Chapter 1 A Transcript

Liu Cheng lay quietly on the bed, staring at the ceiling in a daze. She was thinking about that thing over and over again in her head, wondering if she had done something wrong?

Dongdongdongdongdongdong, someone rushed upstairs. Hearing the footsteps, he seemed to be a clumsy person. But Liu Cheng had long been used to making the footsteps, and she knew it was her father who came upstairs. Is it because of this for the sake of this?

Sure enough, the footsteps walked outside her room and there was no movement. But there was still a slight sound outside the door. It was obvious that my father was wandering outside the door, hesitating whether to come in.

Liu Cheng didn't say anything to let her father come in. At this time, she just wanted to be alone and think about whether she had done something wrong in this matter. A knock on the door soon came from outside the door, accompanied by the knock on the door and the kind voice of her father, "Xiao Cheng, can I come in?" As soon as she finished speaking, her father came in. My father always did this. No matter whether others agreed or not, as long as he wanted to do, he would intervene himself in regardless of other people's wishes.

When my father came in, he saw her lying on the bed in a daze. He walked directly to her bed and sat aside and looked at her quietly. After a while, my father asked her, "What I delivered to me just now is the college entrance examination transcript?"

"Well," Liu Cheng said simply. She knew that her father had something to ask. He must have many questions in his heart and needed her answer. "Why did he do so poorly in the exam? Is it because the exam was tense that day and he didn't perform well on the spot?" His father lit a cigarette and sent it to his mouth and asked.

"Well," Yang Cheng was still a simple word, but she had turned her head and looked at the man smoking beside her bed. His black hair had already had a lot of white hair on his face. Time had already carved traces of wrinkles on his face. He was only in his forties. In her impression, his father would smoke only when he encountered troubles.

After hearing her words, the father looked at her thoughtfully, "What are your plans?"

"I don't know!" Liu Cheng turned her head upset and looked at the ceiling above her head again.

"Why don't you repeat the year? Your grades have always been very good. Maybe you can get into a prestigious university after another year!" My father took Yan Ai and took two sips of the candy in his hand again.

"Dad, I don't want to repeat the school! I don't want to go to any university either." Liu Cheng looked at him and said firmly. Seeing that the cigarette in his hand was about to burn to the cigarette butt, she wanted to remind him.

My father also noticed the cigarette in his hand, threw it on the ground and stomped it hard with his feet. "Then what do you want to do? You are still young and can't do anything!"

Liu Cheng thought to herself, I can help you with business and go out to work. But she knew that even if she said it, her father would not agree to let her do these things. Over the years, her father suffered all the hardships of being uneducated because he was not well educated. His only wish was that he and his sister could get into a good university, find a good job after graduation, and live a happy life!

Seeing that she didn't say anything, my father took out a cigarette from the cigarette box and lit it. "Didn't you have a wish to dance since you were a child? Dad can send you to art school to study dance, okay?"

"Art school?" Liu Cheng exclaimed. She sat up excitedly. Dance has always been her dream in her heart. She fantasized that one day she could stand on the stage and dance the most gorgeous dance! She wanted to learn dancing at a very young age, but her family had no money and could not send her to learn dancing. Now her father actually wanted to send her to art school to learn dancing, which she felt incredible. After being excited, thinking about her current family background, she regretfully said, "But Dad, the tuition fees charged by art school are very expensive, and we may not be able to afford it!"

"Silly girl, why can't we afford to study? You forgot that our family has opened a bakery in the past few years and made some money to give you a college entrance examination! Although you can't go to college, you can still go to an art school."

"But my sister has graduated from the third grade of junior high school this year, and she also needs money to go to high school!" Liu Cheng asked with her lips pursed.

"She doesn't need much money to go to high school. You don't need to worry about money. Dad will find a way to solve it. You can spend the two months of summer vacation with peace of mind. When the art school recruits in September, Dad will take you to register!" The father extinguished the cigarette in his hand and looked at her and said, "You can have a good rest today. The college entrance examination has just passed, and you have put a lot of sweat and hard work. You can have a good rest. I'll go down first, and the bakery also wants me to watch." After that, he left the room, Dongdongdong went downstairs and went to take care of the bakery downstairs.

When Liu Cheng saw his father leaving, she didn't know what it felt like, and she was mixed with emotion. Her father thought about everything he did, and he had thought about everything himself.

If my father knew that this time the college entrance examination was done by himself, I wonder what his father would think. Will he scold himself? Will he still send him to art school? He originally wanted to help his father run a bakery before he got into college so that he could be easier and relieve his burden. Since his mother passed away, his father has been busy all over the past five years, and he is the pillar of the family. He earns the expenses of the family by himself. He worked so hard that he didn't want to go to any university, nor did he let himself get into that university. As a result, his father unexpectedly sent himself to fulfill his dream of dancing. Liu Cheng has been immersed in his thoughts and did not feel anything abnormal at all.

It was not until a "pop" sounded in his ear that Liu Cheng woke up in shock. She saw her only sister staring at her with anger.

"What's wrong with you? What's going on?" Liu Cheng looked at her angry sister. The sound she made just now was she. She took Liu Cheng's transcript and smashed it directly on the desk.

"What's going on? I want to ask you, Liu Cheng, now you are proud! Dad has finally sent you to art school, and you can finally realize your dream. But why are you so selfish? You selfish ghost!" Liu Ye pointed at Liu Cheng so angry that he said excitedly, his chest rising and falling.

"Liu Ye, tell me clearly what these words mean? Why am I selfish?" Liu Cheng also looked at her sister angrily and said.

"Aren't you selfish? Don't think I don't know. You did it on purpose for the college entrance examination this time! Do you want to lie to me if you can lie to dad?"

Liu Cheng thought for a while and smiled bitterly, "You know this too. I don't plan to lie to you. I will explain it to you in a few days. But I'll know you're so smart. I'll tell you before I tell you. To tell you the truth, my original intention is to help my father do business at home or go out to work without getting into college. I didn't say I was going to art school at all, it was my father who proposed it!"

"What you said is true?" Liu Ye asked a little disbelief when she looked at her sister.

"Of course, if you don't believe it, you can ask your father. But you are not allowed to tell him that I did not fail the college entrance examination this time, so as not to be sad if he knows it. I will find an opportunity to explain this matter to him slowly, and it is best not to let him know it." Liu Cheng warned her sister, hoping that she would not leak it out, so as not to be sad when her father knew the truth.

Liu Ye nodded, and she also knew what to say and what not to say.

"Sister, then you go down first, I want to be alone." Liu Cheng sighed after watching her sister leave, thinking that she would adapt to a new environment and start a new life in two months. At that time, she still didn't know what kind of life would be waiting for her!
