Chapter 316(2/2)

"Jimmy, thank you for everything you have done for us." When leaving, Father Holden specially thanked Jimmy.

Jimmy: "You're welcome, that's right. I haven't thanked you for the exorcism you performed for me last time."

Father Horton took out a small box from his pocket: "This is for you as a souvenir. I made it myself."

Jimmy opened the box, and inside was a small cross pendant. The pendant on the necklace was very small, only about 3cm in length.

Jimmy closed the lid, "Thank you, Father Holden. I'll go back first. If there's nothing else here, I need to rush back to New York."

Jimmy returned to the Dallas office. Lambert briefly asked about the results. He looked at the time and said, "Jimmy, your matter is over. Father Horton will handle the rest. You can now think about the next step."

What are you going to do in the next few days?"

Jimmy's eyes lit up: "The next few days?"

Lambert: "Well, I'm applying for a secondment for two weeks. Go ahead."

Jimmy: "Thank you, Director Lambert. I'll go back first."

Jimmy left the office quite unexpectedly. He originally thought he would rush back to New York immediately, but now it only took 4 or 5 days to get this done. Wouldn't that mean he has another day off? After thinking about it, Jimmy decided to call

Frank's call, Tom just strictly prohibited himself from contacting the training center and the Counter-Terrorism Bureau. Now that he has time, it would be good to see how retired CIA agents work.

It's no wonder that Jimmy is impulsive now. The main reason is that he already knows that his CIA identity is in the Stumbling Block project, and he will always have to deal with them later. He may also experience Frank being cleaned up by the CIA assassination team, and Tom's dragon will be seen.

No end in sight, the only person who has some connection with them is Frank. With my current ability, as long as I'm careful, there should be no problem.

Jimmy: "Hi, how's it going over there?"

Frank: "What's the matter?"

Jimmy: "Ah, give me a call to confirm. Have you checked the remaining two people?"

Frank: "Gabriel Singer is dead."

Jimmy: "Oh, where are you? I need to confirm something with you."

Frank: "I'm very busy right now, can we talk about it later?"

Jimmy: "Please, you are challenging them now. What if something unexpected happens? Let's meet first."

Frank: "Okay, we should be able to get to DC tonight. Come over if it's convenient for you."

Jimmy: "OK, I'm leaving now."

In the evening, Jimmy came to Washington, DC. He wore sunglasses and a cowboy hat the whole time, and kept himself well-dressed. He used the fake identity he had hidden when he was a county police officer in Little Rock to rent a car. Jimmy drove to a roadside restaurant and ate.

Dinner, waiting for Frank's announcement.

Jimmy left the restaurant, parked the car in an open space, sat in the car with his eyes closed, and waited for Frank's arrival. But he was not so lucky to rest. In just 2 hours, Jimmy had already scared away two waves of people trying to pry the car door.

Idiot, because there were no lights around, and Jimmy didn't turn on his headlights, the people who came to pry the door couldn't see anyone inside the car. Jimmy had to point his gun at the window to scare them away, otherwise it would really be possible to steal from the car.

The car turned into a robbery.

A car drove up from a distance and stopped next to Jimmy. Jimmy and Frank got out of the car. There was someone else in the car, but because of the lights, Jimmy couldn't see who it was.

Jimmy: "Frank, are you driving here from Arizona?"

Frank: "Of course, someone is following my whereabouts now. It's best to drive. What do you have to say to me in person?"

Jimmy gestured, and the two of them moved away from the car, "Frank, do you remember the name Tom Kodesky?"

Frank didn't speak, but looked at Jimmy. He was far away from the car and only had a little moonlight, so it was hard to see his expression clearly.

Frank: "What's your relationship with him? How could you possibly know him?"

Jimmy: "Well, he trained me."

Frank: "Are you a CIA too?"

Jimmy coughed: "I neither admit nor deny it."

Frank: "You are indeed the CIA. Of course I remember Kordesky. I trained him. But he should be dead. I heard before that he had an accident while on a mission."

Jimmy: "Do you remember him?"

Frank: "It seems he should have learned from Marvin. Where is he?"

Jimmy: "I don't know, but I can let you know after he contacts me."

Frank: "Well, that's it?"

Jimmy: "Well, mainly for this matter, and also because I happened to be on vacation recently. Do you think..."

Frank shook his head: "It's too dangerous. You'd better go back."

Jimmy: "Since we have known each other for so long, let me join in and learn from the seniors."

Frank: "Can you get into Langley?"

Jimmy shook his head and waved his hand at the same time: "No, I am currently in a latent state and cannot actively activate my identity. There will be big problems."

Frank looked at Jimmy and said nothing. Jimmy also knew that he was thinking and did not interrupt him. Finally, Frank nodded and said, "Follow from a distance and don't get involved."

The two returned to the car, and an old man got out of Frank's car and said, "Oh, Mr. Bright, long time no see."

Frank: "That's Marvin, the Marvin on that list."

Jimmy turned to look at Frank: "He has been dead in the system for a few years." Then he turned to look at Marvin: "Marvin, I can't believe it."

Frank: "Okay, we're leaving." Marvin didn't say anything and went directly back to the co-pilot.

Jimmy nodded. Since Frank didn't say where he was going, he just drove and followed them from a distance. Frank must have a plan anyway.
