Chapter 30(2/2)

"Oh, I said 'OK', why don't you go quickly!" Yu'er said.

The waiter hurriedly took the light blue cloth that Yu'er pointed to, opened the door curtain, muttered "Why are you so unlucky today..." and went into the back.

After three hours, I came out with a set of new clothes that were ready, complete inside and out.

"Find me a place, I want to change clothes." Yu'er said.

"Then, girl, please come in." The boy had learned his lesson now and obeyed.

After changing my clothes and combing my hair into a bun, I came out feeling refreshed and extra energetic.

"Your technology is not bad." Yu'er patted the waiter on the shoulder and said, "I will come to take care of your business next time."

"Thank you for the compliment, girl." The waiter bent down and thanked her.

"Are you saying in your heart, 'Don't ever come here again'?" Yu'er looked at him with a smile and said.

The waiter's face turned red and he waved his hands hurriedly: "No, no, I don't dare."

"Okay, then I will come often." Yu'er looked at him and smiled even brighter.

"Huan, welcome..." The guy's face was ten times more bitter than before.

Yu'er went out happily and walked away.

After walking all the way and waiting for so long to make clothes, I was already starving, so I first found a restaurant to fill my stomach.

After changing into brand new clothes, the journey was smooth. When we got to the second floor, we took a seat by the window, ordered a few dishes, and sat there waiting.

I was bored and looked out the window at the two big locust trees. A few birds flew in and then flew away.

Suddenly I heard a commotion on the street, and when I stood up to look, I saw a woman with disheveled hair and a muddy face fighting for a child with another man dressed as a fisherman.

"My child, my child..." the woman cried.

"Let go, you lunatic!" The fisherman pulled the child while reaching out to push the woman.

The child was probably in pain from being pulled by the two men. He cried loudly and shouted: "Dad, dad..."

While the woman was still pulling at her, the fisherman suddenly raised his foot and kicked the woman.

The woman was kicked to the ground, but regardless of the pain, she immediately got up and went to pull the child again.

The fisherman protected the child behind his back and shouted to the woman: "He is not your child!"

"My child, give me my child quickly..." the woman cried to herself, and then went around behind the fisherman to pull him away.

"Your child is dead!" the fisherman shouted again.

Hearing his roar, the woman suddenly froze.

The fisherman hurriedly grabbed the child and left in a hurry.

"Girl, your food is here." Suddenly I heard the waiter's voice say.

Yu'er looked sideways and saw that the waiter had brought a plate of dishes and was placing it on the table.

Looking at the woman again, she seemed to have lost her soul, walking staggeringly on the street, as if she was still muttering something.

The waiter glanced out the window and said to Yu'er: "Girl, you don't know her, she is a madman."

"Crazy? Why are you crazy?" Yu'er looked back at Xiaoer.

"Oh, that's pitiful." The waiter sighed.

"Listening to your words, I must know it." Yu'er sat back down and said to the waiter.

"Hey, who in Chenzhou City doesn't know," the waiter said, "She also has a man and a child, a boy."

"Oh? How did it become like this?" Yu'er said.

"Five years ago, the government wanted to build an ice house and expropriated her husband. He has not come back for several years. Her family has no labor and her livelihood is already a problem. Two years ago, her child became seriously ill and she had no money for treatment.

She died of illness, and after that she went crazy. She would pull and hug other people's children when she saw them. Everyone here knows that anyone with children avoids her."

"Why is the government building an ice house? Why don't people even come home?" Yu'er said angrily after hearing this.

"Chenzhou is close to the East China Sea and is rich in all kinds of fish. Every year, some good fish and shrimps are always sent as tribute to the court and the royal family," the waiter said.

"That's it." Yu'er nodded and said, "This ice room must be used to store ice cubes and transport these fish and shrimps."

"The girl is so smart," the waiter said.

"This ice house is just for winter repairs. How come no one has come back for several years?" Yu'er said.

"We need to build the icehouse in the winter, and the flower garden in the spring. The fortifications continue all year round, so it will take a few years," the waiter said.

"Waiter, here's a pot of wine." The guest next to me called.

"Hey, here we come." The waiter hurriedly agreed and said to Yu'er: "Girl, please take it easy, your dishes will be ready in a moment."

"Go." Yu'er said.

If the government arrests people, how can they not let them go home?

Then I remembered the incident about the big fish in Wuhai Village. The emperor had to send the fish so far away and asked these people to build ice houses and build fortifications. It seemed that Xiaomi scolded him lightly.

Now that you have come out anyway, and you really can't find where you are, why not go to the capital to have a look and teach that dog emperor a lesson.

Besides, I heard that the palace is full of rare treasures. Maybe I can find some good ones and go back to honor my father and mother.

Thinking of this, she put her hands together and raised them above her head, and said apologetically in the direction of Wuhai Village: "I'm sorry, sister Qingyi, brother Changli, I failed to take a good look at You Jue, you must not blame me."

Then he found a horse to ride on, and set off for the capital.
