49 Sacrifice(1/2)

As soon as the old lake demon finished speaking, Hoffa clasped his hands together.

The surrounding snow exploded. Pairs of huge stone hands rushed out of the snow like lightning and grabbed the old lake monster at the head.

He knew that things were going to get worse, so he took the lead in taking action.

The old lake demon didn't panic at all, he sneered at the corner of his mouth and used his staff.

An invisible ripple spread quickly, and before those stone hands could touch him, they all turned into powder, and then turned into stone needles.

It pointed its staff at Hoffa.

All the stone needles flew back.

Hoffa was shocked. This was the first time that the Broken Grip was completely cracked. The spiritual power of this old lake monster was so terrifying!

Osivia's expression changed, she held up the shield with one hand, and tried to grab Hoffa with the other hand. However, she failed, and Hoffa disappeared into the air.

"careful!"

She shouted immediately.

The words just fell.

Click.

A flash of silver light flashed.

The old lake demon holding the wand was cut in half by a silver sword. The stone needles lost control and all fell to the ground.

Hoffa showed his figure, his chest heaved violently, and the lake monster that was broken into two parts turned into liquid and collapsed on the ground.

Osivia's eyes widened in the distance, it all happened so fast.

The sounds on the island disappeared, and the sturdy lake monsters around looked at each other, as if they were still not sure what happened.

The silver knife turned back into a wand. Hoffa glanced at the liquid on the ground and prepared to walk back. But as soon as he moved, he felt sticky on the soles of his feet, as if they were fixed by strong glue.

"I admire your transfiguration, boy."

A voice came from the ground, "I appreciate your speed even more."

Hoffa's expression changed.

Oops, I obviously didn’t notice any traces of the copied spell, so why did I cut it wrong?

He wanted to leave, but couldn't move at all.

His feet were frozen to death by two pieces of ice, the liquid on the ground quickly froze, and the ice was still spreading throughout his body at a speed visible to the naked eye.

A rickety figure walked out from the group of sturdy lake monsters again. It looked at Hoffa: "What a pity, you were born in the wrong era. If you were born a few hundred years earlier, you might have received a good education. Modern

Wizards have become more and more dependent on their wands."

Hoffa tried hard to move, but a chill shot from his thighs straight to his forehead, corroding his spirit and magic power.

The lake demon waved its webbed fingers slightly.

Three vines shot out of the ground like lightning. Hoffa's arm holding the wand was tightly tied to death, and three extremely strong male lake monsters tightened the vines.

The surging power was completely irresistible. Hoffa's left arm was immediately dislocated and his wand fell to the ground.

Osivia decisively rushed towards Hoffa, and the other lake monsters drew their weapons and rushed towards Osivia.

Without enough time to scream, Hoffa directly entered the activation state. As the arc flashed, his body suddenly rose to 1.7 meters tall.

He grabbed the vines and let out a violent roar. The electric arc followed the wet vines, causing the bodies of the three lake monsters to go numb and release their webbed palms.

Taking this opportunity, Hoffa pulled over the vines, and a lake monster was dragged over before it could let go. It pulled out a steel fork from its waist in the air and stabbed Hoffa in the eyes.

Hoffa ducked and dodged the steel fork.

Then his right fist hit the lake demon's chest.

This punch is extremely powerful.

Hoffa's right fist sank into his muscles, and the lake monster's spine bulged in an unnatural arc with a snap. His whole body flew out and hit the old lake monster.

"interesting!"

On the snow, the old lake demon holding a stick danced with his fingers, and the strong lake demon flying upside down changed direction directly. It hit a tree hard, and the snow fell down.

Hoffa untied the vines and reattached his dislocated left hand with a click.

But under his feet, the weird ice still restrained him, making his entire lower body unable to move. Even with such huge power in the activated state, he still couldn't break the ice.

He tried to use Ghost Walk to get rid of the ice that imprisoned him, but the ice was so weird that even if he used Ghost Walk, he couldn't break free from the ground.

Hoffa looked at the old lake demon and shouted angrily: "What did you do to me?"

"Young man, you have a lot to learn." It said hoarsely, "If you still have a chance."

After speaking, it took a deep breath and its chest swelled as high as a toad.

Then, it opened its mouth in an exaggerated arc. A stream of hot oil spurted out, turning into a raging fire in mid-air and rolling toward Hoffa.

The snow on the ground quickly evaporated, and water vapor billowed around it.

The cold sweat on Hoffa's forehead evaporated, and he didn't even know whether he was facing a lake monster or a giant dragon.

Since he didn't have a wand, in desperation, Hoffa reached out his hand in a hurry and roared: "Tariko Skeeta!"

A vague shield rotated and opened from his palm.

At this moment, several images flashed rapidly before Hoffa's eyes.

A fast-moving train and a boy in a wheelchair.

With a crisp crackling sound, the unformed shield burst into the air, and the flames scorched Hoffa's eyebrows.

At the critical moment, Hoffa still didn't use the shield curse. He yelled, "Damn!"

At the critical moment, a black figure appeared in front of him like lightning, spreading his fingers and holding up a shield to block the flames.

It's Osivia.

She stopped the flames with one hand, turned around and threw Hoffa's wand to him, and cursed angrily: "You don't know any other disciplines besides transformation?"

Hoffa: "How do I know what's going on!?"

In the thick fog in the distance, shouts shook the sky. One after another, the lake monsters rushed through the gap in the frozen lake onto the isolated island in the middle of the lake. What happened was completely beyond common sense.

"What should I do with this thing?"

Hoffa asked, pointing to the ice cubes climbing higher and higher.

"That's a voodoo curse. It absorbs your own magic power to strengthen yourself. Don't fight it." Osivia shouted loudly, and knocked away the two lake monsters with a magic spell.

Hoffa understood.

It’s actually a curse, no wonder the ghosts can’t escape even if they walk around!

He did not dare to hesitate, and immediately released the activation state, activated Cho'gall's conversion technique, and converted most of the magic power into life.

Suddenly, the ice cubes that had lost their source of magic no longer grew upward. As the magic was drained away, they gradually faded and became fragile.

Click!

Hoffa immediately broke free from the ice, took Osivia's arm and ran towards the church.

"This way."

Osivia flicked the shield, and while flying, the shield turned into a huge rotating chain of fire, heading towards the old lake monster.

The lake demon raised his staff. The space in front of him folded into a shining mirror wall. The chain hit the lens and turned into countless flying iron stars. It instantly illuminated the island, and the surrounding area was a fiery red.

Osivia temporarily pushed back the lake monster and followed Hoffa.

The two of them climbed up the hillside and returned to the cemetery of the ancient principal. Hoffa squeezed into the church sideways. After Osivia came in, Hoffa grabbed the stone door that had fallen off.

Boom!

The two of them used force at the same time to close the church door.

Osivia wiped the cold sweat from her forehead.

Hoffa stepped back continuously, crossing his hands. Huge stone arms stretched out from the ground, densely blocking the church door.

Through the crack in the door, Hoffa could still see billowing flames and other weird magical lights flickering outside.

A group of lake monsters quickly rushed into the cemetery from the snow,

"Is the lake demon's magic so strong?"

"That's their chief, the only priest in the tribe, and his strength is comparable to that of a top wizard."

"Why do these creatures kill students and teachers? Aren't we in Hogwarts?"

"I don't know! This has never happened!"

Osivia finished speaking angrily and quickly walked to the other side of the church, but the way was already blocked by piles of rubble.

She looked at the frantically besieged gate behind her and said, "Hurry up, the gate won't last long. Use your transformation to get these stones away. Let's go back to school from the other side."

"Um."
