Chapter 326 Longjiang Bao Shipyard

At the mouth of the Qinhuai River in the northwest of Nanjing, there is a stone camp next to the Yangtze River, which is the famous Longjiang Treasure Shipyard.

It is the oldest and most glorious shipbuilding yard in the world in the Ming Dynasty.

The area reaches the city in the east, Qinhuai in the west, and the left-behind right guard camp in the south. It is one mile wide from east to west and two miles long from north to south, which is about the same size as an ordinary county town.

One hundred and seventy years ago, most of the ships that the Sanbao eunuch Zheng He voyage to the West were from the gates of this shipyard, slowly sailing into the Yangtze River and sailing towards the vast ocean.

Zhao Hao came to this shipyard with a pilgrimage mentality. If the weather hadn't allowed it, he would have even come over with a straw hat and shorts.

Although he was mentally prepared, when he climbed the Shuiguan City Tower, he looked at the mottled stone walls, the incomplete lookout towers, and the ponds where reeds grow and white reeds floated, and it was inevitable that he would sigh "all the wind is gone".

"I can't imagine how the Zheng He treasure ship with 5,000 materials was built here." Zhao Hao patted the city bricks that were about to fall, and sighed with great regret:

"I can only pay attention to the style of the year from the shipyard press department's file."

"I'm afraid I'm going to be disappointed." Wu Shilai, who accompanied him to visit, smiled apologetically: "I know you like big ships. Last time I searched through the archives, but I didn't find a word about the treasure ship, which made all the Liu Daxia and the others back then burned all the money."

"Fuck Liu Daxia!" Mr. Zhao suddenly started swearing when he heard this, and kept scolding for a long time before he stopped.

Uncle Wu was stunned when he heard this. He thought Zhao Hao was a good civilized boy.

The shipyard not far away was receiving the visiting, and the General Cao Jiang and others who accompanied the visit were even more stunned. They thought to themselves, and the boy dared to be so arrogant in front of the bad-tempered Zhongcheng?

Aren’t you afraid that Zhongcheng will get angry?

Mr. Zhao was tired of scolding him, and took the water cup handed over by Xiwa and moistened his throat. He was still angry and said: "In the future, I will definitely restore a treasure ship and then name it 'The Eternal Sinner Liu Daxia'!"

"Uh..." Uncle Wu thought to himself, what kind of grudges are you? He couldn't help but smile bitterly, "This is difficult. It's hard to say whether there is such a big treasure ship. The treasure ship with five thousand materials is too exaggerated, right?"

‘No, there is one…’ The shipyard not far away raised a silent protest.

"No, there is one!" But the irritable young master suddenly became higher.

"Nephew, why are you so sure?" Wu Shilai asked in a strange way.

"Because..., scientific reason..." Mr. Zhao pursed his lips. He couldn't tell Uncle Wu that he had found it based on archaeological discoveries.

Thinking that his history was castrated by his own people, Mr. Zhao became famous again and pointed at the shipyard and raised it: "I see you were very excited just now. Do you know something?"

"No, no, the lower official knows nothing." Nati raised his neck and waved his hand quickly, "Xia Guan thought that even a thousand-material sea boat is difficult to build, and he feels guilty to his ancestors."

"This shipyard is indeed declining." Uncle Wu, wearing a third-rank official robe, nodded and said depressedly:

"But it's not their fault. This treasure shipyard mainly builds ocean-going sea ships. Since voyage to the West, the imperial court still needs such big and incompetent ships? They all went to build canal ships!"

"Building a canal ship does not require such a large pond, such good materials and such good craftsmanship." Natiju continued angrily:

"But if we were to build the canal ships, it would be easy. Unfortunately, the Cao Transportation Office specifically asked the Qingjiang Shipyard to build the canal ships. Only when they couldn't finish it would leak a little from their fingers to us. We hoped that the little leftovers of their food would all starve to death."

"You are so sarcastic here. If you dislike Caojiang Yamen, just say it!" Wu Shilai pulled his face and glared at him and said, "Qingjiang Shipyard is in Huai'an, and Caogu Yamen is also in Huai'an. Why are you fighting with others? Move the shipyard to the shipyard too!"

"The villain doesn't mean that." Natiju was so scared that he knelt down and shivered: "The villain is just a simple jealous Qingjiang Factory, and the villain never dares to do it again."

"Get out." Wu Shilai snorted, and his tread was like a general amnesty, and he hurriedly rolled around and rolled around.

Zhao Hao took a deep look at Natiju and walked side by side with Wu Shilai to the stairs of the Shuiguan Pass:

"Isn't Caojiang Yamen very plump? Why did you lose your head when you're hungry?"

"Nephew, this is just standing and talking without any pain in your waist." Wu Shilai said with a blank look:

"I have three generals below, 20,000 troops on the water and on the land. Which one should I not eat? Isn't it enough to raise more than 2,000 craftsmen in the shipyard? Jiang Fang does not need a big ship. Is it a waste of money to raise them?"

Zhao Hao heard that there were more than 2,000 craftsmen, so he swallowed his saliva and almost blurted out, "If you don't want it, I'll want it."

Fortunately, the remaining reason defeated greed. This is the imperial treasure shipyard. The ranks of eighth ranks were all officially craftsmen in the Ministry of Works. They were all registered craftsmen in the Ministry of Works. They could still operate after digging a group on a small scale. If they were to take one pot, would they rebel?

The two walked along the weedy causeway and saw craftsmen building several sand boats of four hundred materials there.

The four hundred-four-filled sand boat is already a giant in the inland river, but in this huge pond, it is like a small fishing boat, and the highest mast is not more than the depth of the pond.

Zhao Hao looked down at the 'little' boat under his feet and sighed deeply: "It's a waste to kill a chicken and use a ox knife."

"I'll just turn a blind eye." Wu Shilai said lightly: "Our Yangtze River Navy can't use such a large ship."

The implication is that it is a private job secretly collected by the boat yard. Even two thousand craftsmen cannot really rely on drinking the northwest wind to survive, right?

"Since that's the case, what about helping me build a few boats?" Mr. Zhao smiled.

"What's the difficulty? How many? How big? What model?" Wu Shilai asked with a smile.

"Four hundred pieces, one thousand materials, just sand boats." Zhao Hao replied calmly.

"How many?" Wu Shilai was so shocked that he almost fell into the dry pond.

"Four hundred." Zhao Hao repeated it.

"Xian, nephew, aren't you a fun uncle?" Wu Shilai asked in a daze.

"I dare not." Zhao Hao whispered: "I'm serious."

"Then the problem is even bigger!" Wu Shilai was not happy but surprised, pulled him aside, and said anxiously: "Do you know that a ship with a thousand materials can only drive on the Yangtze River and cannot reach the canal?"

"I didn't plan to go to the canal either." Zhao Hao was still not anxious or slow, as if the irritable boy just now was someone else.

"I'm going to go to sea."
