Chapter 80 Graduation(1/2)

The setting is a modern Japanese fantasy. The heroine has only a younger sister, and her younger sister's name is Minamoto Chirin.

-

"senior?"

In front of me is a fair, childish face. Looking further down, I see the familiar school uniform and his slender legs - a unique youthfulness of his age.

"Senior, are you okay?"

He was worried and asked me again. Behind the single lens that didn't match the school uniform at all, there was a pair of pure and flawless black eyes.

"Senior Azi? Huh? Why are you here? Aren't you going to take pictures soon?"

I raised my head slightly, looked over the shoulder of the person in front of me, and saw a person leaning against the wall at the door of the classroom - that was my classmate Prajna. He smiled softly, his beautiful eyes narrowed slightly, and he wore a clean white shirt.

It fits well - even a little too much.

But I noticed Prajna's wording, he said "still".

The person in front of me was still looking at me, not at Prajna who was leaning at the classroom door.

The air conditioner in the classroom was blowing wind, which made my skin get goosebumps.

How long has Prajna been standing at the door?

Now is the party after the junior high school exams. It was originally held in a few classrooms next door, but because it happened to be on the same day as the seniors’ graduation party, the teacher allowed us to use all the empty classrooms.

There were only Archie and I in this empty classroom—he was obviously a second-year student, but as a junior high school graduate, he forced me to the desk.

I just lost my mind for a while and ended up like this. Anyway, it was my fault first, so I'd better apologize first.

"I'm sorry for making you worry, I'm fine."

I slowly straightened my body, eliminating his dominance a little bit, until my hands were freed from the desk behind me, and then I stood up, changing from almost sitting on the desk to leaning.

A Che breathed a sigh of relief: "It's okay."

"But, I'm really sorry about what you just said." I said with an apologetic smile. Although I couldn't remember exactly what he said, it was still right to apologize.

What else would he say when he opened his mouth?

"Don't worry, I will think about it carefully."

Archer paused for a moment, then looked at Prajna next to him. I took advantage of this gap and walked a few steps to the desk closest to the door.

"Okay." Ache moved his eyes to me, "Senior, please consider it carefully. I will contact you again."

...it’s better to say goodbye.

"Thank you for your concern." I smiled, "Then I'll contact you again."

After saying that, I walked towards the door. Prajna at the door automatically moved out of the way, and when I walked out of the classroom, he immediately followed me.

"Senior Azi is really popular~" Hannya said to me in his usual cute tone, "I remember that he is one of the most popular boys in the second grade."

I took out my mobile phone from my pocket, followed him through the shadow cast by the wall, nodded thoughtfully and said, "That's it."

"Are you just answering your deskmate so plainly?" Prajna was somewhat dissatisfied, "A~Zi~senior~"

His last sentence was imitating A Che's tone, which sounded like coquettishness.

Even though I was used to him being like this, I couldn't help but tremble in my heart, and then said without changing my expression: "Yeah."

He took a step forward, stood in front of me, and looked at me: "Then why did he come to you?"

His eyes wandered, and finally stopped on my mobile phone.

here we go again……

I closed the phone and put it in my pocket and said, "I don't remember either."

"real?"

"real."

"Hey - what if it's something important?" He said in a long voice, with a serious expression on his beautiful face, and held my shoulders with both hands.

"……Eh?"

"When a boy asks a girl out to a place where no one is around, it's usually a confession. If that's the case, if you don't respond well, it will be troublesome."

"But, Hannya-san, haven't you been listening at the door?" I was half-convinced, because I thought it was impossible for a girl like me to attract the attention of a boy. Besides...it didn't seem like Ache would say this.

The person who talks.

"I'm just passing by." Prajna looked at me innocently.

"Is that so...I'm sorry. But Archie doesn't look like a child who can confess his love. He has been studying hard."

"Some people can't be judged by their appearance." Prajna continued, "Ah, it turns out that child's name is Ache... Hmm, senior Azi's confession to that child was very perfunctory. Maybe he had prepared it for several days

God’s will, but in the end, I got this kind of response from senior..."

