Chapter 23 Three Bowls of Chicken Soup(2/2)
Lu Qingshan was somewhat flattered by this treatment.
"Sword Sect Lu Qingshan, I have met the eminent monk." Lu Qingshan entered the main hall and bowed deeply to the old monk, sincerely.
A powerful Buddhist aura hit his face from the moment he stepped into the palace door.
Surrounded by this aura, Lu Qingshan seemed to hear a Bodhisattva chanting sutras and inspiration in his ears, a Buddha casting Buddha's light for universal salvation, and an Arhat giving warnings, warning him that his murderous intention was too strong, and that he should put down his butcher knife as soon as possible and become a Buddha immediately.
.
Of course, this is not what the Chicken Soup Sage is saying to target him or show off his power.
In fact, in this Mahavira Hall, countless eminent monks have chanted Buddha's name, enlightened, and achieved enlightenment here for thousands of years. As a result, a Buddhist trend has been brewing in this place and will never go away.
There is no malicious intention in this Buddhist trend.
However, it has been cultivated for thousands of years, but it is also extremely powerful. If ordinary people enter this place, they will inevitably fall into the Buddha's obstacle for a while.
Lu Qingshan was calm as usual, the wind was light and the clouds were calm.
The old monk looked at Lu Qingshan.
He knew very well that Lu Qingshan had lost all his cultivation at this time, so it was naturally impossible for him to use his spiritual power to resist this trend of Buddhism.
People who believe in Buddhism will not reject the general trend of Buddhism. Just like a fish entering water, it will naturally blend in with milk and water.
However, the sword cultivator in front of him has perfected his killing intent and his determination is unquestionable. It is obviously impossible for him to abandon the concept of swordsmanship and believe in Buddhism.
Excluding both situations, Lu Qingshan can still be so free and easy under the influence of Buddhism.
The old monk clasped his hands together, his eyes were compassionate, and the Buddha's voice lingered around him, "The donor is a person with wisdom. He is very good."
Coming from the mouth of a holy monk from the Eighth Realm, these words are already a huge compliment.
Lu Qingshan was very indifferent.
This is really nothing.
Monks in the world, while firming up their Taoism, often go to extremes and feel that other Taoisms are heresies, quite repulsive and hostile.
Therefore, when non-Buddhists enter this Mahavira Hall, under the influence of Buddhism, some repulsive reactions will naturally occur.
But Lu Qingshan is different.
Because his soul comes from a great country that is the most tolerant and from an open era.
Under the influence of that environment, he had his own persistence and beliefs in his heart, but he would not exclude other beliefs.
Even if you don't agree with other people's beliefs, you will still maintain your respect.
This is the tolerance bestowed upon him by the times.
It is great when a hundred flowers bloom.
Because of this kind of tolerance, he can be as harmonious and at ease with the general trend of Buddhism as a fish in water.
"Thank you, Master Abbot, for the three bowls of 'chicken soup'." Lu Qingshan thanked him again.
"Don't be too polite. The donor did it knowing that he couldn't do it, so he knows your true nature." The old monk said slowly with kind eyes, "Donor Lu, you have both Buddha nature and wisdom. Although you are not a member of the Buddhist sect, you have
The light of the Buddha teaches you how to accumulate energy, but it is nothing."
The old monk does not take credit.
Lu Qingshan ignored it and bowed to the end again.
The old monk did not hide, but accepted Lu Qingshan's bow.
When Lu Qingshan stood up, the Chicken Soup Sage asked again: "I see that the benefactor has lost all his Dao foundation. I don't know why?"
Lu Qingshan did not shy away from it, "I cut it off myself."
"What does this mean?" The old monk was not surprised and asked with a smile.
"In my early years of practice, when I was refining my qi and transforming my essence, I didn't realize that tall buildings were rising from the ground. There was a flaw in the Dao foundation. Now I can only make up for it."
"Donor Lu is really a brave man." The old monk praised him again.
"Master, you are so complimentary," Lu Qingshan laughed at himself: "If we find out later, we may not be willing to cut off this sword."
The old monk smiled and said: "I see that the donor is very wise and courageous, and he has the heart of a Buddha. I want to have another Buddha-like relationship with the donor. I wonder if the donor is willing?"
Lu Qingshan looked serious for the first time, cupped his hands and said: "I can't get what I asked for, so please ask the holy monk for advice."
Chicken Soup Monk's eyes were gentle and he said slowly: "Do you know the origin of the name Longxiang Temple?"
"If you want to become Buddhas, dragons, and elephants, you must first become sentient beings, horses, and oxen. It should come from this Buddhist verse (ji)." Lu Qingshan said.
The old monk nodded, "That's exactly what it is. Before you achieve the Buddha's path, you will first bear the fruit of suffering.
Therefore, my Buddhist practice is famous for its solid foundation and bright future, but its progress is slow.
The path of self-cultivation, the beginning of everything, is the body, and my Buddhist practice coincides with the lineage of body cultivation, which coincides with the meaning of self-cultivation.
The two are superimposed, so although the major sects have many Tao-level exercises in the Qi Refining Chapter, my Dragon Elephant Qi Refining Technique is recognized as the number one among all the Tao methods."
