Chapter 1568 The Treasure of Saint Denis Eight(2/2)
It’s not that easy to find a housekeeper. A woman who spends money to dress herself up will definitely look better than one who doesn’t. It’s certainly pleasing to the eye to marry a beautiful princess, but “queen” and “princess” are different.
"Crack."
Napoleoni removed his boots and shined a torch on them, and found that there were shards of glass everywhere on the ground.
"Why is there glass here?" Georgiana asked. "There are also windows underground?"
No one answered her, and they continued walking down the stairs.
Soon they came to a place similar to an atrium, where there was a "ruin" composed of glass mountains.
"This seems to be something before." Bersier said as he swept the pile of glass with a torch. These colorful glasses gave off a very beautiful light, like gems.
"Maybe someone swept the glass fragments from upstairs here." A guide said.
"Is there anything you can do?" Napoleoni asked her.
Georgian said nothing.
"Is that okay?" He tilted his head and looked at her.
"This is a church." Georgiana said. "Please show some respect and courtesy."
"Do it!" he ordered.
Georgiana gave up after hesitating and struggling for 2 seconds.
She raised her wand and used "Restore to Original" on the pile of glass.
The broken glass spliced together at a magical speed, and even the glass that had been stepped on to pieces on the road came over, and soon turned into a box full of glass.
Georgiana used a fluorescent flasher in the hollow glass. The light passed through the glass and left a projection on the low ceiling, with a line of Latin text on it.
"Your choice determines your happiness." Georgiana stared at the characters and translated, "I thought it was a map."
The three men stared at the ceiling without saying anything.
Georgiana put other pieces of glass in the box, and this time the rose window appeared on the ceiling.
She changed a few more glass pieces, except for the different styles, they were all rose windows.
"It seems that this is only used to design rose windows." She said boringly.
"It's a worthwhile trip." Bonaparte said with a smile, "What do you think?"
"Your choice determines your happiness, this sentence will become my family motto." Bersier also said with a smile, "You have worked so hard, it is worth it."
"Yes, it's worth it." The other two guides immediately agreed.
"Hahaha." Bonaparte laughed proudly.
"What are you talking about?" Georgiana asked confused.
No one paid attention to her, and they continued to walk inside after a short stay. After several searches inside, and the excavations of later people, it was already in ruins, and there was nothing to find, so they returned to the ground.
Before leaving, they took away all the glass she had restored with magic.
Now that the basement is completely empty, with no other inhabitants except rats and snakes, the only way to find the treasure of Saint Denis is to find other clues.
