival rate of babies has increased greatly, medical equipment is becoming more and more advanced, and people’s nutritious food is richer than before. According to common sense, the sign of “there will be plague in many places” is unlikely to appear at the end of the world!

But reality tells us that various diseases have not decreased due to the development of science, improvement of medical technology, and improvement of people's living conditions. Some old-fashioned "plagues" that were once blocked, such as tuberculosis, schistosomiasis, venereal diseases, cholera, etc., have made a comeback. Some new "plagues", such as AIDS, mad cow disease, avian influenza, and attacked with environmental pollution and climate changes. In the past, "poverty" and "illness" were linked together, and they said that "poverty and sickness were intertwined", because many diseases were caused by overwork, insufficient nutrition, poor living conditions, and patients had no money to seek medical treatment and medicine. Now it is not necessary to go. With the leap of the economy, living standards have improved, social competition is fierce, people's diet, living habits, and psychological tolerance are too heavy, which has also brought about new diseases, such as wealth disease, excessive obesity, neuroxiety, air conditioning disease, holiday syndrome, etc.

Take Thailand as an example. The average income of the people increased from 90 US dollars 30 years ago (1961) to 90 US dollars in 1991, but the people who died of heart disease also increased from 2.7% of the death toll to 23%. Some sociologists joked that this is a "rich heart disease" brought about by Thailand's economic prosperity. According to the German Frankfurt Report on April 19, 2005, 22% of Chinese adults were overweight; 160 million people had high blood lipids; and 60 million people were seeking medical treatment due to obesity.

In Japan, more than ten years ago, there was a best-selling book called "Forty-One Life" that was surprisingly quotable: "Half of the Japanese born after 1959 can only live to the age of 41!" The author of the book, Nishimaru Shinya, believes that the cause of the inevitable short life of contemporary Japanese youth is not natural disasters such as wars and earthquakes, but the disruption and destruction of human metabolic functions by fast-frozen food, fast food, food additives, etc. The current per capita fat volume of Chinese people has increased from 210 grams in 1992 to 248 grams in 2004, five percentage points higher than the recommended value of the World Health Organization.

"AIDS", this is a new plague, known as "terrible ghost" and "global plague", is spreading everywhere at a surprising speed, devouring the lives of countless people, bringing pain and great terror to the sick and the people they come into contact with, and the entire society. On December 1, 1991, it was stipulated as "World AIDS Day". The theme of "AIDS - to meet the challenges together" is the theme of this day, which reflects the common voice of the people of the world. UNICEF announced that by 2000, 10 million children will become orphans due to their parents' death from AIDS bacteria. What a terrible phenomenon!

Dear friends, from the above list of limited examples, you will definitely agree: "There will be plagues in many places", this prophecy of the omen of doomsday is fulfilled around us and the entire world.

3. The earth must be greatly shaken (Luke 21:11) There will be earthquakes in many places (Matthew 24:7)

Frequent and large earthquakes are a significant sign of the end of the world (Matthew 24:7; Luke 21:11; Revelation 6:12; 8:5; 11; 13, 19; 16:18).

According to statistics on page 55 of the 1911 report by the British Association for the Advancement of Science:

The devastating world in the 16th century was 253 times

A total of 378 times in the 17th century

A total of 640 times in the 18th century

A total of 2119 times in the 19th century

There have been statistics on small earthquakes or no dangerous earthquakes around the world, and it is once every half minute.

In the first 43 years when world history entered its "end" (1798), an unprecedentedly tragic earthquake occurred in Europe, commonly known as the "Lisbon (the name of the capital of Portugal) earthquake", but it was not limited to the area near the capital of Portugal. It extended to most of Europe, Africa and the Americas, and the range of this earthquake was no less than four million square miles. The damage caused was unprecedented. Most of the city of Algiers was destroyed. Not far from Morocco, a countryside with a population of 8,000 to 10,000 fell. In the course of about six minutes, the death toll reached 60,000.

On November 1, 1755, it happened to be Sunday, when churches and monasteries were crowded with people. The earth shook, "After that every church and monastery in the city collapsed, and very few escaped from death. All great public buildings almost collapsed. About two hours after the earthquake, several places in the city caught fire. The fire was fierce and burned for three days, and the whole city became ruins. The people were frightened and terrified, and it was indescribable. No one cried because it was impossible to cry at all. People could only run around in panic, beat their chests and faces, shouting, "God, save me! The end of the world has come!" It is estimated that more than 90,000 people died in that day.

Although the Lisbon earthquake was so wide, it was devastated, and the number of casualties was unprecedented in history, compared with the major earthquakes in the 20th century, it was a slim figure and pale in comparison.

