Chapter 1 The Buddha's Destiny

Chang'an, the capital of the ancient imperial capital, the capitals of Zhou, Qin, Han, Jin and others established their capitals here. Chang'an is located in the middle of the Guanzhong Plain of the 800-mile Qinchuan. It is adjacent to Zeshui, Weishui, Fenghe, Heishui, Shui, Lishui, and Bahe in the south, and Bahe in the east. It was formerly known as Bashui around Chang'an. From a geographical perspective, Chang'an has the Wushan Mountain on the left, Hangu Pass in the left, and Long and Bashu on the right, with Pishan and Rivers on the right, and fertile land for thousands of miles. Just from meteorological perspective, "The Qin Dynasty has been the emperors and states since ancient times" is not a false statement.

Located on the left of Chang'an, Wushan is a gateway to Chang'an. Wushan is full of high mountains and ridges, with undulating ridges and majestic momentum. Qingyang Peak, the main peak of Wushan, is towering into the clouds, and is covered with white mist all day long, which is quite spiritual. At the foot of Qingyang Peak Mountain is an official road with cliffs on both sides of the official road, and the terrain is very dangerous.

At this time, a caravan was slowly coming from the east, adding a bit of fun to the deserted official road. There were about 30 people in the caravan, each urging the caravan, looking around vigilantly, just wanting to get through this dangerous place early. The leader of the caravan was an old man with white hair and beard, and he was shouting the merchants behind to maintain their formation and move forward quickly. The old man looked at the orderly team and thought to himself: "Don't do anything, hey, Buddha bless you!"

However, the old man's idea was obviously willing. When the caravan reached the center of the canyon, a group of robbers with bare arms and big swords on their backs stopped them. The robber leader was a rough man about thirty years old, with a beard on his face and eight feet tall.

Seeing the robbers appear, the caravan is in chaos, and many people are hiding under the carriage tremblingly, constantly praying for the blessing of the gods of heaven. In their hearts, it is undoubtedly a disaster to meet these wolves and tigers.

The old man was also shocked, knowing that today was in danger, but he was very unwilling to accept it. They had worked very hard to climb mountains and wading in from the Western Regions, and originally expected to be shipped to Chang'an for a good price.

The robber leader looked at the "fat sheep" in front of him with a smile. At this moment, he was so happy that he didn't know what his surname was. The group of robbers had been ambushing here for more than ten days. After finally waiting for the prey to appear, the robbers' hard days were finally over. Thinking of this, the robber leader couldn't help but burst into tears. Looking at the group of robbers behind him, his expression was quite excited, and his eyes were red and staring at the goods on the carriage, eager to try.

The robber leader strode forward, put the knife on his shoulder, and said loudly: "Gaga, listen, please leave the goods quickly and you can leave."

There was another riot in the caravan. Many people were trying to lose money and eliminate disasters, but they heard the old man excitedly said: "Everyone fought with them. Think about it, we spent a lot of effort to buy this batch of goods hundreds of miles. If we give up like this, how can we explain to our relatives when we go home?" The old man glanced at him and continued: "All our property is mortgaged on this batch of goods. How can we survive without this batch of goods? Do you have the heart to give it to others?"

The old man's words successfully aroused the vitality of the caravan. No one thought of running away again. They had the strong determination to be with the goods.

The robber leader glanced at the caravan with disdain and turned around and made a gesture toward the back.

A massacre began. The robbers holding big swords screamed and rushed towards the unarmed businessman, raising their swords and falling, blood splattering everywhere. The merchants also fought without hesitation, but after all, they were not the opponents of these robbers who killed without blinking, and most of them died in a blink of an eye.

Only the old man seemed to be a trainer, and he independently resisted the attacks of two robbers, but from his difficult expression, it can be seen that he couldn't support him for long.

The robber leader looked at everything with satisfaction. When he found that the white-haired old man was still holding on, he couldn't help but curse: "Grandma, I can't tell that you have two more hands, so I'll let you ruin you!" After that, he raised his knife and chopped the old man. The old man was rushing to resist the attack of the other two robbers. How could he have time to avoid this knife? He was about to splatter blood on the spot.

