Chapter 53 The Grand Banquet(1/2)

"Sister Tian'er, why are you here?"

Xia Tian slowly raised his head, his eyes blurred, and it took him a while to see the three people in front of him clearly.

"You are here," she said, and then lowered her heavy head.

"Have you been drinking?" Jin Yan sat down and turned over the bottles on the table one by one, "Drink them all!"

Xia Tian nodded and said, "Didn't you say his spicy skewers are delicious?"

Zhang Fei touched her forehead and asked worriedly: "Are you okay? Are you drunk?"

Xia Tian raised her head suddenly, and felt a numbness on the back of her neck. She raised her hand and rubbed it, and smiled unnaturally: "I'm not drunk."

Zhang Fei and Chengze also sat down. Chengze looked at Xia Tian uneasily. Her mobile phone was placed on the table. At this time, a call came in.

Jin Yan picked up: "Hey——"

Hearing Jin Yan's voice, Xia Xi hung up the phone.

The name Xia Xi labeled Xia Xi was: Him.

Jin Yan stared at the phone and said in confusion: "Why did you hang up?"

"Show me whose phone number it is." Xia Tian wanted to take the phone and stretched out his arm to wave it in front of Jin Yan.

"Sister, why are you drinking so much?" Jin Yan pressed Xia Tian's arm.

"Not much, just two bottles of beer." Xia Tian said.

"You usually only have one bottle, are you in trouble?" Jin Yan asked.

Xia Tian's eyes were filled with tears. He stared straight at the skewers on the table that he had only eaten one bite. He pursed his lips and shook his head.

Zhang Fei knocked on the table lightly, and when Jin Yan looked at him, he asked in a very low voice: "Are you broken up in love?"

Jin Yan said firmly: "No..."

Jin Yan started to think about it. She didn't go home even during the holidays. She also said that she was working outside. On Christmas Eve, she went to chase a food delivery boy. She still hasn't told her who that person was. Plus, the suspicious conversation just now

Telephone……

"Impossible." Jin Yan obviously lost her confidence, "Let's not talk about it for now. Let's order the skewers. I'm hungry."

Xia Tian held her chin with one hand and looked around. The surroundings were noisy like a big night market. This fried food store had the most people, maybe they were all here to see Cheng Ze, she thought.

After a while, the waiter brought over a lot of fried skewers. The aromas of spicy, Orleans, and cumin were mixed together, stimulating the taste buds.

"What to drink? Beer-" Zhang Fei paused, "Coke?"

Xia Tian had a drunken smile on her lips, folded her arms and said, "No one can drink Coke in Lu Chuan. Oh, I understand, because of my relationship, you can't drink..."

She stood up unsteadily, took a deep breath and said, "Understood, I'll leave now and won't hinder you."

"Oh, sister, please sit down." Jin Yan pressed her down, "You're acting a little weird these days. It's not like..." She glanced at Chengze carefully, "It's not like you're really reunited with your ex-boyfriend.

Alright?"

Jin Yan wanted to use this drinking power to make Xia Tian tell the truth.

Xia Tian burst into laughter.

I found my second brother, and I was deceived.

A voice in her head told her, just tell her like this, and she wouldn't be depressed if she told her. How uncomfortable it is to hide a secret in your heart. Aren't you always looking for opportunities to reveal it to others?

Xia Tian raised her hand and fanned her ears, as if to drive away mosquitoes. She was not drunk enough to talk nonsense.

"I'm sorry, Chengze is sorry." Xia Tian suddenly looked at Chengze, and the tears finally flowed down.

To apologize at this time, in their view, was more like admitting Jin Yan's suspicion.

Jin Yan and Zhang Fei looked at Cheng Ze in panic. Zhang Fei was afraid that Cheng Ze would get sick, so he pressed 120 on his mobile phone, ready to call at any time.

Unexpectedly, Chengze just smiled gently. He stretched out his hand to wipe away Xia Tian's tears and said, "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I just drank wine and didn't eat anything, right?"

Xia Tian nodded obediently.

Zhang Fei and Jin Yan looked at each other and couldn't believe that Cheng Ze would react like this.

Zhang Fei said: "Then eat quickly, waiter, bring me a dozen beers and a bottle of sour plum soup."

The meal was extremely quiet, with Zhang Fei, Jin Yan, and Chengze each thinking about their own affairs.

