Chapter 12 The Twisted Man and the Altar(1/2)

It is hung above the altar, with bones piled at its feet.

She woke up from her coma and saw that her companion's body was already kneeling on the ground.

He whined, and his hands were crushed into blood.

There was anger in her heart, but the moment she reached for her waist, her anger suddenly stopped.

"The gun is still there? The gun is still there!"

Her eyes suddenly changed and she looked at Chen Qing in front of her: "Why!"

"Why!"

He laughed shrilly and squirmed on the ground.

"Shoot? If you have the ability, just shoot!"

"you……"

Before she finished speaking, the officiant in red walked out from behind Jiang Wan.

In the shadow, behind the cross, he walked quietly, past the gunfire in Jiang Wan's hand, and walked straight to the front where its rifling pointed.

"The officiant...the officiant."

He murmured, his arms unable to lift were waving at his feet.

"You haven't fulfilled our agreement yet."

He whispered, his voice was very thick, not like a woman's voice.

Jiang Wan's face changed again: "Chen Qing! Do you really want to go all the way to darkness?!"

"Promise..."

"Yes. You haven't completed our agreement yet."

"Yes, you have to die."

The officiant knelt down, and his face under the black robe was revealed in front of Chen Qing.

"I have to die."

He looked into the other person's eyes, and the pain dissipated at this moment.

"Chen Qing!"

She raised her gun and pointed it at the two people present.

"When you killed those sacrifices, weren't you very capable of doing so?"

The officiant smiled.

"Why are you pretending to be a good person now?"

"Sacrifice..."

Jiang Wan was stunned for a moment: "Dead?"

He turned around and stepped on Chen Qing's foot on the ground. The terrifying force shattered the altar in an instant and trampled his chest to pieces.

"Chen Qing!"

"What a good plan." He said with a smile, but it made people shudder.

"A total of one hundred and twenty people died overnight." He looked at Jiang Wan approaching step by step: "But I have to say that your decision was very effective...

Three months of savings were all wasted."

He walked up to Jiang Wan and pressed his chest against the gun.

"You guys really deserve to die."

He smiled and already held the barrel of the gun in his right hand.

"Come on, shoot."

He took a deep breath, and a gunshot that tore through the night sky echoed in the secret room.

She pulled the trigger, and the smoke and gunfire proved it all.

She pulled the trigger, but the symphony of blood and fire did not appear.

She turned pale and he was stunned.

He looked at the several inches of wounds on his chest, but those wounds were definitely not caused by bullets.

"Blanks?"

The officiant looked at his wounds for a moment, and then he laughed.

"How merciful."

"How could...what happened?"

He looked at Chen Qing behind him, approaching Jiang Wan step by step, and walked forward from the operating bed.

"But look...am I hurt?"

She looked at the blood before it even flowed to the ground, and the rolled-up strips of flesh had already filled the few inches of the wound.

She was stunned, but then she saw Chen Qing struggling to get up not far away.

Feeling sick in her heart, she took out a sharp blade from behind her back, the same blade that completed the brain exchange ritual.

"You can't kill me..."

He whispered: "But you can kill your partner...kill him and we will let you go."

"You're dreaming..."

"Don't worry... As long as you kill him, we will make you forget everything when you leave. You see, everything will be as if it never happened. Everything is fine. Why waste your life in vain."

Before the officiant finished speaking, the sharp blade in Jiang Wan's hand had already been swung out, but the blade was only halfway through the swing when it was firmly stuck on his shoulder blade.

He didn't resist, he didn't dodge.

He still had the girl's weapon fall on him, and soon after, the muscles on his shoulder sprouted, and an irresistible force pushed her blade away from his shoulder.

"Look...you don't have a choice."

He whispered, his blood-stained palm already holding Jiang Wan's arm holding the handle of the knife.

He stroked it slightly and pulled the blade off.

"Kill him... complete the ritual and I will let you go."

But at the moment when she was looking at the officiant's pupils and she was beginning to lose consciousness, a gunshot woke her up again.

"What...what's going on!"

When she came to her senses, she saw a wound as big as a bowl on the chest of the priest in front of her.

She looked through the wound and saw the man standing behind the officiant.

The man who clearly fell to the ground looked like a dead dog.

She saw...two Chen Qings.

"He can't take action against 'me' because there is a mark on 'me' that belongs to this organization."

She looked even more frightened when she heard the familiar voice.

She saw Chen Qing pick up the knife from the ground, saw him walk up to "Chen Qing", and saw him cut off the other person's face with a happy smile on his face.

"Because the ritual must continue, he needs to let you kill myself. That's why you can live until now."

She didn't understand, and her mind was filled with astonishment.

"What the hell happened! Who the hell are you?!"

She roared, her expression a little broken.

"Me? I am who I am."

"But I lied to you a lot." He smiled, looking at the bishop in front of him whose injuries had gradually healed, and pointed the gun in his hand at him again.

"You've done a good job raising dogs. Even though you're like this, the people below don't dare to come up."

"boom!"

There was another gunshot, and his left hand was broken.

"Tsk, the homemade flintlock device really doesn't work."

Chen Qing shook his head and walked to the spot where he had been standing before.

There, there was an operating bed stained with blood.

He sat there and took out a knife from his pocket.

Jiang Wan was stunned, watching the sharp blade fly towards Chen Qing on the ground.

He didn't even have time to cry out after this stabbing.
