Chapter Sixteen: Meals at Stacy's(2/2)

"Hey, Gwen said that the money she earned recently was from working part-time as a photographer outside. Do you remember?"

Suddenly, Helen thought of something.

"Ah? Hmm!"

George was a little confused, but in order to justify the lie, he still followed his wife's words.

"Did Gwen get the part-time opportunity by contacting you, an old friend?"

"Um?"

George looked at the dining table with a wary expression.

At the dinner table, Jason saw Stacey’s famous Lemon Bass.

He was very embarrassed looking at this genius dish.

I poked the fish with my fork and couldn't figure out where to start.

At this embarrassing moment, Gwen, who had been staring at Jason for a long time, couldn't hold it any longer.

She kicked Jason to attract his attention.

"Jason, why do you have anything to do with my dad?"

Jason, who felt his calf was itchy, did not respond to Gwen immediately.

Instead, he lowered his head and lifted up the tablecloth, and then saw Gwen's feet next to her knees, kicking them around.

Ah this...

"This isn't important!"

"Why are you hurt?"

Jason ignored Gwen's flexible legs and turned to her outfit.

Gwen's left leg was in a cast, and her hair was a mess, with a potato chip stuck in her hair.

What a real house girl!

Was the quiet top student from before killed?

"That lizard man's tail is so wicked."

"He hit me in the calf with a sneak attack."

"But I'm fine now. It's just for..."

"You know!"

Before speaking, Gwen looked left and right to make sure her family's attention was not around her.

She is very alert!

"I see!"

It turns out it was the lizard hunter who was injured!

"Hey, wait!"

"Haven't I already eliminated the lizard people?"
