006 A Goblin
In the backyard of a house in Xinkai Town, there is a very small flower tray. On the flower tray is planted a pear branch that has just been broken off the tree. There are several small green buds on the yellow-brown branches.
Maybe its owner was afraid that it would be lonely. In its home, two round longan cores were buried one after another, and a clove of garlic was also planted. Although this combination may seem strange, it is still the owner's piece after all.
Good intentions, right?
The owner's friends all laughed at her, saying that the pear branches would not take root at all and would not survive for long! They advised her to give up, but she didn't.
"I must feed you!" the master said to himself while sprinkling water on the flower plate.
Just like this, I sprinkle water every day and talk to myself every day.
Suddenly one day the small green buds on the pear branch sprouted. Although there were only a little bit of green buds, the owner was still overjoyed.
When meeting people, he starts to show off: "My pear branches have sprouted! My pear branches have sprouted..."
Friend A said: "Oh, that's amazing!"
Friend B said: "Give up, it still won't take root."
Friend C said: "Stop being so childish, you are such a big person!"
…
She ignored many words and only focused on showing off the results of her hard work.
Finally, the owner fell ill, and the pear branches she took good care of also bloomed.
The flowering pear branches soon died without the diligent watering of the owner and lack of sunlight.
The white petals fell one by one, and the green branches and leaves curled up.
Just when the pear branch was about to die, the owner finally came back from the hospital. The first thing the owner did when he came back was to run to the backyard to look at the pear branch to see if it had bloomed.
"I must feed you!"
"My twigs are the best."
"I really want to see you blossom..."
"I will let my friends take care of you! You have to be good."
At the last moment, Pear Branch met its owner who was full of tears. Somehow, it suddenly gained intelligence, but it had no body anymore.
The owner could not see its appearance, but continued to water it day after day, hoping that a miracle would happen.
"Did she save the dead branches in the end? Sister Huabai." A chubby little man sighed with emotion after hearing this, and quickly asked what happened next.
A woman wearing a tawny dress with a few white flowers in her green hair touched the little fat man's head and said nothing.
She didn't save me, but she gave me new life.
The owner watered the small flower pot day after day, thinking that a miracle would happen soon. Unexpectedly, in that gloomy weather, a child pulled out the dead branches...
The tail had no roots and even broke with a slight break. She was stunned on the spot and burst into tears. While crying, she watered the dead branches she pushed back with water.
"I must feed you!" The owner frantically began to water double the amount of water. She stubbornly believed that the reason why the dead branches withered was because she watered too little every day.
But she didn't expect that doing so would drown the remaining plants living inside.
"Later, in addition to practicing hard, I pumped water from the flower tray every day. Until..." Until the end, I no longer had to pump water.
"Sister Grey, this master is so good! If only we could have such a good master." The chubby Xiao Yuangun tugged on the gray girl's brown dress and envyed her.
Hua Bai smiled and thought to himself: That clove of garlic probably didn't think so, otherwise why would he have disappeared as soon as he had spiritual consciousness?

The inspiration for this story comes from the pear branch in my flower tray... I watered it for many days and watched it grow from small green buds to green leaves. Finally, it withered due to my negligence. I sorted out the flower tray today and found out
It didn't even grow roots, and the green leaves before seemed to be just the result of my hard watering...
2020.04.13. Under clear skies, I wrote an unfinished story in my hometown. (I don’t know if this note can be successfully reviewed, although I haven’t submitted it for review yet...)
Today is another day of worrying about novels.
It seems that the more I write, the more I deviate. Without rules, there is no circle! I have to start setting up a main line and N secondary lines...
I always feel that my characters are becoming more and more similar, or more and more dissimilar.
It’s so distressing! I’m scratching my head and not knowing what to do. Is this the only way for Xiaobai to go?
I don’t seem to be as serious about writing that novel as I used to be. Before, all my life was centered on that, but now it seems like I’m doing it hastily just to complete the task.
Is this really what I want? Why should I choose the smaller one?
You must know that it is better to teach a person to fish than to teach him to fish! Learning skills well is much more important than the small benefits in front of you...
Be serious about writing that book, that's what you should do. Once the book is written, other traffic will come naturally!
