Chapter Fourteen: Biography
"Grandpa Long-hair, look how well I'm practicing." Li Xuyang said to Grandpa Long-hair proudly.
"Not so good!" The long-haired grandpa said coldly with a straight face.
Li Xuyang stepped forward and hugged the long-haired grandpa's arm, shaking it hard, "Don't dampen my enthusiasm! I practice in the winter, and in the summer, I haven't stopped for a day."
"Okay, okay, you practiced well. Haha... don't break the old man's bones."
Li Xuyang knew that Grandpa Changfa was teasing him, so he used Grandpa Changfa's special skill - acting like a baby and being cute. As expected, Grandpa Changfa couldn't resist and surrendered.
"But, boy, although you have practiced hard, you only have the form and not the essence. You still need to understand more!" The long-haired grandpa put away his smile and looked quite serious.
Li Xuyang knew that Grandpa Changfa was not joking. He looked at Grandpa Changfa in confusion. He also felt that something was wrong the more he practiced. He couldn't figure it out, so he took the opportunity to ask Grandpa Changfa for advice.
The long-haired grandfather said nothing, turned around and entered the room. After a while, he came out carefully holding a book, as if he was holding a treasure.
"Yangyang, go and move the square table out for Grandpa Changfa." Grandpa Changfa said to Li Xuyang with a solemn expression.
"Hey!" Li Xuyang agreed and moved out a small square table measuring one foot square from the main room. "What does Grandpa Long Hair want to do?" He was confused in his heart.
The long-haired grandpa asked Li Xuyang to place the square table in the center of the yard and put the book in his hand on the table respectfully, for fear of being a little disrespectful to the book.
Li Xuyang secretly looked at the long-haired grandpa. The long-haired grandpa's eyes shone with respect and expectancy. He turned around and entered the room, taking out the scented wax paper money and a small incense burner.
Li Xuyang was so affected by the long-haired grandpa's emotions that he did not dare to express his anger and watched his every move.
The long-haired grandpa lit incense and white wax in the incense burner. The white smoke curled up, and a fragrant aroma floated into Li Xuyang's nose. The long-haired grandpa placed the book in the center of the square table and kowtowed three times to the book reverently.
"Come on, Yangyang, come on." The long-haired grandfather looked solemn and waved for Li Xuyang to come to him.
Li Xuyang was extremely surprised. Seeing Grandpa Long-hair's serious look, he didn't dare to ask, so he obediently came to Grandpa Long-hair.
"Send incense!" The long-haired grandpa said loudly to Li Xuyang.
Li Xuyang glanced at the long-haired grandpa who stood solemnly. The long-haired grandpa exuded an unyielding temperament. The breeze blew his silver beard and white hair, and his white placket and long coat swayed, like an old god controlling the wind.
Li Xuyang politely took the three sticks of incense from the long-haired grandfather, lit them on the white wax burning in the incense burner, and inserted the three sticks of incense into the incense burner.
"Kowtow...!" The long-haired grandpa drawled his voice.
Li Xuyang was affected by the solemn voice of the long-haired grandpa. He imitated the long-haired grandpa's behavior just now and kowtowed three times respectfully.
Li Xuyang was about to stand up when Grandpa Long-hair held his shoulders gently. He looked at Grandpa Long-hair confused.
The long-haired grandpa ignored Li Xuyang's confused gaze, carefully picked up the book on the square table and handed it to him.
"Take the book!" Grandpa Chang-hair's tone was non-negotiable. Li Xuyang hesitated for a moment, then respectfully took the book from Grandpa Chang-hair. Grandpa Chang-hair breathed a sigh of relief, as if he had completed a very important task.

"Get up!" Grandpa Long-hair said kindly to Li Xuyang who was kneeling on the ground.
Li Xuyang stood up slowly and looked at the long-haired grandpa in confusion. The long-haired grandpa chuckled and said, "Come on, come on, sit down, grandpa will tell you slowly."
Li Xuyang looked at the book in his hand. The book seemed to be old. It didn't look like paper. It seemed to be made of some kind of leather. The cover was a little yellow and had three simple characters written on it. He couldn't recognize it clearly.
, a bit like the three characters of "Wu Qin Xi" in official script.
The long-haired grandpa looked at the confused Li Xuyang, stroking his long beard, and smiled, "This is the original version of Wu Qin Xi passed down by the master. Now grandpa has passed it on to you. I hope you can carry it forward."
"It was passed down by the master?" Li Xuyang looked at the book in his hand. It was an ancient book. Who was the master of Grandpa Long Hair?
"About a year ago, when I was still young, the current situation was turbulent and wars were frequent. An old man who had fled from the north froze at the entrance of our village. I saw how pitiful he was and begged my father to take him in." Changfa said.
Grandpa looked at the distant mountains, and time seemed to have returned to more than a year ago.
Li Xuyang rested his elbows on the square table and held his cheeks in his hands, listening intently.
"The old man had no children, and his hometown was suffering from war, so he lived here until a year before his death. He taught me this set of Wu Qin Xi and passed this book on to me."
"How old did that old man live?" Li Xuyang heard that people who practice Wu Qin Xi can live for more than one year, and he couldn't help but be a little curious.
The long-haired grandpa glared at him, "The war is in chaos, and your life is homeless. How long can you live?"
Li Xuyang stuck out his tongue at the long-haired grandfather. Yes, in those days, it was very good to live a long life, and pursuing a long life was simply a luxury.
The long-haired grandpa was amused by Li Xuyang's strange expression. A smile flashed on his face, and his expression suddenly became lonely again.
