Chapter 43 Weird Mission (Part 2)

"Call all people with light attribute magical talents. Regardless of level or profession, you only need to have light-based magical talents and be able to complete basic magical output to get the test qualification. If you can pass the test, you will be rewarded with generous rewards." Ulysses looked at this task that seemed inexplicable and could not figure out what he was going to do, and was moved.

Because the reward level of this task is, it is in the top column at the top of the union hall of the mercenary group, and is ranked behind several ancient tasks that have been listed as legends and have not been completed for hundreds of years. And the legendary tasks that Ulysses has seen in the town outside Mira Village, the lowest reward is also a rich territory - something that even money can't buy.

And being able to rank behind those legendary tasks means that the reward for this task is definitely not low. You should know that the mercenary union organization has to pay a deposit when it releases tasks. If the tasks ranked at such a high position, the deposit is probably a scary number.

"You only need to have the light attribute magic talent, regardless of level or profession..." Ulyss looked carefully and confirmed that he was indeed within range, and his heartbeat suddenly accelerated.

Although I don’t know how generous the reward of this task is, judging from the level of the task, it is undoubtedly much higher than the daily tasks he just chose.

Maybe he should give it a try.

However, is he really fine with such a high task level? What is that test? What should I do if it cannot pass?

…………

"It's the same hotel?" Ulysses stood nervously outside the door of the highest floor of the Hailar Hotel. In the end, he took over the task and used a basic light magic to prove his qualifications, and then obtained the certificate for this task.

What he didn't expect was that the person who sent this mission actually lived in the same hotel with him, and he happened to be on the highest floor of the hotel.

After the doorbell was pressed, no one answered.

"Aren't you here?" Ulysses pressed again.

"Who?" A somewhat vague voice came from the other side of the door, as if he had not woken up.

"I was introduced by the Mercenary Union. Do you need a light magician?" Ulysses answered carefully. He had only done magic crystal charging tasks and really didn't know how to do such a high-level task. Judging from the published mission level, the person living on the top floor of this Hailar Hotel must be a big man, maybe a respected magician.

"Defense magic is lifted, come in." It was still the vague voice, and a hint of sleepiness. It seemed that Ulysses was not so good.

"Disturbate." Ulysses gently pushed the door, and the closed door was easily pushed open, revealing the strange scenery inside the door.

It was a magnificent and gorgeous sea-blue world. The water curtain in the sky spreads to all sides like water waves. The sunlight shines on this layer through the soft water waves, making it look as clean and beautiful as the seabed.

After entering this level, Ulysses could no longer hear the sound outside, as if the noise of the entire city was isolated from this level, and only felt tranquility and peace. Even with his entry-level magic level, he could feel that this space had been wrapped in a light film-like energy barrier, leaving only a little insignificant external fluctuations in the direction of the entrance.

What surprised Ulysses even more was that this floor was actually a complete whole, without separate rooms. This entire floor was obviously just a resting place for someone.

This kind of big deal has completely surpassed the scope of ordinary hotels. I believe that even many kingdoms will not have such luxurious buildings built.

On both sides of the door, statues of different shapes are placed. When you walk here, you will feel like you have entered a palace of art carvings and paintings of stones. The brave men holding swords, the knights holding shields, the magicians chanting spells, and the beautiful fairies surrounded by the flowers of thorns, are all arranged vividly on both sides.

No matter which one is a masterpiece, even Ulysses, who is completely unaware of art, can see the value of these statues at a glance. Many of them still have traces of erosion of time. Obviously, they are definitely not new decorations, but treasures that deserve a long history.

Although it is during the day, the magic lamps decorated on the walls still emit a soft light. These magic lamps are simple and beautiful in shape, many of which are inlaid with gems. It is hard to imagine that this will appear in a hotel provided for tourists to live in, but it is more like treasures from palaces in any country.

The more he went, the more uneasiness he felt in Ulysses's heart became.

Shouldn't it be, which country's king was released? Perhaps in this room, there were more than one pair of eyes hiding, staring at his every move. As long as he showed his unjust behavior, someone would immediately put the sword on his neck, and then he would have to spend the rest of his life in a dark prison.

Fortunately, Ulysses's worries did not become a reality. Until he arrived at his destination, no knight came from anywhere to put his sword on his neck and sent him to the black prison.

"Are you the new light magician?" The publisher of the mission was sitting on a wide big bed, looking at Ulysses cautiously at his feet with a lazy look.

"Yes...yes..." Ulysses looked at the ground nervously, as if he wanted to find a few ants on the ground - of course, there was not a single one here.

Because he was too nervous, he couldn't see the face of the mission publisher clearly. He just vaguely knew that the master of this mission was not very tall, and had a head of blonde hair. He was probably a prince from a certain country.

What caught his eye was a pair of small feet wearing white socks. Perhaps because he had not yet gotten up, the owner of this cute little feet had not had time to put on the purple crystal boots on the ground.

A few strands of golden hair scattered beside these cute little feet, as if dotted with thin lines. A faint fragrance came from the air, which was not the smell of a certain perfume, but the natural fragrance that made people feel moved with the violet fragrance of Sister Mira herself.