After drinking the sour plum soup, Xia Tian sobered up a little. He looked around, seeing people coming and going, and the noise was close to his ears. He recalled what happened in the afternoon, as if it was as far away as a lifetime ago.

She picked up her phone and saw several calls from Xia Xi and WeChat messages from Jin Yan, as well as messages from Xia Xi saying that he had found a job. She looked at several houses and decided to choose one among them.

"My brother is also working hard to live, I can't hold him back." Xia Tian secretly decided to find a part-time job tomorrow and redeem the bracelet.

"I'm sober. Come in quickly and let's go." Zhang Fei and Chengze took them to the door of the dormitory building and watched them go in before leaving.

"Is she really having emotional problems?" Zhang Fei asked on the way back to the dormitory.

"Who knows?" Cheng Ze said indifferently.

"But you surprised me." Zhang Fei tilted his head and looked at Chengze, as if he wanted to peek into his inner world through those blue eyes, but unfortunately he failed. "Based on what I know about you, you should laugh.

That’s right.”

"You want me to get sick?" Chengze asked willfully.

"How is that possible?" Zhang Fei smiled, "The half-term psychology class was not in vain."

Chengze sighed softly: "I can bear it for the time being. Who made me like her? I really like her."

Zhang Fei shook his upper body as if he was electrocuted: "My scalp is numb."

Chengze suddenly raised his long legs like a cartoon and kicked him sideways, but Zhang Fei quickly dodged it.

"Save your strength to kick your love rival." Zhang Fei said mischievously.

"Is there really such a person?" Chengze put away his attacking posture and murmured.

"If so, what are you going to do?" Zhang Fei asked.

"Even if Tiantian marries someone else, I don't want to give up on her," Chengze said.

"Seducing her into cheating?" Zhang Fei asked with eyes wide open, as if he was blaming him.

"Yeah." Cheng Ze replied confidently.

"It's not good for you to be like this. Also, please express your anger when you feel angry, and ask questions when you have questions. If you deliberately suppress negative emotions, you will explode in the future." Zhang Fei reminded.

How could Chengze not know?

The person who loves deeply has always been humble in relationships. He doesn't dare to ask Xia Tian at all. Once the window paper is pierced, he may not even be a friend.

Chengze is now enduring all kinds of "possibilities".

Maybe there was no ex-boyfriend at all, she denied it when they were in the villa.

Even if it does happen, she and her ex-boyfriend may separate again, and she may still think about her kindness and finally choose to stay with her.

It was the first time in my life that I skipped class. It felt terrible. I couldn’t miss the afternoon class again, and I couldn’t lose the grades I was proud of in the summer.

As soon as she left the dormitory building, she saw Cheng Ze running towards her with arms tightly folded.

"Coffee or soy milk?" He let go of his arm slightly, and the plastic round lids of two insulated paper cups were exposed from the zipper of his coat. The lids were filled with water drops.

"Soy milk." Xia Tian said timidly.

She is quite afraid of seeing Chengze now. She doesn't know how long she can keep the secret of selling bracelets.

"The cup on the left." Chengze said with a smile.

Xia Tian reached into his clothes, trying not to touch Chengze's body, and carefully pulled out the soy milk cup.

"Is it still hot?" Chengze took a sip of coffee and said, "Wow, the coffee is quite hot."

"How long have you been waiting here?" Xia Tian asked.

"It won't take long. Where's the food?" Chengze said.

Xia Tian shook the soy milk and said it could be used as lunch.

"That's not okay. I drank wine yesterday and didn't eat in the morning or lunch..." Chengze said worriedly.

"It's okay. If you drink this big cup of soy milk, your stomach won't be able to hold anything else," Xia Tian said.

"Does your stomach hurt?" Chengze asked.

"It doesn't hurt, two bottles of beer are not much." Xia Tian shook his head.

"Next time you want to drink, remember to call me. If you are sitting there drunk alone, what will you do if you meet a bad person?" Chengze said.

"Who would care about someone like me?" Xia Tian asked with a wry smile.

"I'm thinking about you." Chengze said, half jokingly, half seriously.

"I...I still have classes...I'm leaving..." Xia Tian ran away feeling guilty.

When something is on my mind, it is difficult to concentrate. I listened to the whole class in the summer in a fog. After class, I rushed to the library. No surprise. No matter how hard I tried, I still forgot every word in the book.
