Chapter 73: The Dungeon Under the Hut

"Qing Wu, cough!" Luo Ze murmured.

He slowly opened his eyes and woke up. He coughed up a mouthful of blood before raising his eyes and looking around.

He was dragged all the way back to Qingyunguan's private dungeon by Chang Shan, and his legs, hands, and neck were chained up.

The dungeon was dim and dull, with a foul stench of decay, and rats and ants were infested.

He climbed up with difficulty and tugged hard on the iron chain. It was made of black iron and might be difficult to break. He lay down on the ground in frustration.

When he was unconscious, he vaguely heard Qing Wu calling him repeatedly. She seemed to be crying, so he slowly regained consciousness.

He looked at the only sky window in the dungeon, and the weak light shone on his face. He stretched out his fingers to cover his eyes casually.

The light shone through his five fingers, which were covered with condensed blood, and he murmured: "Wait for me! Qing Wu."

"Monster, wake up!" At this time, footsteps came from the dungeon.

Luo Ze turned his head and looked, it was Changshan.

He opened the iron door and approached Luo Ze. He was holding a whisk in his hand and wearing a gray robe. He stood at the door and looked at Luo Ze with a mocking look on his face.

"Hand over your demon elixir! Maybe Pindao can consider letting you go!" Chang Shan said disdainfully.

"Hehe, hehe, Demon Pill! Come closer and look at me?" Luo Ze half-propelled his body and looked at Chang Shan.

Chang Shan remained unmoved and looked at Luo Ze condescendingly, "Come here and get closer! I'll tell you!"

Chang Shan thought for a moment and felt that Luo Ze couldn't do much in his current state, so he hunched over and really looked down at Luo Ze.

Luo Ze and Chang Shan looked at each other for two seconds, and suddenly their eyes emitted a deep green light. Chang Shan was stunned for a moment, and the next second he and Luo Ze disappeared from the same place.

There will be a short holiday next week, and Fusang originally planned to go back to Shu during the five-day holiday to see Qing Wu.

He hasn't seen Qing Wu for half a month. He only keeps in touch with her through his mobile phone every day, which can't relieve his lovesickness.

Ever since they parted that day, Qing Wu had shown her affirmation and acceptance of him, which made him more eager to go back to see her day and night. He wanted to prepare a grand confession ceremony for her.

Fusang finished his work early every afternoon. When the off-duty time came, he immediately rushed back to the hotel to contact his friends in Shudu to help him prepare for the confession ceremony and quietly surprise Qing Wu.

Just as he was imagining the scene of the confession ceremony, his boss came over to inform him that there would be no long holiday next week.

Everyone seizes the time to rush to work and complete the academic research report as quickly as possible. If it can be completed as soon as possible, they can return to Shu capital in advance and do not have to wait for three months.

Fusang lay down on the chair in frustration. He could no longer see his Qingwu. If he missed this short vacation, he would have to wait at least a month to see Qingwu.

————

On the first day of this long vacation, Xiao Xi made an appointment with Wenwen and Qing Wu to spend a day playing around the capital of Shu.

Wenwen took the baby, Qingwu and Xiaoxi took the cat. They rented a shared car and went to climb Qingcheng Mountain.

The air there is fresh and the scenery is pleasant, which is perfect for relaxing, but Qing Wu was absent-minded the whole time.

There was something wrong with her cat. As she walked, she told Xiao Xi and Wenwen that they also felt that Bobo was a little different, but they couldn't figure out what the problem was.

When they arrived at the Qingcheng Mountain, there was a Taoist temple called Qingyun Temple. The three believers went to pay homage to the Patriarch of the Sanqing Dynasty.

Qing Wu was ill and rushed to seek medical treatment. Her request to pay homage to her ancestor was actually for Bobo.

There is a tall tower not far from the Taoist temple. The tower has twelve floors. Three people climbed to the top and shouted to the sky to release their stress, worries and unhappiness. After shouting, they felt much better.

After staying at the top of the tower for a while, it was time for lunch. The three of them discussed going down to find a restaurant for lunch.

After going down the stone stairs and turning a corner, Qingwu saw the toilet and wanted to go to the toilet. He asked Awen and the others to go to the hotel first and she would come later.

After Qing Wu came out of the toilet, he became distracted and walked in the wrong direction. He walked further and further until he came to a very dilapidated small hut.

Since it was a scenic spot, Qing Wu thought it was some kind of hut exhibition, so he walked in and took a look.

She pushed open the hut and saw a musty smell coming from inside, with dust and cobwebs everywhere.

Qing Wu was confused, maybe this wasn't someone's abandoned old house! She shook her head in disgust and turned to leave.

A sparkling object on the ground caught Qing Wu's attention. When Qing Wu got closer, he saw that it was an emerald earring, which reflected light under the sunlight.

Qing Wu walked over to pick it up and looked around. She always felt that the earrings looked familiar, as if she had seen them somewhere.

Qing Wu took two steps into the inner room and looked at the furnishings. In the corner of the inner room, Qing Wu saw a deep pit. Under the deep pit was a stone staircase leading to the ground.

Qing Wu was scared. Who would build a house like this?

Qing Wu couldn't help but be curious, turned on the video recorder on his phone, and carefully walked down the stone stairs step by step.

The further down you go, the darker the light becomes, and there is an inexplicable and pungent smell.

After walking about five meters deep, Qing Wu saw an iron gate, which was unlocked and ajar.

Qing Wu gently pushed it away. The pungent smell of blood and rotten smell like dead mice made Qing Wu immediately turn his head away and feel nauseated.

Some terrible thoughts flashed through her mind, and she struggled at the door. In the end, Qing Wu couldn't help but go in to find out, just in case there was something down there that needed her courage at the moment!

The further inside, the darker and more pungent the smell became. Qing Wu covered his mouth and nose tightly, and the squeaking sounds of mice kept coming from inside.

Qing Wu was scared and guilty, so she didn't dare to go any further. She stood there and listened quietly. There was no other sound except the mice. Only then did she dare to move forward boldly.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, there was a glimmer of light inside, but it was very dark, and I could barely see clearly what was going on inside.

The first thing Qing Wu saw was an oversized operating table, like that of a slaughterhouse, with various slaughtering tools on it. The table was bloody, and Qing Wu had a terrible thought in his heart.

But she didn't know why, the more this happened, the more there was a voice in her heart urging her to continue going down.

Qing Wu bravely continued walking inside. Further inside was an empty central table with a human-shaped cross erected in the middle.

There were many iron chains and ropes tied to it, and there were many prison sentences hung on the wall behind the cross. Qing Wu was so frightened that he started to tremble.

At this time, there was a chirping sound from the inside, and Qing Wu was so frightened that he squatted on the ground and did not dare to move.

The chirping sound kept coming, and it seemed that it was accompanied by rapid and weak breathing. Qing Wu hesitated for a moment but still felt brave enough to move forward to see what was going on inside.

Qingwu walked further inside and there were cells with cages next to each other, just like the prison cells in TV dramas where prisoners are held.

Qing Wu tremblingly approached the first iron gate. She leaned on the fence and looked at it. There was nothing inside. She suddenly became bolder and continued walking towards the back.

When she approached the second cell, it was dark inside and she couldn't see anything.

Qing Wu took a quick glance and saw that other cells had a small skylight, but this room did not.

She leaned her head against the fence and looked inside, focusing her eyes on the inside. It was pitch black and she couldn't see anything clearly.

"Ah!" A pair of blood-red eyes suddenly came close to the fence. Qing Wu screamed loudly in fright, fell backwards, and fell to the ground trembling.
