Chapter 20: Clues

After the continuous spring rain has passed, the sun appears more and more frequently, giving people the illusion that summer is approaching.

The afternoon sun made people drowsy, and the crowd at the stall gradually dwindled. Snake Ming lit a cigarette and stood in the corner, smoking quietly.

Jiang Hao put a white towel on his shoulders. He pulled it off and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He turned around and saw Li Yu silently wiping the table and clearing the dishes with a smile on his face.

It was already the third day, and Li Yu had been following them to help at the stall, saying that she wanted to use it to deduct the room fee. In addition, she was good-looking, so she attracted a lot of people.

Jiang Hao once advised her to go back to Xiaobei Village early, but she just followed them out of the stall silently. Seeing the seriousness on her face, she swallowed the words that came to her lips.

The weather is a bit sultry, mixed with a depressing mood.

After noon, Jiang Hao wanted to take out some money to give to customers, but suddenly the eye-catching red and white receipt fell out of his pocket.

Seeing the familiar words on the receipt, Jiang Hao suddenly stopped.

Fangcun Chajiao Tea Wholesale Store.

Jiang Hao woke up with a start. It had been more than ten days since he came to Fangcun Tea House, and there was still no news about Xiao Yao. Coupled with a lot of messy things, he had no time to continue tracing his whereabouts.

"You guys watch, I'm going out for a while."

Jiang Hao hid the receipt back in his pocket and walked towards the other side of Shancun Street.

Seeing this, Li Yu wiped his hands on the rag and followed him out.

Fangcun is not very big, but there are many criss-crossing alleys. To the east is Chajiao Street, which specializes in wholesale and tea factories, while in the middle is Shancun Street. Going west is Fangcun Pier, where boats full of flowers pass through every day.

It is shipped to Shisanhang Port and then resold to all parts of the country and exported to surrounding countries through Shisanhang.

The old arcade eaves block the sunlight, and walking under the arcade gives you a refreshing feeling of coolness.

Jiang Hao compared house numbers and signs one by one, completely unaware of Li Yu who was following him all the way.

A faint scent of tea wafts from this street, and each tea shop that looks like a business occupies an arcade, carrying the flavor and imprint of the times.

After crossing two streets, Jiang Hao squinted carefully, fearing that he would miss the store.

Li Yu followed him, watching his every move.

After turning the corner, Jiang Hao looked up and happened to see a few large yellow characters printed on the brown wooden signboard: Fangcun Chajiao Tea Wholesale Store.

He stood in the middle of the street, comparing the signs word by word, and after confirming them again and again, he stepped into this store that seemed to be doing pretty well.

At this time, the clue was finally found. Li Yu could see the slight smile on Jiang Hao's face from a distance.

"Boss, may I ask, is this receipt from your family?"

Jiang Hao walked to the counter and handed the list to a man who looked like a boss.

The boss behind the counter picked up the receipt and saw that the consignee was signed by Xiao Yao, and his expression suddenly became concentrated.

He raised his round head and looked at him from top to bottom. He did not answer, but folded the receipt under the table, walked out of the counter and waved his hand to the people inside at an angle that Jiang Hao could not see.

A few people inside with hookahs in their mouths were smoking vigorously. When they saw the boss's suggestive wave, they immediately dropped their hookahs and surrounded Jiang Hao with lightning speed.
