Side Story: They all call me the grandson(1/3)

Country of Light.

A little Ultraman sat bored at the top of the plasma spark tower. He looked at Ultraman flying in the air and shrank his figure behind the pillar.

His father was Ultraman Taro, the great warrior, and this was an identity that made him proud and distressed.

Because as the son of a hero, he can receive a lot of preferential treatment and praise, but these things appear because of his identity.

Even if you do too much, everyone will only feel that "it is worthy of being Taylor's son" rather than "Taiga is really excellent".

His efforts were drowned in the shackles of his identity.

Sometimes I feel that it would be great if I was not my father’s son.

Taiga, who had not grown up, sat bored on the edge of the plasma spark tower, shook his legs, and sighed as he looked at the lively scene below.

"What's wrong? I look unhappy here."

Suddenly, a voice sounded in his ear.

Taiga first straightened his waist and back with conditioned reflex, and then looked around curiously, but he did not see other Ultraman nearby, nor did he look like he was talking to him in the distance.

"Who are you?" he asked in confusion.

"Why aren't you happy?"

The voice did not answer, but asked again, and the sound still seemed to be ringing in my ears.

Taiga stood up in panic and covered his ears. He didn't know who was talking to him and couldn't see anyone, but with such a close voice, he had to doubt whether he had auditory hallucinations.

Or, finally, because I was too bored, I started talking to myself?

The voice suddenly chuckled.

After Taiga figured it out, she sat down again and began to say to herself, "I'm not unhappy either, but I just feel very troubled."

"What's up to you?"

"Don't you know? If I were not Taylor's son, wouldn't there be so many praises? Or if I was not Taylor's son, could everyone communicate with me well?"

"Tyro's son? Is it because of this trouble? Why can't everyone communicate with you?"

"It's not that I can't communicate with me!" Taiga felt that the problem of this voice was strange. He muttered: "I mean, everyone will only greet me because I am Taro's son. No matter what I did, they just think I am Taro's son!"

"Oh, I understand. I can't live a normal life because I'm famous, right?"

“…”

Taiga was stunned. He listened to this simple sentence and summed up all his troubles. Although he felt it was a bit strange, it was completely fine.

Isn’t his problem because of being Taylor’s son, the whole Kingdom of Light knows it?

Even a little bit too much, there is a case in the universe that Ultraman Whistlero's son is Taiga.

So even if he leaves the Kingdom of Light, he still cannot get rid of this identity.

"But just because of this kind of thing, wouldn't it be too simple?"

"Hey! Is my question very simple?!" Taiga said unhappily when she heard this: "This is obviously a very important thing. I have always lived in the shadow of my father!"

"Is the existence of my father troubled you?"

“Eh?”

Taiga was stunned for a moment, and then quickly said, "No, I admire my father too! It's just... it's just because of this that everyone doesn't remember me, they only remember that I am Taylor's son."

"Why don't you remember?"

The voice seemed to ask the repeated questions, and Taiga gradually felt a little irritated.

"Because I am Taylor's son!"

"Isn't it because you're not good enough?"

"You actually think I'm not outstanding enough?!"

"If it's better than Taylor, won't you remember you?"

"Beyond the father..." Taiga Nana said: "How is it possible, how can I surpass such a powerful father..."

"Don't you even have the courage to challenge?"

"No!"

Taiga had never heard such underestimation of him. He immediately hugged his arms and said, "Whether it is physical fighting or light skills, I am among the best in Ultra Arena! But even if I am so powerful, I still can't defeat my father."

"You can go to the earth to experience it."

"Earth...Earth?" Taiga was confused.

"Yes, the Ultra brothers seem to like to go to Earth to experience it. Mengbius gradually grew into a brave man who stood alone after returning from Earth."

"Is that amazing there?"

"Only by walking out of the Kingdom of Light, you will know that the scenery you see is nothing more than a corner of the universe."

"I have also been to many places in the universe..."

Taiga muttered, but then he waited for a long time but didn't hear the sound again, as if he had left.

He tried to shout several times, but he didn't get any response.

What? Are those who leave so caught off guard?

Having said that, so who is the voice? Was it coming from other places, or is it really his own voice?

Taiga touched his head and jumped off the plasma spark tower with a strange look on his face.

He couldn't wait to find Phyllis who was guarding the warehouse of the Science and Technology Bureau. Usually, there was only that quiet place that could make him express his emotions, and only the quiet Phyllis would listen to his silences.

...

The light in the warehouse is slightly dim, and the things stored in the light ball exudes the dusty aura of the times.

"Phelis! Philes!"

Taiga yelled in this quiet place rashly. Ultraman of the Blue Clan who was wiping the storage object looked up, and his usual dull eyes seemed to condemn him for disturbing these "memories".

"Can you tell me more about the earth?" Taiga sat on the table completely ignored it and said with anticipation.

"What's wrong?" Phyllis asked.

"My father and many powerful Ultraman seniors, they all seem to have been to Earth to train?" Taiga said, "I want to know more about those things."

Although Phyllis always stays in the warehouse and never leaves his home, he has been exposed to many "memories" after a long time, and has a lot of experience.

"There are many stories about the earth."

Phyllis paused, and seemed to look at a storage object. Then, a gentle voice slowly explained to the curious young man in front of him.

...

The time flows in the Kingdom of Light is very fast.

It's so fast that people usually can't react.

In the eyes of everyone, Taiga is as excellent as ever, and he can easily pass any assessment.

After all, it is Taylor's son.

Amid such praise, Taiga worked hard to train herself, day after day to make herself stronger until the reserve team of the Universe Guard began to be assessed.

He yearns for the universe and goes farther outward.

Only by joining the Universe Guard can he have more room to show himself!

As Taylor's son, Taiga, who has always been excellent, naturally passed the assessment without surprise and became a reserve member.

"Very good, now I can go out with my seniors to do tasks!"

The young Taiga stood at the top of the plasma spark tower, happily put his hands on his hips, and was happy to himself in the light for a while.

He used to run out of the Land of Light by himself, and even once encountered an aggression crisis on an alien planet, and was involved in the battle with warriors of the alien universe.

But in his opinion, it was all small fights, and the real crisis was always a life-and-death battle!

"Have you joined the Universe Guard? Congratulations."

Suddenly, the voice that had disappeared for a long time appeared again.

Taiga didn't react, so he subconsciously searched around for a while, and then he vaguely remembered that it was the voice he heard occasionally when he was a child, and that voice that had been clamoring him.

Later, when Taiga came here again, he didn't hear it again.

He once thought it was his own auditory hallucination cured.

Now that he heard this familiar voice again, Taiga was unexpectedly not panicked. He just touched his nose a little embarrassedly and said very normally: "I haven't officially joined yet. I am just a reserve team member now."

Even though he said so, his tone was still full of pride.

The voice smiled again.

"Go outside the universe, maybe you will grow."

"So are you still thinking of it as a child?" Taiga snorted and began to search around the Plasma Spark Tower.
