Chapter 12 Hello, I'm Looking for Spider-Man

"Um?"

The spatial fluctuations caused by the portal behind him naturally attracted Li Jie's attention. He turned around and saw that ten steps away from him, a circle of portals flashing with electric sparks was gradually expanding.

"Mage Supreme?"

Li Jie curiously looked at the other end of the portal. It seemed to be a warmly decorated living room. Is the Supreme Mage in this universe so tasteful?

After all, this is the twentieth century, and the best Doctor Strange has not yet been born, so when he saw this familiar portal, Li Jie's first reaction was naturally the Supreme Mage.

After thinking about it, Li Jie put on the costume of Spider-Man Beyond. He had to be a bit cool when meeting him for the first time.

The portal stopped expanding. Li Jie curiously took a closer look and found two young people, a man and a woman, standing opposite the portal, waving to him.

Li Jie pointed at himself in confusion, and after confirming that the two people were calling him, out of curiosity, Li Jie stepped into the portal.

"Wait, this seems to be another universe..."

Realizing this, and being unsure of the time flow rate between the two universes, Li Jie took advantage of the portal not being closed and snapped his fingers to temporarily freeze the time in his own universe, and would unblock it after he returned.

"So, where is this?" Li Jie shook his black windbreaker, took off his cowboy hat, held it in his hand and flicked the brim.

"Hey, Ned, this guy is not Parker. Did you make a mistake with the spell?" Gwen frowned. The guy in black in front of her didn't look like her Peter Parker.

"Probably, maybe. When I recited the spell just now, I seemed to be talking about Spider-Man..." Fatty Ned said with some stumble, "Although the color is wrong, look at the mask on his face, it's obviously Spider-Man.

.”

Gwen glared at Ned, making the little fat man shrink his neck in fear.

"Yes, I am Spider-Man." Li Jie put his hat back on, and then added, "You can call me Spider-Man Beyond."

"Why add a prefix?" Ned asked doubtfully, "Aren't you Spider-Man?"

"Uh...yes, I am Spider-Man." Li Jie stared at the little fat man and blinked, "But Spider-Man is not necessarily Peter Parker, and similarly, not all Peter Parker can become Spider-Man.

Don’t ask, just ask and it’s the multiverse.”

"Just like me, I'm not Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man. Do you understand?"

Gwen and Ned shook their heads in unison.

"Oh, well, it seems I'm not the person you're looking for." Li Jie shrugged, "Also, I won't show my face. Spider-Man never takes off his mask." ωωw..net

Can this person read minds?

Gwen glanced at Li Jie suspiciously.

"No, I can't read minds."

Gwen:???

"I want to see Peter Parker."

On the other side, Ned muttered and quickly drew circles in front of him with his hands. Soon, another portal flashing with electric sparks opened in the living room.

This time the man who came out of the portal looked much normal. He was wearing a classic red and blue spider suit, and he took off his hood immediately.

"Hey, where is this?" Garfield Spider looked at the people in the living room with some caution.

"Are you Peter Parker?"

"Yes, no, I'm not." Garfield denied immediately and put on a mask at the same time. He seemed to have mistaken the girl for his mj, so he took off his hood in surprise.

"Hey, man, you're Spider-Man! You're Peter Parker!" Ned looked at the Garfield Spider in front of him with some surprise. Although the details and figure were different, were the costumes exactly the same?

"What is it called?" Garfield Spider was a little confused about the situation in front of it.

"He is also Spider-Man." Ned pointed to Li Jie, who said hello to Garfield Spider in a friendly manner.

"He is Spider-Man, you are also Spider-Man, you...are all Spider-Man?" Gwen felt like she was dizzy. She just felt that Ned was not reliable at all.

"Are you Spider-Man too?" Garfield felt the aura on Li Jie's body carefully, and then immediately shook his head, "No, he is not Spider-Man."

Upon hearing this, Li Jie was instantly unhappy, "No, I am Spider-Man."

"No, you're not."

"No, I am."

"Stop!" Gwen on the side couldn't stand these two chatterers and immediately shouted, "You are all Spider-Man, but you are not the Spider-Man of this universe, understand?"

Gwen said this to Garfield Spider.

"Oh, I think I understand." Garfield Spider took off its hood, "Multiverse, parallel time and space, that's it."

"What was that I just passed through? A magic portal?"

"Oh...yes." Ned's voice was hesitant.

"Yes!" Garfield Spider shouted excitedly, as if it had confirmed something.

Just when he was excited, another portal opened.

"Ned?"

"Well, I promise you this last time. Isn't there an old saying in China that says once again, twice, never again."

The portal opened, and this time it was a middle-aged man who walked into the living room, who was Toby's version of Spider-Man.

Toby Spider was dressed in casual clothes, with his spider suit on the inside, and the outer coat to hide it from others.

"Hi, hello." Toby Spider greeted everyone in the living room with some caution.

"Ned, give up, you are not suitable to be a magician." Gwen covered her face with her hands and her voice sounded a little broken.

The moment he saw Toby Spider, Garfield Spider suddenly had a strange reaction. The spider senses between the two were intertwined with each other. Almost subconsciously, the two of them shot each other at each other.

.

Just as the two of them were looking at each other passionately, the real owner of the house, Little Fat Ned's grandma, suddenly shouted something to everyone in the living room.

"Well, my grandma said she was going upstairs to sleep and asked you to clean up those spider webs." Ned had an awkward smile on his face.

The two genuine Spider-Man hurriedly agreed, not forgetting to say good night to Ned's grandma.

Later, the younger Garfield Spider explained the current situation to the somewhat confused Toby Spider.

"Listen guys, my name is Gwen, he is Ned, and we are good friends with Spider-Man in this universe. Something happened now. He doesn't answer the phone and we can't find him." Gwen was a little anxious.

He explained carefully, "If it were you, where would you go when you are in a bad mood?"

"In my words, it should be..."

Toby Spider and Garfield Spider each claimed a roof, and then they looked at each other and smiled, praising each other's taste.

Li Jie said nothing. He was a little sensitive now and refused to be alone.

"Hey, let me tell you, if you are looking for someone, the few people in this room are not enough." As he spoke, Li Jie shot a round at Ned's finger, grabbed the ring on his hand and put it on

on your own fingers.

It's quite suitable.
