Chapter 238 TCM for Lung Cancer

Chapter 238 Traditional Chinese Medicine for Lung Cancer

The young woman helped the patient sit down before she slowly sat down.

Huang Su carefully looked at the man's face. Judging from the outline of the nose, he should have been a handsome guy in the past. Now his face is covered with bumpy rashes, with many broken rashes on his face and blood flowing. His lips are blue-purple, and there are many ulcerated wounds around his lips. The front position on the top of his head is semi-bald. His scalp can be clearly seen with his sparse hair.

The man gritted his teeth and endured great pain every time he breathed, biting his lips tightly.

Judging from the symptoms of a man, flavin is probably concluded that the man has lung cancer.

If there is a cancer that is the most tormenting body and soul, it must be lung cancer. Lung cancer patients endure huge pain every time they breathe, especially the pain in middle and late stage patients is even more violent.

"Huixiu! Give my medical record to the doctor."

In just thirteen words, the patient seemed to have used up all his body. Every time he said a word, he gritted his teeth tightly and endured great pain. However, the sound of the words he said was as thin as a mosquito and flies, neither breathing nor powerless.

Huang Su took the medical record and various X-rays handed over by the man's wife, and looked at the man's painful look and told him: "Patient, please stop talking, just sit there and rest. I will ask your family if you have anything."

Fei Su looked down at the patient's medical records. Sure enough, the man had taken a period of imatinib.

The most popular new anti-cancer drug is the newest anti-cancer drug that has just been launched. It seems that the man can keep up with the latest medical trends and has the financial resources to support taking such expensive drugs.

When Feisu was looking at the medical records, a woman named Huixiu began to talk about the patient's condition.

"Director Huang! My name is Chen Huixiu, and my husband is Liang Guoan. We are from Coal and Coal Capital. Our family is in the coal mine business. My husband usually works in the coal mine. He used to be coughing, and we didn't take it seriously. You also know that the environment in the coal mine has a lot of dust. You think coughing is a normal situation affected by the environment. Just February of the previous year, he started to have chest tightness, pain, shortness of breath and coughing sputum. We went to the hospital for examination and found out that it was cancer after biopsy."

As he spoke, Chen Huixiu began to choke again.

Coal Province and the Northeast, especially Black Province, have always been a high incidence of lung cancer in China. Coal Province is mainly due to the developed coal mining industry, which leads to serious air pollution. The Northeast is a high incidence of lung disease due to the cold weather.

Chen Huixiu took out a tissue from her bag and began to wipe the tears in her eyes, continuing to tell her husband's condition.

"Since I learned that my husband had lung cancer, we have tried all the methods, and we did chemotherapy, but the effect was not ideal. Later, I heard that a new foreign drug called targeted drug was developed by foreigners. We specially asked a friend to buy it back from the Ugly Kingdom, but after taking it, there was no effect. Instead, the face grew like this and the person was aged in his teens."

When the targeted drugs were first introduced, they were advocated by domestic and foreign media as magical drugs for anti-cancer. However, imatinib can be effective for gastrointestinal stromal tumors and acute lymphocytic leukemia, but the effect is not ideal for lung cancer. If it can truly treat lung cancer, it will have to wait for the targeted drugs such as erlotinib that were later developed. This is also a sudden increase in their treatment.

Looking at Huang Su, Chen Huixiu suddenly grabbed Huang Su's arm excitedly and said, "Director Huang, we heard that you have a very good cancer treatment. In order to rank your number, we have been ranking for more than two months. After ranking your number, we came from coal to the grassland city to find you as quickly as possible. You must save my husband."

Chen Huixiu said tears flowed down again as she spoke.

When they heard that there were actually people from across provinces coming to Huang Su for treatment, the three review expert groups next to them also looked at each other with shocked expressions.

At first they also thought that Burigoud was exaggerating. As a member of the hospital's rating expert group, every time they reviewed such things, each hospital had exaggerated. When looking at Huang Su's age, they felt that Burigoud was exaggerating. In addition, natural sense of superiority to traditional Chinese medicine, it was expected that he would sneer in the other party's clinic.

"Family, calm down and wait until I finish reading the patient's medical record first. Don't worry, our doctor will do our best to treat every patient."

