Going back in time...

Hoffa was silent. It is true that he knew that the wizards in this world had the ability to disrupt the rules of time. In the original description, Harry Potter fifty years later used the time turner in the third grade to save the world.

His godfather Sirius.

But reading the story and experiencing the time disorder yourself are completely different experiences. The time he went back far exceeded the time Harry went back, and actually went back two full days, and he didn't use a time turner.

He wanted to ask something more.

But his shoulder was slightly bumped, and when he turned his head to look, Chloe put her head on her shoulder, and suddenly opened her mouth and spat out a puddle of bitter water.

Such a sudden move made Hoffa sick, and he quickly stood up sideways.

"What!?"

"I...can't see..."

After saying that, Chloe fell to the ground with pale lips.

"Hey, hey!"

At this time, Hoffa ignored the surprised looks of passers-by and quickly pulled her up, but she seemed unable to walk.

Touching the other person's forehead, he secretly thought that it was bad, this guy probably consumed too much and fell into a symptom similar to hypoglycemia.

Looking at her pale side face and thinking about her silver-white eyes not long ago, Hoffa couldn't help but shudder. Who was this guy next to him who was limp into mud? Who could he have such terrifying abilities?

He had thousands of doubts in his heart, but if he wanted to get the answer to the question, he had to cure this guy first.

Determined, Hoffa put Chloe's arm on his shoulders and planned to take her to a nearby hospital.

But as soon as he took a step, he suddenly felt a tearing pain in his arm, as if someone had scratched himself with a utility knife.

He quickly rolled up his sleeves.

I saw a transparent spot the size of a finger appearing on my wrist. Through the spot, I could clearly see the varicose veins in my body. I could even see the telephone pole across the street through it. I stretched out my hand.

When touched, the spots felt hard. It was as if someone had replaced the piece of flesh and bone on his wrist with glass.

"What the hell..."

Hoffa looked at the transparent spots on his wrist and felt a bad premonition in his heart.

He put down his sleeves and picked up Chloe. He strode towards the surrounding hospitals. Within a few steps, Chloe's weak voice sounded from his arms.

"Don't... go to the hospital..."

"Don't go to the hospital..."

"My mother is Jewish, just eat something."

the nun whispered.

Hoffa was awestruck. In this era of nationwide arrests of Jews, sending her to the hospital would be the same as pushing her into a pit of fire.

He immediately shut up, then left and changed direction. He took a small path and twisted around. Not long after, he found a cafe deep in the alley and took Chloe in.

The waitress in the coffee shop was almost dumbfounded when she saw Hoffa running into the shop holding a nearly unconscious girl.

Hoffa found a corner seat and settled Chloe, then quickly walked around to the bar.

Waiter: "She..."

"Don't ask any questions, two caramel cappuccinos," Hoffa said.

The clerk's peripheral vision still lingered suspiciously on Chloe in the corner. At least she had some professionalism and quickly made the drinks Hoffa needed.

When Hoffa brought the hot drink back, the nun was already leaning on the chair and murmuring in a daze.

She couldn't hear what Hoffa said, so he had no choice but to hold the cup and put the drink to her mouth. Fortunately, she still had some consciousness left and could eat on her own.

After feeding for a while, Chloe slowly opened her eyes and said weakly: "Thank you."

Hoffa breathed a sigh of relief and sat back in his seat, his face gradually becoming serious: "Aren't you going to explain it?"

"Explain what?"

said the nun with a pale face.

"Everything. Explain how I came to this time. For the sake of Merlin's beard, there are two me in this time. So who am I? Is all this real or illusory? What is your identity? Why are those*

*The wizard is tracking you, and..."

Hoffa talked very fast, wishing he could say hundreds of words in one second.

"Can you let me eat something first..." The nun said weakly and Hoffa choked back.

He got up and went to the counter again, ordering all the food he could see.

Three minutes later, the waiter in the coffee shop brought out desserts one after another, sherbet, coffee, fruit, fruit cream cake, and dipping sauce made of chocolate.

Looking at the food, Chloe didn't enjoy it immediately.

She closed her hands, closed her eyes, and murmured vainly:

“Our Father in heaven, may your name be hallowed, may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Please give us our daily bread today, and forgive us.

Our debt of sin, as we forgive those who have wronged us, does not lead us into temptation....

(omitted)

...but deliver us from the evil one. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, today and forever, forever and ever. Amen. Lord, have mercy. Christ God, bless the food of your servants.

and drink, for you are holy, and so always, today and forever, age to end. Amen.”

After saying a long and meaningless prayer, she took the dessert and stuffed it into her mouth. Although she was fast, she looked quite gentle.

While she was eating, Hoffa folded his arms and watched indifferently.

After regaining some energy, Chloe asked: "You don't want to?"

Hoffa: "Your heart is too big to be able to eat like this."

Chloe rolled her eyes, "I'm starving, just get used to it."

Out of respect, Hoffa suppressed his desire to ask questions.

After she finally finished eating, Hoffa was about to ask, but Chloe started praying again.

“We thank you, Christ our God, because you have filled us with earthly gifts; do not reject us from your kingdom of heaven, as you appeared to your disciples and gave them peace and salvation.

Lord, please come among us and save us. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, today and forever, forever and ever. Amen.”

She repeated some random sentences for up to three times, until Hoffa was scratching her head with anxiety, and then she slowly ended her prayer and sat up.

"alright?"

Hoffa asked.

Chloe nodded, "Thank you for your hospitality."

"Time-turner? Do you have one of those?"

"Time-turner? What is that? I've never heard of it, it's my talent. I was born to do it.

As she spoke, she remembered something and smiled: "Let me tell you a joke. When I was a child, my mother even saw two of me in the room. She was scared."

silence.

No matter what Hoffa thinks, this thing seems crazy.

The time and space of this world does not seem to be as stable as I imagined. And the nun in front of me who I met by chance actually has abnormal abilities that are difficult to understand. No wonder those evil wizards are looking for her like crazy.

Hoffa: "There are two you in this time and space?"

"What you are asking about has nothing to do with you. You should just take care of yourself."

Chloe sat upright and said, "I have to remind you, you must go back to your own time."

"What if?"

"Otherwise you will be shattered in this strange time and space."

"Shattered?"

"Isn't there any abnormality in you?"

After hearing what she said, Hoffa's expression changed, and he rolled up his sleeves again. Only to find that the transparent area on his arm had grown from the size of a soybean to the size of a palm.

Chloe pointed to Hoffa's arm.

"Time flare. Yours is a paradox of this time and space. The longer you exist in this time, the more unreasonable your existence becomes."

"What's the meaning?"

"Time is like a running train. Everyone's seat on this train is determined. Some people are at the front of the car, some are in the middle, and some are at the back.

For ordinary people, this position cannot be changed casually. If you leave your position for too long, the logical chain that maintains your existence will become more fragile. If it exceeds a certain critical value, you will eventually be completely crushed by the inertia of the arrow of time.

Shattered and completely gone."

Hoffa realized that he didn't understand what the other person was saying at all. After thinking for a moment, he reached out and rolled up Chloe's sleeves.

However, there are no transparent spots on Chloe's arms.