"No..." I wanted to retort but was interrupted.

"Don't you think Azi is perfunctory?"

"A little bit..." I answered guiltily, because it was just perfunctory.

"It's not Azi's fault. After all, Azi has never dated anyone else." Prajna let go of his hand and smiled, "Then Azi, if I confess to you now, what should you do?"

"...But this kind of thing is impossible, right?" After Hannya said something, I was a little worried about Ache being perfunctory by me, "Hannya is also the most popular in the third grade..."

"That's why I said, if so, just treat it as a free exercise I gave you and give it a try." Prajna looked at me sincerely.

"What's the point of this meaningless exercise..." I sighed, "You tell me."

"Classmate Azi, I like you, please date me!"

As expected of a genius in the third grade, Prajna spoke very naturally and sincerely. For a moment, I felt like I was about to fall into his beautiful eyes.

After a moment of silence, I said seriously: "Well, classmate Prajna, thank you. I have received your thoughts, but..."

What is the best reason to refuse... Go and confess your love to the person you like. It will be sad to be rejected no matter what. At least let others know that you have given it serious consideration... In this case, just say it directly.

Just one sentence is enough.

"But, I don't like Hannya-kun. And I'm not worthy of Hannya-kun at all. Hannya-kun is so good, and he will definitely meet a better girl."

Prajna didn't seem to react, but he didn't seem to express dissatisfaction. It seems that I still have the talent to consider other people's thoughts well.

Prajna glanced at me, but his expression was a little weird: "Is this how you answer?"

"Is there any better response than this? Okay, after such a long delay, everyone probably has to take pictures. I'm leaving first."

I bypassed him and continued walking towards the classroom where the party was held.

"Wait a minute -" Prajna stopped me from behind.

I turned around and saw his familiar smile.

"Anything else?"

"Where are you going to high school?"

"……I do not know."

"That's it." Prajna put on the headphones and showed a rebellious smile, "I won't take pictures anymore and go home first. Also, Ah Zi, you are really an idiot. See you later."

"Eh?"

But Prajna ignored my question and turned around and waved.

Because I didn't know what to say to leave him, I could only go back to the classroom where the party was held. The classroom was still full of joy. I opened the door, and a gust of cold wind blew away, blowing away the stuffy heat that had just been brought from outside.

Summer is really a difficult season.

"Where have you been? What took you so long?" Jinyu Ji was sitting at the door, eating a bag of potato chips by herself. When she saw me, her cheeks immediately bulged, "Really, Kaguya

Forget it Ji, she said she wanted to see Wannian Bamboo, but you actually left me alone."

"Sorry, I went out for a while and came back late."

She was even more unhappy with my apology so quickly and simply stopped talking to me.

When taking pictures, there were no steps so we had to use the table to take pictures - but in fact, the graduation photos had been taken long ago. This was just a spontaneous activity by our students. There were even students who did not come because they did poorly in the exam.

When I heard that the class was going to have a party, I really didn’t want to come. But Jinyu Ji insisted on dragging me along, saying that it was very meaningful, but in fact, she just wanted to come to eat.

Looking at the crowd dispersing, I put on my headphones and stared blankly at the sun still hanging in the sky in the distance.

If I can't find a job that can make some money this summer, let alone studying, I will also have to worry about the water and electricity bills at home. However, the application messages I sent out fell flat and there was no response at all.

"Hey, where are you going to go to high school?" Jinyu Ji was a little dissatisfied, "Is it because you don't have enough money to study?"

I reached out and took out an apple from the bag she was holding and said, "Well, you're right."

"Then you stubbornly refused help from others." Jinyu Ji pouted and said, "If you don't go to high school, will you still be able to find a job in the future?"

I held the apple and thought for a while, then looked at her and replied seriously: "Probably."

"No, no, no, let's go to high school, okay?" Jinyu Ji suddenly changed her attitude, shook her head hurriedly and said, "What do you think, in case you need to use English or something in the future?"

"Hmm...that makes sense."