Suddenly, there was a loud shout in the air, "I'm so evil! You dare to do such a thing that hurts the sky in broad daylight, which is outrageous!" A golden light shot out from the air and hit the robber's leader's hand. He immediately groaned and found that his hand could not move. He was shocked and looked into the air.

This look almost scared him to the point of being possessed. A white-browed monk with a red cassock sat cross-legged in the void, folded his hands together, and a golden light shining above his head, and a solemn appearance of treasure.

The robber's leader thought it was a god who came, so he knelt on the ground and kowtowed. The robber's leader was called Yang Tianxing. He was originally a country farmer. Because he could not bear the poor life in the countryside, he gathered a group of gangsters and gangsters to become robbers. Because his parents died when he was a child and suffered all kinds of humiliation, his temperament became a bit extreme. He killed countless people on weekdays and was full of blood.

When the other robbers saw this, they fled one after another, leaving only the old man who was lucky enough to survive and the coma and Yang Tianxing who kept kowtowing.

The old monk Baimei sighed, and looked at Yang Tianxing's eyes that were constantly kowtowing on the ground, and thought to himself: This son is so beautiful, but he is a pity to escape into the devil's way. If he can enlighten him, he will not lose a talent. Thinking of this, he shouted in a deep voice: "Damn beast, do you know your sin?"

Yang Tianxing trembled, raised his head to look at the monk Baimei who was scattered with Buddha light. He felt that the past was emerging in his mind. When he found that his hands were full of blood, he was already sweating profusely and his whole body became cold. He was not bad by nature, but because he suffered too much, he was cynical and his temperament changed drastically. After a few memories, he realized that he was guilty and regretful. He said in shame: "Boy knows his mistake!"

The old monk Baimei proclaimed the Buddha's name and said: "All sentient beings are greedy for life and fear of death. My life is other people's fate, be careful not to be lighter than that. The heart is greedy for the mouth, happy to kill, and kill as much as you eat. You can be sympathetic and miss the fear of the fear of the other, so you should not bear to eat it to prove your compassionate behavior. Your nature is not deteriorated, but you almost escape into the path of demons and will never be restored. The six senses are impure, so you should wash your heart. The heart is not impurified and there will be no filth. Therefore, the heart is the root of the heart and control everything. Subduing the heart, and still controls a tiger. If there is a tiger, it will hurt your body. Remember to remember, don't relax."

Yang Tianxing was enlightened and sighed, and said in a deep voice: "Thank you for the guidance of the gods. I have received the teachings. I must eliminate miscellaneous thoughts, escape from the turbid waves, be clear and empty but not tolerate, save dangers and help difficulties, and live up to the guidance of the gods."

The old monk Baimei was slightly stunned and sighed that this person has a shallow wisdom and his heart is full of love for talents, and said, "You have a connection with the Buddha. As long as you put down the butcher knife and practice good deeds, your mind will be Buddha. The form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color. The form is emptiness, emptiness is color. The feeling, thinking, action and consciousness are also the same. Sariputra! All dharmas are empty, neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor purified, neither increasing nor decreasing. Therefore, there is no color in the air, no feeling, thinking, action, no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind, no color, sound, smell, taste, touch, and law. There is no eye realm, even the realm of consciousness. There is no ignorance, no ignorance, no ignorance, no old age and death, no old age and death. There is no suffering, no accumulation, no wisdom and no gain. Because there is nothing to gain, Bodhisattva."

Yang Tianxing seemed to understand, but he nodded and responded: "Boy understand!"

The old monk white-browed smiled and said, "Get up." After Yang Tianxing stood up, he said, "I am not a god. I am a Buddha." Speaking of this, he sighed, as if he was recalling something, and his eyebrows were slightly frowning.

Yang Tianxing looked at him enviously and said to himself: "It's so amazing. He can sit in the air without falling down. I would have been so powerful."

