Chapter 35 Cancer and Remodeling (4,000 words)(2/2)

A man yelled, taking off his coat as he ran, revealing a tight-fitting uniform under the clothes, and a pair of white wings spread out behind his back.

"He, he is an angel?!" the eldest daughter Jenny said in surprise.

"Back off, kids." Phil comforted his daughters, "Jenny, give me your camera."

X-Men arrived one after another, including the man who had spoken to Phil before. From their intermittent conversation, Phil vaguely heard words such as "Sentinel" and "Storm".

I saw Angel rising into the sky with Wolverine, and the X-Men named Storm triggered a hurricane, crushing the Sentinel robot that was destroying the building into powder.

The crisis was over, and the onlookers praised and applauded the heroes who had resolved the disaster. The police arrived immediately, dispersed the onlookers, and set up a cordon at the scene.

Phil originally planned to leave with his daughters, but the two little girls still wanted to see it all. They almost didn't care what it was, they just wanted to see more, anything would do.

Two figures fell from the sky, one was Spider-Man and the other was a man wearing a black helmet. They exchanged a few words with the police and then set off to rescue people in the stricken building.

"To be honest, these superheroes are really helpful." A policeman smiled and said to his colleagues, "With them here, we save a lot of trouble."

"But they are wearing so little, isn't it cold?" a colleague asked doubtfully.

"Hey! Dad, that's Spider-Man!" The youngest daughter, Beth, pointed to the red and blue figure in the sky with some excitement. "Who is that next to him? Is it the new superhero?"

"I don't know, he just seemed to say his name was Nova?" Phil heard the conversation between the two superheroes and the police. The man named Nova should be new here.

"Wow, a new superhero, he's so cool, he can actually fly!" Bess held up the camera to take a picture, and then suddenly asked his father, "Is it like this? Dad?"

"What?"

"Are you taking pictures at work like tonight? What is it like when you're working?"

"Uh... that's..." The faces and pictures of countless heroes flashed through Phil's mind. He nodded, "Yes, it's very similar to this time."

"At least a lot of times like this, it's the news, it's what people want to know, what they need to know, what's dangerous, what's new, what's cool."

"It's scary, exciting, exciting, all mixed together."

"Come on, girls, now we need to find a taxi." Waving his hand, Phil motioned for his daughters to follow.

"If your mother knew that I took you to stay to see such dangerous things, she would definitely kill me."

For Phil Sheldon, according to reporters' habits, everything that happened tonight should be summarized into a thirty-line press release and then sent out.

But for tonight, the news doesn't matter, work to hell, Phil has his family tonight, good times, and...

This wonderful world.
