34 Library Secrets(1/2)

"You just want to find the real murderer of your father through this mission, don't you?"

When Hoffa asked this question, Osivia fell into a long silence.

In the empty classroom, she just stared at the old newspaper for a long time. Then, she reached out and pulled off the newspaper, folded it, and stuffed it into her bag:

"You don't know what happened."

"Yes or no?"

"Yes." Osivia said calmly, without too much shame.

"That's your own business." Hoffa shrugged.

"Your family members are dead and it is natural for you to seek revenge, but that has nothing to do with me."

"I need an assistant, Dumbledore recommended you to me." Osilvia looked at Hoffa's shoulder and said:

"I also think trusting you is a little easier than trusting other people."

"I don't trust you, Professor Romanoff." Hoffa said coldly.

"I think you are like an unstable time bomb. You don't really care about the life and death of others. Moreover, you have never told the truth to me."

After saying that, Hoffa turned and left.

Osivia increased her voice: "I promise, I don't need you to do any dangerous work for me. I just don't want any other students to become teaching assistants and know the inside story of my work."

Her words made Hoffa laugh angrily. He turned around suddenly and raised a finger.

"Have you ever asked me what I think, not once since the day you met me at the beginning of summer vacation?"

"Say." Osivia took a step back.

Hoffa said: "You know what, I won't help you find a library of forbidden arts, or cover up any ulterior secrets, I don't care.

I don't care about supreme treasures or supreme power. I hate death, it's that simple."

After saying that, Hoffa turned around and strode towards the door.

This time, Osilvia Romanov did not stop him.

She stood there, motionless.

Bang!

Hoffa pushed the door open vigorously.

The two figures huddled against the wall jumped back.

The angry Hoffa was startled. Aglaia and Miranda actually put their ears to the door and eavesdropped!

After being frightened, Hoffa became even more angry.

"Are you two sick!?"

Hoffa gritted his teeth and cursed in a low voice before striding forward.

Miranda and Aglaia smiled at each other and chased after each other.

Miranda teased: "I thought the beautiful teacher wanted you for something! But it seems like you guys have something to celebrate."

Aglaia excitedly turned around Hoffa, from front to back, and from back to front, like a top or a dog looking for its tail.

"Wow, is there any big secret in the school? What about... the Forbidden Arts Library? What is that? Miranda, have you heard of it?"

Miranda shook her head: "I know that Hogwarts has a library and that the library has a restricted book section, but I never knew about a library of forbidden arts."

"Say it, say it! Hoffa."

Aglaia turned in front of Hoffa and walked backwards.

"Get out of the way, get out of the way."

Hoffa pushed Aglaia aside, who was walking backwards, and quickened his pace.

Aglaia was not angry at all after being pushed away. Her eyes were full of curiosity and she was so excited that she couldn't control herself.

"Wow, what's the inside story of the job, the ulterior secret, the supreme treasure, the endless power."

Hoffa turned a corner and walked up the stairs, trying to shake off the annoying top from the other side.

But Aglaia ran in front of Hoffa again, started walking up the stairs backwards, and could always avoid the crowd accurately as if there were eyes behind her. She almost begged:

"Oh, you see, I have never begged you. This time, I beg you reluctantly. Just tell me what the Forbidden Arts Library is, okay?"

Hoffa turned around irritably, grabbed her collar and pushed her down on the stairs, and said sternly: "Don't hang in front of me, I don't know!

Also, this matter has nothing to do with you, and it has nothing to do with us. Don’t get involved in this kind of thing casually, it’s very dangerous!”

"How dangerous is it?"

Not only did Aglaia not flinch, she became even more curious.

"You can't understand people?"

Hoffa glared at her fiercely, let go of his hand, and walked up to the sixth floor.

Aglaia continued to chase, but Miranda held her back. She shook her head and signaled Aglaia not to continue questioning.

Aglaia stomped her feet unwillingly. She crossed her arms and felt sulky.

When she reached the common room, she waved her fist menacingly behind Hoffa and whispered:

"I can find out even if you don't tell me, bastard!"

...

...

Time passed day by day, and the first month of Hoffa's sophomore year came to an end quickly.

The weather began to turn from warm to cooler, and late autumn in Scotland arrived as expected, and endless rain began to fall in the castle. The edge of the hunting ground was muddy, and in the distance Hoffa could see a large number of Aurors, patrolling around the Forbidden Forest regardless of rain or shine.

Within the school.

Teaching assistants from each teacher were selected one after another.

But Tom Riddle was still the center of the conversation, and there was no student in the entire second grade who could compete with him. He was as popular as ever.

Hoffa originally thought Miranda could become a second-year assistant coach, but that was not the case.

Dumbledore did not choose Miranda to be his assistant, although Miranda calmly and calmly used the shielding spell for a full minute under the flames emitted by the steel armor.

But Dumbledore chose a seventh-year Hufflepuff to be his assistant.

Aglaia, she has not become a teaching assistant, or in other words, her interest has completely shifted from being a teaching assistant. She is now focused on the so-called Forbidden Arts Library. In her words, she does not want to

Wizards who learn magic are not good wizards.

Hoffa didn't want to care what she was doing. For a month, he spent most of his time studying, especially studying magic spells.

For some reason, other students around him were able to cast the shield spell successfully, but Hoffa was unable to cast the spell.

Aglaia said that Hoffa was not attentive enough and had gone wild during the summer vacation. Now he has become a third-rate student and is no longer her opponent.

Miranda believed that Hoffa's pressure was not high enough and he lacked a clear goal, so he was unable to use the magic spell.

...

...

On the evening of October 15th.

Hoffa was working on his Charms assignment in the common room, mainly studying the Shield Charm.

Miranda was lying on her side, flipping through a 1988 edition of Superman comics. She didn't know where she got it from, and she giggled as she flipped through it.

At this moment, the door to the common room suddenly opened. Two second-grade boys walked in holding a thick book half a meter long.

"Put...where?" the man asked panting.

"Put it there, on that table, do you see it? Yes, yes, yes."

Aglaia followed them and directed them.

Bang!

The two boys placed the large thick book in front of Hoffa.

The table shook, and the ink bottle on Hoffa's desk was almost knocked over by the book.

"Is there anything else you need help with?" the boy asked.

"It's okay, it's okay, you guys are so kind." Aglaia waved her hands indifferently.

"whee......"

The two boys rubbed their hands and left, talking and laughing with happy expressions.

"What's this?"

Hoffa raised his head in shock and looked at the big brick book.

Aglaia sat down, folded her arms and said proudly: "Huh, Hogwarts, a history of the school, the oldest version, the most complete version, the rarest version, and it's also a handwritten version."