In 1923, the 8.3-magnitude earthquake in Yokohama, Kanto, Japan, killed 140,000 people;

In 1935, a magnitude 7.5-magnitude earthquake in Quetta, India killed 50,000 people;

The 1950 earthquake in Asiam in India broke the record by magnitude 9.

In 1976, a magnitude 8.2 earthquake in Tangshan, China, killed 240,000 people.

The Philippines tsunami in 1976, killing more than 5,000 people. In addition to the amazing intensity, this transnational earthquake in South Asia has never encountered a major earthquake, which can cause tsunamis to affect so many countries and so far away.

However, if the Philippines tsunami, compared with the tsunami that occurred in the waters north of Sumatra Island in western Indonesia on December 26, 2004 last year, was insignificant, the number of casualties, the number of damage, and the wide area.

On December 26, 2004, at 8:58 am in the sea area north of Sumatra, Indonesia, the movement of the submarine fault triggered an earthquake, causing the 1,200-kilometer-long fault to move up 30 meters. The water level rose, and billions of tons of seawater were discharged everywhere at a speed of 800 kilometers per hour, reaching the coast, and the water surged extremely high and huge roars. The province of Aceh was attacked. 20 minutes later, a 5-10-meter-high water wall surged to the land of Banda Aceh, the capital. About an hour after the earthquake, the water suddenly receded during the rising tide of the Thai tourist resort, Phuket Beach, exposed corals, and the huge waves of ten meters swept away divers and many ships, many missing. At the same time, the tsunami rushed to Penang, Malaysia, and then the tsunami rushed to the Andaman Islands, and then to Myanmar and Bangladesh. There were magnitude 6-8 earthquakes in these three places that day.

More than two hours after the earthquake, the tsunami of Sri Lanka was reached, with more than 10,000 people killed and one million people suffered disaster in two or three days.

About three hours after the earthquake, huge waves of ten meters hit the southeastern coast of India, sweeping away a large number of fishermen.

Half an hour later, the Maldives were flooded.

Before dusk, the tsunami hit the Seychelles, Mauritius and Reunion again.

At night, the tsunami arrived thousands of kilometers from the center of the earthquake, and across the entire eastern coast of Africa, across the Indian Ocean.

The intensity of this earthquake reached 9 magnitude. The Polytechnic Institute of Hokkaido University in Japan recorded that the earthquake waves circled the earth for eight times, with the maximum limit of only five weeks. The number of casualties, or 30,000, was actually so fierce that the correct statistics could not be obtained.

This is a warning to the world: there will be more and more disasters in the world, and they will be more and more powerful at a time. This is true, because the end of the world is approaching, and the Lord will come soon!

Please read a verse of the Bible: "The nations on earth are suffering, and they are panicked because of the sound of waves in the sea." (Luke 21:25) The prophecy that Jesus said two thousand years ago rang in our ears and was revealed in our eyes.

The European Institute of Particle Physics (CERN) recently launched the Large Hadron Collider in an underground channel, thus opening the series of experiments on high-speed particle collisions and exploring the mystery of the origin of the universe. However, from the beginning of the experiment, various alarmist "apocalypse theory" were everywhere in the outside world. Some say that experiments may produce black holes and swallow the earth in an instant, while others say that experiments will induce strange particles and trigger a series of catastrophic reactions. In fact, before several other particle physics experiments were launched, or even the first nuclear weapon experiments, the world was filled with similar doomsday prophecies. Humans predicted the arrival of the doomsday thousands of years ago. However, these prophecies were confirmed to be lies one by one. Here are 30 "doomsday prophecies" that have not become reality.

1. 2800 BC: The Assyrian mud monument records the end of the world, which is the oldest prophecy of the end of the world. The inscription reads: "Our earth will decline in the future. All signs indicate that the world will quickly perish. Bribery and corruption are quite common." In fact, no matter where it is, as long as two people over 30 years old gather together, we may hear similar alarmist words.

2. 1st century AD: There is an interesting passage in the Gospel of Matthew from Jesus: "I honestly say to you that there are some standing things here that should not experience the taste of death until they see the 'Son' from that kingdom." This clearly reveals a message: the end of the day will happen at any time in a lifetime. Revelation also boldly predicts the date of the upcoming Last Judgment Day: "Oh, I will come soon, and my reward is to reward everyone according to his work." These remarks are the source of Christian millennium religious worship for more than 2,000 years, and we will see evidence in this area below.

3. 2nd century AD: Montanists were probably the first widely recognized cult to believe in the "apocalypse". The religion was founded by Montanus around 155 AD. His believers believed that Jesus Christ was about to return to the world and establish a base in Anatolia, the middle part of Turkey, where they waited for the arrival of the apocalypse. Montanus was a religious leader with great appeal and could speak to the believers in many languages, but all his prophecies were in vain.

