39 Ancient Phantom(1/2)

Looking at the peaceful and bustling library hall in front of him, Hoffa asked hoarsely: "Then, shall we walk there?"

"No, call over."

Osivia said calmly.

"beat...?"

Hoffa looked at the group of illusions obsessed with knowledge with some disbelief.

Osivia didn't say anything, she pressed Hoffa's back, and they both took a step forward.

This step was like crossing an invisible barrier, or passing through a ghost body. The sudden coldness made Hoffa shiver.

The moment they crossed the barrier.

The phantoms reading, quarreling, and talking in the library all fell silent. They turned to look at Hoffa and Osilvia who entered the place, with indifferent and alert expressions.

Osivia let go of her arms: "Although this ancient library has been abandoned, the magic that protects it is still working. For these ancient memory fragments, we are intruders.

Only by defeating them can we reach the other side of the mirror world."

Osivia pointed to the statue in the center of the hall and said, "Take me there, I want to see if there are any clues."

Before Hoffa could answer, the phantoms of the ancient wizards around them all put down their books, stood up, and walked over to Hoffa. Their expressions revealed a bit of ferocity.

"Can they hurt me?"

Hoffa took a step back.

But Osivia held his back and pushed him forward hard.

Hoffa took two steps forward and crossed an invisible cordon. All the wizard phantoms raised their palms at the same time.

In an instant, the magic power around them shook violently, and their palms shone with colorful light.

Fireballs, lightning, and ice cones shot out.

This ancient magic wave made Hoffa's scalp numb.

His pupils shrank, and the ghost walked away and disappeared into the air.

Boom boom boom!!

Those magic spells fell into the void, and gravel flew on the ground.

Osivia held out a finger with a calm expression, and the flying stones were blocked by the shield spell and flew to both sides.

Hoffa walked out of the ghost, turned to look at several large potholes on the ground, and exclaimed: "Don't these people use magic wands!?"

Osivia turned her head and said:

"The assessment for wizards in ancient times was stricter than now. Casting spells without a wand is the basis for admission. Only top wizards will be equipped with wands. Now, defeat these fragments!"

"What about you, are you just talking?" Hoffa realized something was wrong.

"Um."

As she spoke, she took a step back to make room for Hoffa.

Damn...

Before he could sigh, Hoffa's face turned red with the dangerous light of the curse.

The wand quickly turned into a large shield in his hand, and he strode forward with the shield. Several spells hit Hoffa's shield, making him unsteady.

Hoffa felt that the shield was cold and hot at the same time.

After taking three steps back, he took off his shield and swiped it with his hand. The shield turned into a sharp whip, cutting several figures in unison.

There was no blood or scream. The severed body fell to the ground like glass and turned into countless glass shards.

But at the same time, more phantoms emerged from the surroundings and rushed towards Hoffa.

While running, they stretched out their hands, and the magic power directly turned into transparent and illusory purple blades in their hands.

They actually started to use transformation techniques, but those ancient transformation techniques were not about transforming matter at all, but about transforming magic power.

They held large transparent swords and axes made of magic power, and rushed towards Hoffa from all directions.

Hoffa knew how terrifying a group of shape-shifting masters were. He backed away repeatedly, looked at Osivia, and shouted: "You won't come!?"

Osivia was not moved at all, she said calmly: "Let me see your level."

While talking, a wizard phantom on the right suddenly threw out the purple blade in his hand. The blade grew bigger and bigger as it flew, blocking the way to the right.

Hoffa quickly rolled to the left with his shield in hand.

The wizard phantoms on the left were well prepared. Two of them waved their arms directly, and their transparent and sharp magic whips directly attacked Hoffa's lower third.

There was also a wizard phantom leaping high and slashing down hard with a transparent axe.

Damn it! These illusions of wizards who use transfiguration are still cooperating.

Seeing enemies on three sides, Hoffa's mental force field seeped into the ground, breaking the grip!

Three stone slabs rose from the ground, trying to block the attack of the wizard phantom.

The moment the stone slab just rose, the two wizard phantoms waved their left hands and cast a crushing spell that directly opened a gap in Hoffa's defense.

In the sky, the wizard leaping high threw the ax accurately.

The purple magic ax circled and flew towards Hoffa, passing through the gap.

In the flash of lightning, Hoffa bent down, waved his shield with one hand, hit the sharp ax and rolled away in confusion.

However, it was still a little late. The ax blade scratched Hoffa's cheekbone, and pain surged into his brain.

He touched his cheek and found a hand full of blood. The wound was deep enough to show the bones.

Those wizard phantoms did not give Hoffa any chance to breathe, and immediately organized the next wave of offensive after they succeeded.

The purple blades in the hands of seven or eight wizards turned into fiery red ropes, and they all swung towards Hoffa. There were even two wizards who turned into leopards, leaped high, and rushed towards Hoffa.

The situation is very critical.

At this moment, Osivia loudly asked from behind: "Why didn't you use transformation to fight?"

"You are blind, am I useless?"

Hoffa slapped away the axe-wielding phantom with a backhand sword and dodged.

"You didn't use what I taught you in class, human body transformation."

"I haven't listened carefully to any of your classes!"

Hoffa choked.

"Stop your arrogance, it's still too late to learn," Osivia said.

"Really? I don't want to turn into a snake!"

Hoffa changed his life, raised his leg and kicked a phantom to pieces. However, he was unable to overwhelm the leopard that jumped from the air, and it scraped far away on the ground.

The scene reached a deadlock for a while.

Faced with such a dangerous situation, Osivia did not panic at all, she said calmly:

"I didn't let you turn into a snake, but I heard Dumbledore say that you are also an Animagus, right? The youngest one in history."

"What, here?"

Hoffa rolled away from the leopard's claws, "The magic power is not enough."

"A reason for the weak, an excuse to escape." Osivia said calmly from the side.

"reason?"

Hoffa was shocked. He smashed a phantom with a hammer and backed away continuously: "Do you want me to be whipped and fucked?"

Osivia: "You can do better, like I said in the first lesson, use as many cards as you have in your hand.

You have a trump card in your hand, but you can't play it, and you have no way to truly control your Animagus."

"I told you, I don't have enough magic power!"

Hoffa emphasized, rolling continuously to avoid several hot chains.

Osivia flicked her arm, and her arm turned into a python, and she whipped Hoffa's calf like a whip.

Being attacked from both sides, Hoffa said angrily: "You want to kill someone?"

"Did you see it?"

Osivia said:

"Transformation is the magic of understanding, not the magic of magic. Human body transformation does not mean Animagus transformation. Human body transformation is about control and precision, not about giving you magic power blindly."

Her words distracted Hoffa's attention. Suddenly, Hoffa's left foot and right leg were tied by the chains of the wizard phantom. The ancient wizard phantom immediately tightened the chains and tried to cut Hoffa into pieces.

Hoffa cried out in pain: "You can't give me lessons in another place...!?"

Osivia: "Try it, hurry up."

Hoffa lay in the air, looking at the remaining magic power of 0.