To calm Chen Huixiu's emotions, Huang Su picked up the patient's film and checked it out.

I saw that the patient had shadows in the middle and outside of the right lung, and there were burrs around the lungs. A uniform density increase shadow could be seen in the lower part of the chest cavity, and the diaphragm shadow was covered, and the chest cavity showed obvious pleural effusion shadows, and the effusion shadow showed an arc-shaped shadow higher than the inner part of the lungs.

Flavin put down the film and said, "Patient, this is pleural effusion."

Sixty percent of patients with advanced lung cancer have complications of pleural effusion.

When the pleural effusion volume is less than 300 milliliters, there is no positive finding for chest X-rays. When the pleural effusion is more than 500 milliliters, the costopharyngeal angle can be seen dull. When moderate effusion is reached, a uniform density increase shadow can be seen in the lower part of the thoracic cavity, the diaphragm shadow is covered, and the upper edge of the effusion shadow is high on the outer side and low on the inner side. When severe pleural effusion is caused, most of the patient's lung lobes are uniform and dense shadows, the diaphragm shadow is covered, and the patient's mediastinum is displaced to the healthy side.

"have!"

Chen Huixiu nodded heavily.

If lung cancer is a double torture to the patient's physical and soul, lung cancer patients suffering from pleural effusion will increase this torture several times.

Pleural hydration can cause dyspnea and is the most common symptom, because the lungs are squeezed by pleural hydration, the lung capacity is reduced, the chest wall movement is limited, and the diaphragm movement is limited.

People with pleural swelling, although they live in the air, their lungs are soaked in water, and every minute and every second feel like they are drowning.

This can also explain why the patient's lips are cyanobacterial, which is caused by pleural fluid squeezing the lungs and hypoxia.

"Stretch out your hand and I'll take my pulse." Huang Su put down the film on his hand and said to Liang Anguo.

Liang Anguo put his hand on the meridian pillow, and put his three fingers on the three parts of the Cun Guan and Chi. He touched the wrist bone with his three fingers. He felt that the pulse was as thin as a silk thread and weak, and the right Cun pulse was like a bead, which was strong and intermittent and could not be maintained.

The deep and thin pulse is the pulse of qi and blood deficiency, and the right pulsation appears and the pulse is vigorous and intermittent. This is the lungs with phlegm and fluid, and the force and intermittent pulse is one of the common pulses of tumors and nodules.

That Risong put three fingers on Liang Anguo's left hand to take his pulse. Since he decided to develop into traditional Chinese medicine tumors, he became particularly attentive to the tumor patients who came to consult each time.

After diagnosing the pulse of Liang Anguo's hands, Feng Su continued: "Stretch out his tongue and I'll take a look at the tongue coating."

Liang Anguo's tongue was pale red, with a little ecchymia on both sides of his tongue. The heart and lung reflex area at the front of his tongue was slightly more ecchymia. The tongue coating was white and thick and greasy, almost covering the entire tongue. This is the reflection of the pleural fluid in the tongue. If there is no pleural fluid, the tongue coating will still be white and thick, but the whole coating will not appear.

Huang Su lowered his hand and asked, "How about eating or defecation?"

Chen Huixiu replied: "He felt so painful that he could not eat anything else. As for his defecation, he often had diarrhea."

Fei Su continued to ask: "You may have hemoptysis when you cough."

Chen Huixiu replied: "Just occasionally hemoptysis, there will be no more blood."

Feng Su nodded and continued to ask: "What color is the phlegm usually? It's sticky or not."

"The phlegm is white and very sticky." Chen Huixiu asked anxiously: "Director Huang, is there any help for my husband's lung cancer?"

"Family, don't worry." Huang Su comforted Chen Huixiu and began to explain the condition: "Your husband's lung cancer is a symptom of phlegm and stasis in our traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment is mainly to strengthen the spleen and eliminate phlegm, remove blood stasis and relieve pain. First, strengthen the body's positive energy and then add Chinese medicine to inhibit tumors, so as to achieve a two-pronged approach."

In traditional Chinese medicine, lung cancer can be roughly divided into three symptoms: lung dryness and body fluid damage, phlegm and blood stasis syndrome, and qi and yin deficiency syndrome.