4. March 25, 970 AD: Lotharingian calculators believed they found evidence in the Bible: a conjunction of a religious festival heralds the end of the world. They were only part of countless believers who spread the end of the world on the eve of the first millennium. A monk in the Monastery of San Bernau wrote a letter to their king, complaining about the practice of the Lotharinians: "As the rumors that the Annunciation Festival points to the Good Friday are almost everywhere in every corner of the earth, it is undoubtedly possible that this is the end of the world." Before this ominous day passed, the panic of the millennium lasted for at least 30 years.

5. 1284 AD: Pope Innocent III predicted that Jesus Christ would come to the world again in this year. The date he prophesied was obtained based on the date when the Muslim faith began, and then added 666 years to this date.

6. Botticelli's "The Mysterious Birth": The oil painting "The Mysterious Birth" was written by Sandro Botticelli, an early Italian Renaissance painter, and is now collected in the National Gallery of London. Botticelli once wrote an inscription on oil paintings in Greek, calling the early 16th century a period before the end of the world, which is the so-called "Day of Suffering", and predicted that Christ would come back to the world around 1504.

7. February 1, 1524 AD: A group of British astrologers predicted that humans would usher in the second "great flood" this year, and the source of this disaster was in the Thames. This prediction scared many people. At that time, about 20,000 people left their homes and fled to the high places, but in the end they all went in vain. Interestingly, it was not only the British astrologer who made this mistake, but the German astrologer Johannes Stoeffler also made a similar prediction in the same month.

8. 1648 AD: After carefully studying the mysterious doctrine of Judaism, the Turkish Judaism pastor Sabbatai Zevi predicted that the Messiah (the savior expected by the Jews) would return to the earth in 1648, and his name was Shabati Savi. 1648 had long been the past, but the great disaster that Savi mentioned did not happen at all.

9. 1666 AD: There were too many signs that predicted the end of the world this year. Since the year contained 3 "6", some people linked it to the "number of beasts 666" in the Bible Revelation. The long-term raging British plague exacerbated people's fear. Faced with these so-called omens, many people became increasingly convinced that the London fire that occurred in this year was a sign of the Last Day of Judgment.

10. 1794 AD: Charl Wesley, founder of the United States and the United States Society, believed that the world would go to destruction this year. Coincidentally, the tremor faction also predicted that the so-called "final judgment" would appear this year.

11. December 25, 1814: In Devon, England, a woman named Joanna Southcott claimed to be a prophet and asserted that the child she would conceive in the future was Jesus; the Savior would come to the world again on Christmas Day 1814 with her body. Ironically, Nan Court's virginity remained until her 60s, but she still believed that her prophecy would definitely become a reality.

December 25th ultimately did not become the end of the world, but something major and tragic happened - Nancourt, who claimed to be a prophet, passed away on this day. Interestingly, many people still believed her prophecy. In 1927, someone opened a mysterious sealed box in front of Bishop Grantham, which was said to be hidden in it by Nancourt. After the box was opened, people did not find the so-called important information, but found a lottery ticket.

12. 1836 AD: Charles was the younger brother of John Wesley, the leader of the Methodist sect. Although his brother's prophecy had been proven to be wrong, John decided to "go to the battle himself" and predicted that 1836 would be the end of the world, and the big monster described in Revelation would appear in this year. Unfortunately, John eventually followed in his younger brother's footsteps.

13. August 7, 1847: A small cult appeared in Germany, called "Harmonists", which has long been forgotten by many people. Its leader George Rapp believed that Jesus would return to the world before his death. Until the last moment of his life, Rapp never wavered this belief. But his prophecy proved wrong.

14. 1874 AD: The "Jehovah's Witnesses" sect predicted the arrival of the end of the world many times. This year is worth remembering because it is the year when this sect predicted the occurrence of the end of the world for the first time (reprinted from China Banbao.com http://, please keep this mark.).

15. 1881 AD: Another year of the "Jehovah's Witnesses" predicted the occurrence of the end of the world. Pyramid occult experts who used special pyramid geometry to calculate world events also predicted that the end of the world would appear in this year through mathematical and numerology. It is said that the world's famous prophet "Mother-in-law Shipton" also predicted that "the end of the world will come in 1881." Although this prophecy was later proved to be wrong, it still cannot prevent a few people from joining what people now call "millennial panic".

16. May 18, 1910: Although many of the apocalyptic prophecies that were circulated before were not realized, Halley's comet's resurrection in 1910 was considered a threat to humanity by many people at that time. At that time, people were worried that it was emitting poisonous gas at its tail. Halley's comet might be the first "apocalypse panic" with scientific basis rather than religious misunderstandings. Interestingly, Mark Twain, an American writer born in 1835, another year of Halley's comet, made a precise prediction of his death in 1910, which coincides with the comet's resurrection.

