102 The love of the educated youth generation

When people talk about love, they always like to ask: "Do you believe in love?" This is probably a scene that appears countless times in many novels, film and television works. In an era of material desires, love is equivalent to a disposable condom, throw it away after use. Wind flowers and snowy nights are so-called romance, and flash marriage is no longer a new thing.

I'm afraid people don't know what kind of love the educated youth generation has. In the years of suffering, love is like a lighthouse in the vast ocean, guiding young people to overcome the suffering in life and work. Perhaps it is the dependence and common situation that makes young hearts become fragile and helpless, approach each other and rely on each other to comfort each other.

People often say that love that has been through hardships is the most precious and lasting. However, looking at the entire history of "going to the countryside", there are those who have achieved success, but the love tragedy that the educated youth remembers is more: political movements, recruiting workers, joining the army, going to school, returning to the city, and tragedies of love are staged again and again.

I know a Shanghai educated youth who looks white and gentle, you can tell at a glance that they are different from the surrounding farmers. She married and had children with locals and took root in the countryside, which is considered to be her oath in front of Chairman Mao’s statue. Her life is quite happy.

However, the 1970s were not all as innocent and romantic as described in Jiang Wen's "Sunny Days" or Du Liang's "Blood Romance" and more of a hardship. The physical and spiritual destruction made many educated youth still feel scared after returning to the city. Nowadays, people have turned a blind eye to the issue of freedom of love and early love, but in the early days of that era, love should rise to the question of whether they are loyal. "Pushkin" is a big poisonous weed, and the love of young men and women who have just started to taste the fruits is destined to be a tragedy. Without cars, houses, money, and a small house with air leakage on the four walls next to the cowshed can also be regarded as a paradise for two people. Children are hungry without milk powder and hungry for feeding, and a spoonful of sugar water is rare, but there is no green in their bowl.

This book involves the love of educated youth, but it doesn’t take much attention. Most of the post-80s people read my books? I think everyone should take a look at more positive and interesting things, which is better!

When we have no love, let us look forward to it. When we enjoy love, let us cherish it. When we lose love, let us miss it!