Huang Su carefully asked the patient about the status of the phlegm, which was also to confirm the symptoms. After all, phlegm is the main symptom of lung disease.

Zhang Jingyue, a great master of the Ming Dynasty, once said: Lung accumulation is mainly due to deficiency of positive qi, disordered yin and yang, evil poisons take advantage of the deficiency and enter the lungs, the lungs lose their vitality, poor blood circulation, poor fluid circulation, and accumulation of fluids, and fluid accumulation. Phlegm congestion and stagnation of qi and blood stasis blocks the meridians, causing phlegm, qi, blood stasis and poison to be cemented, and over time, lung accumulation occurs.

Therefore, the formation of lung cancer is inseparable from deficiency, depression, phlegm and blood stasis.

Pulmonary accumulation is the earliest Chinese medicine understanding of lung cancer.

In "The Origin of Miscellaneous Diseases, Rhinoceros Candles, Accumulation of the Origin of Miscellaneous Diseases", a sensible discussion on the pathological mechanism of lung cancer: "Evil accumulates in the chest, blocks the qi, does not spread, and makes phlegm, food and blood, all of which can fight against the right. Once the evil wins, the right cannot be controlled, and then form forms and has blocks."

Often, patients with lung cancer will have obvious hard tumors on their necks and chests.

Let’s talk about phlegm. People with dry lung fluid injury have dry cough without phlegm; phlegm and stasis are intertwined, and phlegm will be white and sticky and have few blood. If it is a symptom of blood stasis, the phlegm will increase blood and the blood will be dark and red. People with both Qi and Yin deficiency are mostly coughing, less phlegm or less phlegm and blood.

The symptoms of phlegm and dampness are divided into two types: spleen and liver.

The disease is on the spleen because phlegm and dampness are produced from the spleen and stomach, and are trapped in the lungs, blocking the qi mechanism, and the lung qi is not good. Therefore, cough, phlegm is white and sticky, chest and abdomen are discontinued, dampness is trapped in the spleen, and the transportation is dereliction of duty, so there is little or no stool. The qi and blood are not produced enough, and the body is not nourished, so the spirit is tired and strong. The tongue is pale and white and greasy, and the pulse is moist and slippery, which are all symptoms of phlegm and dampness.

The disease is caused by internal trauma of emotions, stagnation of liver qi, and the upper reversal of the lungs, and the lung qi is stagnant, resulting in coughing, chest tightness and shortness of breath. Qi stagnation and blood circulation are not smooth, and blood stasis is stagnant, so chest pain has a fixed place, such as a cone or thorn, phlegm and blood are dark red, lips and lips are dark. The tongue is dark or ecchymn, thin and stringy, or thin and astringent, which is a sign of stagnation of qi and blood.

Liang Anguo's family will not suffer from liver disease. Instead, because he is a boss, he has a lot of social engagements and irregular diet, which can easily damage his spleen.

However, whether the disease is on the spleen or on the liver, it is a syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis. The treatment methods are to strengthen the spleen and eliminate phlegm, remove blood stasis and relieve pain. Trichosanthes kirilowii Saccharin Banxia Decoction is used to treat it.

In Chen Hui's narration of the condition, Liang Anguo had symptoms of chest tightness and pain, shortness of breath and cough, and less appetite. Those with obvious chest pain can be combined with Wei Lingxian, Yu Jin, etc. to regulate qi and unblock the meridians, promote blood circulation and relieve pain; less appetite, shortness of breath and loose stools, add Astragalus, Codonopsis, and Atractylodes macrocephala to replenish qi and strengthen the spleen.

In addition, Liang Anguo has severe pleural effusion and pleural effusion, you can add cypress, duckweed, albicans, safflower, safflower, chesto, pigling, dragon safflower, mole cricket, etc.

After clearing his thoughts, Huang Su said: "He Huiji's formula: 15g melon skin, 10g saccharomyceae, 6g pepper, 15g sausage ginseng, 10g garlic leaves, 30g reed roots, 30g raw coix seed, 20g almond kernels, 5g peach kernels, 10g raw semen yellow (package), 5g hive, 15g white turtle shell (fry first), 10g turtle shell (fry first), 30g Houttuynia cordata, 10g sarcophagus cordata, 10g terrestrial dragon, 10g mouse woman, 6g Jiuxiang insect, 30g raw astragalus, 30g hemum, 5g hemum, 30g half-length lotus, 10g raw licorice, 15g grass carp, 15g sarcophagus 15g, 10g duckweed, 10g albicans, 10g fried cart (frying) 10g."