17. December 17, 1919: Meteorologist Albert Pota asserted that the rare convergence of planets would form a powerful gravity or magnetic flux flow, which would cause huge solar flares to explode onto the earth and burn the atmosphere to ashes. After hearing this prophecy, some timids were afraid of the demise of the earth and chose to commit suicide. Think about it carefully, you will feel that this theory is quite absurd and is another failure of scientific law.

18. AD 1967: The most popular year of the , Jim Jones, SunMyungMoon and George Van Tassel, who claimed to have contacted UFOs, all predicted that this year's "Summer of Love" will be the doomsday.

19. AD: April 29, 1980: Lelan Jensen, the leader of the "Bahá'i Faith" sect, claimed that a nuclear weapon exchange event would occur in several major powers on this day, which would result in millions of deaths. In fact, 1979 and 1983 were the two years when the nuclear weapons war was most likely, but humans were avoided by luck. On April 30, when the "prophet" found himself alive, he changed his words, "This is the beginning of suffering."

20. March 10, 1982: Almost a replica of the 1919 false prophecy, a widely circulated "scientific" book "Jupiter Effect" warns people that planets converge will cause major earthquakes or solar flares, or both. In fact, the only gravitational effect of planets that we can perceive is the possibility of tides in some places, with peaks 0.04 mm higher than usual. In 1980, the evangelist Pat Robertson also predicted: "I am sure that 1982 is the year that determines the fate of the earth."

21. April 29, 1987: Lelan Jensen, known as the "apocalypse dealer", began to spread rumors that the earth was about to perish. This time, his theory was that the collision between the earth and Halley's Comet might lead to the doomsday.

22. 1988 AD: This panic on the end of the earth was mainly caused by the best-selling book "Bible Prophecy: The Disappearing Great Earth". The book explains a passage from the Gospels, which means that the Savior will come again within 40 years of the founding of Israel.

23. September 28, 1992: The weird missionary Loren Stewart publicly claimed that he had deciphered a sentence from the Bible that this day would be the end of the world. He kept inspiring people to take crazy actions. Later, Stewart was imprisoned for the crime of kidnapping, and the end of the day he provoked reached its extreme.

24. March to May 1997: This year, astronomical enthusiast Kark Schlamek came to an error when he observed the comet of Hale-Bop, leading to the emergence of the "apocalypse". He left a message on a website that a companion star followed closely behind the comet. This influential website exaggerated the news and spread it all over the world. Another reason for this apocalypse panic was that some people proposed that the solar system would pass through a mysterious and completely fictional space area called the Photon Belt. The cult "Gate of Heaven" used these rumors to create a collective suicide in March of the year.

25. March 31, 1998 at 12:01 am: This is the most accurate prediction about the day of Advent. Chen Hengming, the leader of the Taiwanese cult "The TrueWay", announced on American TV that God was about to come back and he would land on the earth in a spaceship. Of course, God did not come to the earth as scheduled. Chen Xinran admitted his fault and was willing to be crucified. But no one seemed interested in this.

26. AD 1999: Between 1998 and 1999, rumors about the end of the world were continuous, and the panic of the end of the world reached an unprecedented level. Some fortune tellers and prophets said that the end of the world would come in July this year. Shortly after the panic in July ended, there were rumors that the "Cassini" would hit the earth and release the radioactive fuel it carried.

27. 2000 AD: Even the great scientist Isaac Newton believed that the end of the world prophesy in Revelation would take place in 2000, and in his Prophecies

The detailed introduction was made in "Apocalypse of St. John". As it turns out, Newton was also wrong.

28. February 12, 2006: Clinton Ortiz claimed on his website that Prince William would be in power on this day, pointing out that Prince William was the anti-Christian man mentioned in Revelation. He also quoted Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, as saying: "I believe that William can rebuild King Arthur's palace, and I will be his Merlin. William will change the monarchy through his love, leadership and compassion."

29. April 13, 2007: An unnamed gambler bet with the famous gambling company Ladbrokes for 10 pounds, predicting that the end of the world would appear on this day, with the odds of 10,000 to 1.

30. March 21, 2008

Day: A very small Christian sect, The Lords ‘Witnesses’, announced on their website that this day is the end of the world, and interestingly, this prophecy is still hanging on its website!

31. December 21, 2012: The Mayans predicted that it would be the end of the world, and some experts said that it was not the end of the world. On the winter solstice in 2012, the sun passed by the heart of the galactic heart, which was the end of the world that was circulated by many people.
