Chapter 19 Hug You

Wen Yan went to the nursing home the next day, and the nurse who took care of Ruan Qinghe showed surprise when she saw her.

"You're here, your mother has been talking about you for a long time." She helped Wen Yan open the door and said to the people inside: "Qinghe, who do you think is here?"

The woman in the room was winding wool. When she heard this, she turned around and her eyes lit up when she saw Wen Yan.

"Yanyan!"

Then, she ran towards the door, stuck her head out and looked out. When she saw no one except the caregiver, she turned around and looked at Wen Yan, "Isn't he here?"

Wen Yan saw that the light in her eyes was covered with loss.

She is over forty years old, but she is still as beautiful as a girl and as fair as a girl, no different from the talented dancer she was when she was young.

At this moment, when she looked at people softly and weakly, no one could help but feel sorry for her.

Wen Yan stepped forward and held her hand like a child, "He is busy with work, so he asked me to accompany you."

Ruan Qinghe muttered unhappily, "You promised me that you would bring him to see me."

Wen Yan lowered his head and did not meet her eyes. She had promised. Her mother had always been forgetful, but she still remembered a sentence she said two years ago.

It's just that she can never bring that person back again.

When Wen Yan raised her face again, her eyes were red and her tone was a little aggrieved, "I didn't bring him back. Doesn't mom want to see me?"

Ruan Qinghe looked at her. Her eyes were very clean, like a child who didn't understand anything. After looking at her for a while, she held Wen Yan's hand behind her back and said, "You want to stay with me more."

Wen Yan did not make another promise easily. She just looked at the ball of wool on the table and asked Ruan Qinghe, "What is mom doing?"

As she talked, she walked over. As she got closer, she saw a scarf that was knitted one-third of the way under the wool. It was dark gray and looked like it was knitted for a man.

Ruan Qinghe twisted his fingers in embarrassment, "I want to give it to him when he comes."

Wen Yan smiled at her, "He will definitely like it very much."

Ruan Qinghe smiled with red cheeks and pursed lips.

This morning, Wen Yan has been accompanying Ruan Qinghe, eating with her, walking with her, watching her knitting scarves, and watching her take a nap.

When she is not sick, she is gentle and quiet, and speaks softly.

But when she woke up from her lunch break and saw Wen Yan sitting beside the bed, her eyes seemed to be a different person, innocent and cruel.

Wen Yan's heart skipped a beat, and she subconsciously wanted to avoid it. Ruan Qinghe rushed towards her, grabbed her hair, and beat her like crazy.

"It's all because of you, it's all because of you that he doesn't want me! Why don't you die!"

Her voice was sharp and harsh. Wen Yan just skillfully shielded his face from being hurt by her and let her beat her without moving until the doctor rushed in and pulled Ruan Qinghe away and gave her a sedative to calm her down.

Wen Yan sat up.

The doctor's surname was Bai. He was also in his forties. He had been in charge of Ruan Qinghe since she moved in. He was also familiar with Wen Yan. He looked at the bloody scratch marks on Wen Yan's arm and said, "Take you to deal with it?"

Wen Yan looked at Ruan Qinghe who had lost consciousness and shook his head, "No need."

Dr. Bai hesitated for a while and then stopped taking care of it.

Wen Yan did not leave. After a while, Ruan Qinghe woke up. When she saw Wen Yan, she called her in confusion. Then she saw the injury on her arm. She took Wen Yan's arm and blew on her heartache, "What are you doing?"

Like this?"

This caring and reproachful tone is a bit like my mother's.

Wen Yan stared into her eyes, "Mom did it."

Ruan Qinghe pointed at himself in disbelief and opened his mouth, "Me?"

Wen Yan nodded, and Ruan Qinghe suddenly panicked and cried guiltily, "Did the devil in mom's body come out again? I'm sorry."

Wen Yan lowered her head and concentrated on wiping away the tears from the corners of her eyes, and said softly: "It doesn't matter, mommy hugs me and I won't feel any pain."

"Okay, give me a hug." Ruan Qinghe took Wen Yan into his arms, held her tightly, and muttered, "It doesn't hurt anymore, it doesn't hurt anymore, baby, it doesn't hurt anymore."

Wen Yan also raised her arms to hug Ruan Qinghe and closed her eyes slightly, but she could no longer smell the reassuring aroma of her mother, replaced by the smell of potion.

After only hugging him for a while, Ruan Qinghe forgot the original intention of hugging Wen Yan. She let go of Wen Yan, started to pull her clothes to point out the needle holes on her body to Wen Yan, and said aggrievedly: "It hurts so much, I don't want to get an injection."