This case is caused by phlegm and turbidity blocking the lungs and unfavorable preservation. Qi is blocked by phlegm and blood stasis, and phlegm and blood stasis are intertwined and blocked the airway. Clinically, chest tightness, shortness of breath, cough and vomiting of white phlegm.

Treatment is to eliminate phlegm and smooth qi, remove blood stasis and unblock meridians. Use melon to atrophy skin, scalyptus white, and pepper to open chest yang; reed root, raw coix seed, almond, peach kernel, plus loquat leaves to eliminate phlegm and stasis; insect drugs such as worms detoxify and fight cancer, soften and disperse nodules; produce Puhuang, hive and turtle shell to remove blood stasis and produce new blood; Sijunzi Decoction combined with astragalus to enhance the effect of invigorating qi and strengthening the body; use cypress phyton, duckweed, albicans, and prenatal seeds to penetrate dampness and clear water in the abdomen.

He Hui handed the prescription to Feisu. After Huang Su carefully examined it, he handed the prescription to Chen Huixiu and said, "You will go through the hospitalization procedures today. Tomorrow we will do a fiber bronchoscopy to see the specific condition of the tumor and prepare for subsequent physical recovery chemotherapy. Drink this medicine once every two days; decoct each dose twice, decoct a total of 400 ml together, twice a day, take 100 ml orally, and first half a month. When the patient recovers, we will formulate the next treatment plan."

"Director Huang, thank you, thank you so much!"

Chen Huixiu took the prescription with tears in her eyes, stood up and bowed to Huang Su to thank him.

The reputation of treating tumors with flavin can prescribe a prescription for your husband, which is his life-saving medicine. How can Chen Huixiu not be excited?

Seeing his wife's excited look, Liang Anguo also tried his best and staggered to thank him.

Huang Su hurriedly stopped Liang Anguo's actions, held him back to his seat and said, "If you are weak, don't get up."

At this time, Chen Huixiu calmed down and asked, "Director Huang, you have prescribed the prescription now. Do you still need to continue taking the targeted medicine my husband takes?"

Feisu knew that imatinib had little effect on lung cancer and said, "Targeted drugs can stop, mainly the medicine I prescribe for you. Tomorrow I will formulate a dietary therapy prescription, which should be treated with traditional Chinese medicine."

Chen Huixiu bowed again and said, "Thank you, Dr. Huang!"

Chen Huixiu helped her husband walk out of the clinic slowly.

Seeing the patient walk out of the clinic, Mr. Yang walked up to him and said, "Doctor Huang, we will select this lung cancer patient as an inspection case. Do you see if you have any opinions."

Huang Su still kept a distance from office and said, "Our Chinese Medicine Department will fully cooperate with the work of the review expert group."

Seeing that he had hit a soft nail again, Mr. Yang said embarrassedly: "Since we have chosen the inspection case, we will not disturb Dr. Huang's work."

As he said that, Mr. Yang led the two men from the medical team to make the clinic.

When he walked out of the clinic, the doctor who had just ridiculed Huang Su said angrily: "Old Yang, look at his attitude. When will the Chinese medicine doctor dare to ride on our heads and shit. I applied to inspect the patient with gum hair. I don't believe in the disease that our Western medicine can't treat. The Chinese medicine doctor has a way. If it cannot be cured, their city hospital will not be ranked as the top three."

"Doctor Lai, I know you are a doctor of medicine who has returned from studying in the United States. You are very confident in your medical skills, but don't underestimate the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine. After all, he has been passed down for more than 3,000 years." Old Yang stared at Dr. Lai and said.

Dr. Lai looked dissatisfied and did not reply to Mr. Yang's words. He still had a contemptuous expression on his face, and the corners of his mouth raised to one side, revealing a sneering face.

Seeing that Dr. Lai didn't listen, Mr. Yang sighed and shook his back and walked out of the corridor of the Chinese medicine department.

It seems that the three people in the clinic have a collective dark face. Some are ashamed, while others are angry.
