Chapter 2817 Red Hunger Nineteen
Chapter 2819 The Fleeing Wolf (2)
Horned beast powder is an active ingredient in many extraordinary medicines, such as love potions and the Cruciatus Curse. It can strengthen nerves, increase endurance, and "awaken" people from obsession and pain...
I woke up from the few minutes of sleep I had. Ever since I came to this mysterious and weird place, I was frightened by fear. Every time I saw the luggage left by my colleagues, it became even more difficult for me to fall asleep.
"Young friend, let me give you a suggestion." Dr. Self said easily. "As long as you feel drowsy or want to go to bed, you should go back to your room quickly. Only in this way can you sleep well."
Be practical."
I felt dazed, but then Dr. Self stretched out his hand towards me, and I subconsciously pulled him, and then he pulled me to stand up.
Van Helsing pulled off the sheets in the bedroom of the abandoned villa and covered it on a full-length mirror. I looked out the window and saw that the sailboat sailing in the fog with a big hole in its hull was gone.
"That's it for tonight," said Van Helsing.
Neither Dr. Self nor I had any objections. Van Helsing lifted up the box in his hand, which contained the dust found in the box on the ship. He had opened it and examined it before, and it did not disappear with the ship.
I hope I haven't become nervous and easily frightened. I'm not ashamed to say it now, I'm just worried about delaying everyone's progress.
After a few minutes of silence, Van Helsing and Dr. Self talked about their previous experiences on the ship.
"This is normal. Some undead souls don't know they are dead. On Halloween we will light bonfires for them so that they can go home." Dr. Self said calmly, "We will leave them at the dinner table."
Seat, when I was little I once sat in the seat reserved for them, but my mother drove me away."
"Are there any 'sequelae' left behind?" Van Helsing asked.
"For a while, I often dreamed about an old man. He often held a cane and said he wanted to teach me what politeness was. After a while, he disappeared."
I rummaged in my pocket for a while and took out the cigarette and flint. Van Helsing took them, but Dr. Self refused, so Van Helsing and I smoked and walked away together.
By this time the fog had dissipated, revealing the bright moon in the sky. I felt that this was the most beautiful moonlight I had ever seen in my life.

"They are playing tricks." Snape said. "We need to find out what secrets they hide."
"You mean, like searching their dormitory?" Pomona asked.
He stared at her as if silently saying "yes".
Barnaby was surprised to see Cecil. He probably didn't expect that Cecil would come to school to spend Christmas with him today.
"A very nice scarf." Cecil praised, "Is this a gift from Miss Tourt to you?"
Barnaby didn't reply, and the situation was awkward for a while. Fortunately, lunch "appeared" at this time, and the other children who stayed in school began to feast.
Pomona searched around, but did not see Jonathan Chavez, the third-year Hufflepuff boy whose parents had died and whose home was in a fire.
Even though the Death Eaters were doomed to be defeated, they still couldn't stop some people from going crazy. They set fire to a Muggle building with Chavez's family inside. He was not harmed because he hid in the bathroom.
, this incident was published in Muggle newspapers as a miracle, and it was also on that day that he awakened.
Pomona decided to go find him and come back. She put down her napkin and left the table.
The Australian "food therapy" method may be effective for some people, but food is not a panacea and can cure all injuries.
She found him by the black lake.
While eating his sandwich, he fed the giant squid in the water with bread.
"Chavez," Pomona shouted.
Chavez turned around. He was unremarkable. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and freckles on his face.
She didn't ask him why he didn't go back to the Great Hall and sit by the warm fire to eat the big meal. He was always out of sight wherever Barnaby was.
"Be careful not to fall into the lake," Pomona yelled.
"Don't worry, I won't!" Chavez waved cheerfully towards Pomona.
"I've been looking for you for a long time and you didn't even say hello!"
Chavez knew that she would not leave so easily. He stood up, patted the snow on his robe, and left with Pomona.
They said they were together, but in fact they were still some distance away. Chavez seemed to be following her.
They didn't say a word during the whole journey, and when they returned to the castle, Chavez went directly back to the lounge.
Pomona thought of Phoebe, who, like Chavez, seemed to have fallen from sunlight into darkness.
She left the door of the lounge. Although Severus asked her to search the dormitory, she did not have as strong curiosity as him, especially when others were not around. If Leeds and Barnaby chose to hide it, there must be their reasons.
As soon as she returned to the office, there was a knock on the office door.
"Come in," Pomona said.
The person who came in was not a student, but Cecil, his expression was very serious.
"Have you talked to your nephew?" Pomona asked.
"Yes." Cecil sat down on the chair opposite her. "I'm so sorry, Professor, this is a problem in our family."
Pomona smiled understandingly.
"There was a doll," Cecil continued. "It was broken, but my brother bought it and kept it at home."
"I heard about your family's 'hobby'." Pomona smiled dryly.
"It is said that he collected that doll because it has collectible value. The doll is an antique, a French puppet from the 18th century." Cecil said.
Pomona felt a little restless "What happened to that doll?"
"He brought it to school." Cecil sighed. "He seems to have a friend, his name is Ben, right?"
Pomona nodded.
"They fixed the doll and it told them there was a secret passage under the abandoned castle of Irondale," Cecil said.
Pomona was not surprised; she knew that Barnaby and Liz's discovery of the place would not be a coincidence.
"What did you find?" Cecil asked.
She wondered whether she should tell Cecil.
"You can go find Rudy, they're going to search there," Pomona said.
"I'll be there." Cecil said. "Thank you."
"Thank you for coming today. I know you are very busy." Pomona looked at Cecil's haggard look. It was obvious that he had not slept well for a while.
"No, I still have to thank you." Cecil said, "Although it was short, I still had a great time this Christmas."
After he finished speaking, he stood up and left Pomona's office.
After he left, Pomona immediately took out the double-sided mirror.
"Severus!" she said to the mirror.
After a while, Snape's face appeared in the mirror, and music could be heard in the background.
"What?"
"They hid a doll!" Pomona trembled nervously.
"So?" he asked.
"Have you ever heard of that famous doll from the 1970s?" Pomona asked.
"You mean Barbie?" he said jokingly.
"No, it's Annabelle!" she almost screamed. "It's in Hogwarts now!"
"Relax, I'll be back soon." He whispered.
She knew he was partying and becoming Draco Malfoy's godfather.
"Come back soon." She said fragilely.
"I will," he said, and then the mirror went dark and only the music could be heard.
Because Albus liked to listen to chamber music, Pomona recognized that the music played at this moment was a minuet, suitable for court dancing in the 18th century. In the 20th century, people only regarded it as elegant background music.
This piece of music kept echoing in her ears, like a lingering dream.
