Chapter 360 "Corporate Warrior" (275)(1/2)

Traitors are in power

Author: Demon Tribulation Fire

Traitors are in power

Half an hour of conversation,

two glasses of wine,

shake hands,

A sympathetic hug.

Officer Cody Douglas got into Lynch's rented Dodge Van,

When I got up there, I found that the car was full of people, and they all seemed to be ruthless people.

(It seems that this guy is not playing tricks, he is serious...) the police officer thought.

After being suppressed for a long time, the enthusiasm in his heart was reawakened, and the righteous civil servant was determined to help this stranger and guide the car out of the Brooklyn neighborhood to the branch where he worked.

The people in the car were very friendly to him. The police officer quickly lowered his guard and started chatting about his parents' personal problems. Everyone grew up in different environments and told each other some unforgettable past stories.

It was a weekend, there were not many cars on the road, and he was driving very fast. Shaft told a dirty joke, which made everyone in the car laugh.

Officer Cody Douglas smiled for the first time in a long time and looked out the window at the scenery passing by quickly.

"Sir, look at your eyes, are you remembering something?" Shaft said.

"It's this street. Every time before the Federal Army goes out to march, a grand military parade will be held. People stand on the street and wave the blue flag of the Union."

"When did it happen?" Mahamedi asked.

"Many years ago, when I was too young, I was riding on my father's neck. The Union Army uniform was so handsome! Men, women, and children were all shouting or screaming.

My father’s hands grabbed my calves to prevent me from falling. Every time he took me to watch the military parade, he would hum an old song, and I would sit on his neck and hum along with him.”

"What a beautiful memory," Wang Hongye asked, "What's the name of that song?"

"Let me look for it." Officer Cody Douglas stretched out his finger, drew on the touch screen of the car's center console, and entered the network playback software:

"I found "Welcome To The Black Parade". This is it. The 50-year copyright period has passed and it can be played for free."

"I want to hear it!" Lodaev shouted.

"I wonder if the speakers in this car can be used." Lynch held the steering wheel with his left hand and pressed the play button with his right hand:

"

When I was a young boy,

when i was a boy

My father took me into the city

Dad takes me to the city

To see a marching band.

Enjoy the performance of the marching band

He said, "Son when you grow up,

He said: Son, wait until you grow up

would you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?

Are you willing to save those people who live in destruction, frustration, and various disasters?

your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?"

Will you confront the devil, the evil heretics, and thwart their evil plans?

Because one day I'll leave you,

One day I will leave

A phantom to lead you in the summer,

A phantom-like thought leads you to midsummer

To join the black parade."

Join the black parade

And through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets.

Pass through towering and sunken roads, fearless of the streets filled with corpses

The anthem won't explain it.

Psalms do not record this event

And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams

I will only send you a tape as a souvenir from the dream of bloody massacre.

Your weary widow marches

Beneath that widow's march

On and on we carry through the fears

Keep courage and defy fear

Take a look at me cause I could not care at all

Look at me, I won't have the slightest worry

Do or die

Either win or die.

I'm not ashamed, I'm gonna show my scar

Not feeling any shame, just showing off my scars

Listen here, because it's who we are

Listen, this is our destiny

I'm just a man, I'm not a hero

He's just an ordinary human being, not a great hero

I'm just a boy, who's had to sing this song

He is just an ordinary boy, but God has destined me to sing this song,

I - don't - care

I do not care

We'll Carry on, We'll Carry on

hold on, hold on

And though you're dead and gone believe me

The body will die, however,

Your memory will carry on!

The spirit never dies.

"

(Author's note: "Welcome To The Black Parade" does have its own song. Readers are strongly recommended to listen to it, it is an exciting melody.)

"Great song, hurry up and add it to my favorites." Shaft shook his head along with the melody and took out his IPOD to operate it: "This is why you took the police academy exam."

"Yes, my dad is also a policeman and retired not long ago."

Shaft shook his head: "Today's notes are different from those back then."

"The system is rotten... When I was in the police academy, I looked forward to the future. I would be a good police officer, punish crimes and eliminate evil, and maintain law and order in my hometown." Officer Cody Douglas lowered his head and said a little lonely:

"However, the reality is a big mouthful for me. My colleagues fish all day long, sleep in patrol cars, and are so fat that they can't walk. It seems that everyone has long forgotten the graduation oath of the police academy.

"If someone like you does a good job, he is ostracized. This is called bad money driving out good money."

The rapper said: "It's pretty good to show off. Many cops have taken the initiative to contact our lame gang, collect money to provide umbrella services, and turn a blind eye to our doping business. Our little money is nothing, and the company is scheduled to

The protection fee paid is the big one.”

"No one cares about justice, no one cares about the tears of the victim. Everyone wants to close the case quickly and go to a nightclub after get off work."

Sigurdlifa said: "In a world where morality is corrupt and people are entertained to death, a person who fulfills his obligations seriously is doomed to be lonely. Don't be stained by the mud, Officer Cody."

"Don't worry, I will insist on doing my own thing." The police officer looked up and saw the branch wall: "Here we are, park on the opposite street, don't attract attention, you stay in the car, I will go to the director's office and I will be back soon."

The police officer got out of the car and walked towards the gate. The people in the car looked at his back:

"Look, this is the colonial police station. It looks like a public toilet. It's too shabby."
