9 sleepless(2/2)

"Prove yourself." Hoffa said, holding the microphone.

"Okay." The blonde woman nodded.

On the stage, I saw the blond woman whose clothes did not match the atmosphere at all, pressing the strings calmly and shaking her head slightly.

The next second.

With a slight movement of her fingers, she unexpectedly performed a smooth solo.

At the beginning, those money-grabbing people under the stage didn’t care about the bullshit music, they were just frantically grabbing money. But as the solo gradually deepened, they were attracted by the bass solo music, looked up at the woman, and for a moment they forgot to grab money.

Hoffa's eyes widened. He just wanted to vent, but he didn't expect this guy to be a world-class bassist.

I saw the slender fingers flying up and down, and the beating notes flew out like running water. Like a breeze, like a drizzle, it brought everyone into the psychedelic rock world.

The crowd couldn't take their eyes away anymore. They raised their arms and started swaying to the music.

After the one-minute solo ended, the singers in the band behind her started to move like puppets. The drummer beat, the electronic keyboard flowed, and a soft but powerful ensemble sounded on the scene.

When the music hit his ears, Hoffa covered his head. His spirit felt as if he had been hit by a giant hammer. The crowd waving their arms in front of him became blurred, and the pounds flying in the air turned into bloody red dots.

The atmosphere was extremely psychedelic for a moment. He suddenly turned his head and looked at the blonde woman. The guy was looking at him with a smile, his eyes as deep and ruthless as a whirlpool.

Under the gaze of those eyes, Hoffa's mental shell was peeled off and shattered layer by layer, reaching the bottom of his consciousness. He instinctively held the microphone to his mouth and hummed in a low voice:

"Our bodies are separated, and we are one again."

"We reach the top and we fall into the abyss."

"We are so young and we are so old."

"Do you know that my burning heart is so cold!"

"We don't need persuasion, we don't need help."

"We don't need money and we don't need alcohol."

"We don't need a doctor or a woman, just a bottle of nitroglycerin. Use gunpowder to ignite it and ignite the body."

He shook his head and sang softly.

"ignite....."

"ignite....."

"ignite....."

The blonde woman on the bass stopped her fingers, and the rhythm suddenly stopped.

After a second, the rhythm quickens.

Hoffa gripped the microphone, bent down, and sang at the top of his lungs.

"Burning heart, so cold!"

"Kill me!"

"Drink my blood!!"

"Eat my heart!!"

"Take everything from me!!"

"Burn my body into ashes!!"

He straightened up, held the microphone, and looked at the sky. The singing from the soul caused young people from all the streets in Soho, London to gather here. The people who had gathered in the theater raised their arms in shock and suddenly burst into laughter.

The emotion made them tremble all over, wave their arms, and scream wildly. It was music they had never heard before.

.......

"Burning heart, so cold!"

"Kill me!!"

"Drink my blood!!"

"Eat my heart!!"

"Take everything from me!!"

"Burn my body to ashes!!!!"

...

The spotlight shone on the black flamingo, and his expression became more and more ferocious, like the cry of an ancient wizard after a hunt. The blond woman in the distance had no expression on her face, but her fingers were so fast that she almost broke the strings, as if she

The strings are not played, but steel bars are played. The music pours out like a storm, and it is so violent that it almost tears the space apart.

Countless people gathered together and shook their heads, filling the theater of several thousand square meters with water, like a large-scale cult scene.

...

"Kill me!"

"Drink my blood!!"

"Eat my heart!!"

"Take everything from me!!"

"Burn my body to ashes!!"

"Kill me!"

"Drink my blood!!"

"Eat my heart!!"

"Take everything from me!!"

"Burn my body to ashes!!"

"Kill me!"

"Drink my blood!!"

"Eat my heart!!"

"Take everything from me!!"

"Burn my body to ashes!!"

"ah!!!!!!"

With a long roar, Hoffa threw away the microphone, walked straight to the drummer, grabbed him by the back collar and threw him out. Then, he sat in front of the drum set and started playing regardless.

Amidst the roaring like a tsunami, his arms were as fast as phantoms, and his feet were stepping on the beat. Those rough and simple techniques seemed to be self-taught. With the help of the bassist's violent playing, he shook his head,

Like a madman.

I don’t know how long I beat him, until the tiger’s mouth bleeds, until the place is silent, until my whole body is dripping with sweat, my gray hair combed back is wet and messy with sweat, my red sunglasses are shattered on the drum head, my Patek Philippe is broken into pieces, and my black feathers fall all over the ground.

...

...

The hour-long performance ended.

Everyone at the scene was in a daze. They rolled their eyelids, opened their mouths, and seemed to have lost their souls. After the music stopped, they still swayed their arms in the air, like seaweed floating in the sea.

Except for him and the blond woman, the other musicians in the makeshift band fell to the ground, foaming at the mouth from exhaustion and unconscious.

Hoffa lowered his head and drooped his arms, sitting like a hairless rooster in front of the almost smashed drum set. Sweat dripped from his chin and the tip of his nose to the ground, and the sound could be heard.

The restless soul gradually cooled down.

The quiet stage was unbearable for him. It was the loneliness among thousands of people, the loneliness at a loss. It seemed that as soon as he closed his eyes, he could see the empty room, the man who fell behind the dining table, and the splattered blood in the night.

He is so awake.

"What... do you want to do?" He lowered his head and his hoarse voice was too low to be heard.

"You know why you need to ask more." The blond woman holding Bess said with a smile.

"You don't have to say anything nonsense to ask me to go back." Hoffa lowered his head and murmured: "I am very happy now and will not go back to fifty years ago."

"You haven't slept for a month, and you have never even left a group of people. If you are enjoying your life now, what are you afraid of?"

Hoffa lowered his head and remained silent.

The blonde woman put the bass on the ground, picked up her bag, took out a box of barbiturate from the bag, poured the white solid in the box into her hand, and then handed her palm to Hoffa: "If reality

If this is a nightmare for you, then you should take a good rest."

"A nightmare reality...?"

Hoffa slowly raised his head, looked at the charming woman's face in front of him, looked at the unconscious revelers around him, and completely understood its true identity.

He took the pill and swallowed it.

Soon, due to the effect of the medicine, his vision became drowsy.

"Go to sleep, go to sleep."