The old monk Baimei turned his head and looked at Yang Tianxing, with a solemn expression and awesome spirit. He saw that Yang Tianxing was admiring him and knew that he must have something important to say.

Sure enough, the old monk Baimei said aloud: "My teacher, Samantabhadra, is the fifth generation sect leader of Tantric Buddhism. What I can't learn from is my teacher. Now I am the sixth generation sect leader of Tantric Buddhism."

Yang Tianxing was confused when he heard this and couldn't help asking, "Master, what is Tantra?"

The old monk Baimei smiled kindly, as if he admired his straightforwardness, and said, "It seems that first of all, I want to explain to you the world of practice today. There are two main sects in the world of practice, namely the world of Buddhism and the world of cultivation. The world of Buddhism is divided into many schools, but the most important ones are Huayan Sect, Zen Sect, and Tiantai Sect. Those who practice Buddhism have nine major realms, divided into three external vehicles, three internal vehicles, and three secret vehicles. The three external vehicles are the Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, which refer to the four truths practiced by Arhats, Pratyekabuddhas, and the ten

The two causes and conditions, the six perfections and ten thousand practices are generally referred to as the exoteric teachings. The three internal vehicles refer to the practice of the three divisions of the work, the practice, and the Yoga. The work is also called the business division, which has methods such as increase, rest, enlightenment, and punishment. These are all methods that are used in accordance with the wishes of sentient beings. They are also convenient methods of "firstly hooking with desire, then entering the Buddha's wisdom", and are not ultimate. The practice of the practice division is to achieve life and death, and to escape from the sea of suffering, and then enter into practical practice. Start with visualization, cultivate qi, meridians, bright spots, such as the Powa method. Yoga means "appearance"

", the practice of the Yoga school corresponds to the principles, words and actions, above and above, and below and to sentient beings. Three levels are derived from here, namely the three vehicles of the treasury. The three vehicles of the treasury are Maha (Maha) Yoga, Anu Yoga, and Ati Yoga. Maha Yoga means the Great Perfection, and the form-like things such as the observations are empty, and they correspond to the formless Dharma body. Anu Yoga means the supreme perfection, and take the realm wisdom as the beginning, and further transform all manifestations into one reality.

The meaning of Yoga is extremely perfect, and then it combines the three vehicles into a great mantra vehicle, and then becomes a Buddha above the great mantra vehicle. However, it is so difficult to become a Buddha. Many people will not reach the state of the inner three vehicles in their entire lives. People with Buddha's fate and wisdom can reach the three vehicles by practicing Buddha's heart. It is quite dangerous to pass the great mantra vehicle to become a Buddha. If you accidentally get rid of the body and spirit, your body will be destroyed and you will never be able to recover. Only when my teacher passed away did he realize the true meaning of becoming a Buddha. It's a pity that he did not have the chance to become a Buddha, which is also the will of heaven."

Yang Tianxing was fascinated by the sound of his hearing, and then asked, "What about our Tantric Buddhism?"

The old monk Baimei sighed in a low voice and said helplessly: "The opposite of our Tantric Buddhism is the Exoteric School. The Huayan School and other sects I just mentioned are all exoteric schools. Although the exoteric schools both practice Buddhism, they criticize each other and have a long history of differences. Our Tantric Buddhism emphasizes "becoming a Buddha in this life", while the exoteric school is "understanding the mind and seeing the nature, and suddenly becoming a Buddha." When our Tantric Buddhism was founded, Padmasambhava, the founder of our Tantric Buddhism, founded the Tantric Buddhism because he founded a way of practicing Buddhism that was different from the exoteric school, but it was strongly opposed by various schools of the exoteric school at that time, and believed that our Tantric Buddhism violated the Buddha's will and entered the path of demons. Alas, because the exoteric school was powerful at that time, we had to retreat. It took hundreds of years to go through. Now, it is estimated that not many people know about our Tantric Buddhism."

Yang Tianxing was also worried about the injustice of Tantric Buddhism and wanted to comfort the old monk Baimei, but he was clumsy in his words and didn't know what to say.
