Chapter 88 Clues and Escape

Caitlin used an iron rod to lift a blood-stained chain from the pile of corpses. Geno looked closer and saw that the chain was cut off from front and back and embedded in the flesh. The section was flat, and the edges were deformed and stuck to the flesh.

They show that these broken limbs are cut off together with the iron chain, which will cause stickiness.

"The crystal-rich ore powder covered with these iron chains can be inferred that these iron chains come from a crystal-rich ore vein."

Caitlin picked up a ball of green particles through the gloves and crushed them away.

"These chains are entangled in the body and the chains and then cut them off together." Geno suddenly interrupted Caitlin.

She glanced at Jeno and confirmed that he had tied his hair after listening:

"It's right, but it's inaccurate. There are traces of chains tied up on the corpse and neat cuts that prove that they were cut off together, but the ones that cut them off were chainsaws rather than swords."

"This shows that the murderer came out to commit crimes with chain saws and iron chains. They are tools only available in mines. Generally, they will not be taken out of the mine, unless the mine is transferred or damaged... and there is only one mine that has been damaged recently."

Professionals are not different! After Caitlin's analysis, Geno blurted out:

"The collapsed sinking hook mine pit..."

He pondered for a while: "But the mine has collapsed, and the murderer must have moved the place and will not stay there anymore."

The clue I just found was broken here...

"This has to be investigated from the gunshot wounds. If you can find the place where your accomplices can find the trace of the corpse-breaker."

Caitlin looked at the swollen gunshot wound and knew it was difficult to deal with. Even if the warhead was dug out, the production location of this batch of ammunition might not be found.

"It's still a witness to prove it." She stood up, threw the iron rod aside, and made a ping-pong sound.

"But I discovered an interesting thing. The explosive bullets and missiles used by Jinx came from the inventory of different Alchemy Barons. What's interesting is that all these Alchemy Barons were killed. Jinx couldn't just rely on himself to clean up so many forces, so these ammunitions were not trophys, but were picked up by her at the crime scene."

"After saying so much, you just want to say that Jinx may have witnessed the murderer's murder and want me to catch her with you?"

"That's right. If you find Jinx, you can find the murderer." Caitlin snapped his fingers with his arms.

"Why do you want me to go with you? It's your own business to catch Jinx." Geno sneered.

She couldn't even catch Jinx's trouble in Caitlin's territory. Now she wanted Geno to follow Caitlin to catch people in Jinx's territory, but he refused... because he didn't want to be bombed like a fool.

Although Jinx is crazy, he is not stupid at all, but he is very smart.

"Because you feel safer when you act."

Caitlin bounced Geno's chest, which was the largest light source in the entire sewer. It really felt safe from this.

She still remembers the last time Geno rescued her from the metal monster. Judging from Geno's ability, it was difficult for Jinx to cause any harm to him, which helped Caitlyn's plan a huge help.

If Wei hadn't had a relationship with Jinx that she didn't know, she wouldn't have gone to Zuan alone, which would have made it much easier for Wei, who was originally the boss of Zuan's gang, to lead the way.

"How good would you say if you weren't a spy, you'd be a policeman?"

Caitlin felt a little upset when she thought that there were not many good policemen who really served the people in the entire police station.

"Even if you say that, I won't be a policeman."

Geno looked down at the water surface, not knowing what he was thinking, but Caitlin raised his gun and aimed at him... To be precise, aiming at an open space not far away.

Geno saw a piece of tail poking out of the air in the direction of the muzzle, and was quietly reaching onto the trap, circling the small cakes without triggering the trap.

"I admit that I underestimated it. This guy is quite smart, but it's not too late to remedy it now."

Seeing that Tuqi was about to succeed, Caitlin, who had been eyeing the air for a long time, finally couldn't help but pull the trigger.

The gunfire instantly illuminated the sewer, and a hint of blood burst out from the air. Tuqi screamed in terror. A blind sniper actually hit him in the back, allowing it to escape from the invisible magic.

Seeing that Caitlin was still shooting again, Tu screamed strangely, and went into the ditch and disappeared. The smooth fur did not even splash a little water.

Without a certainty, Caitlin put down his gun: "It was the first time I hunted a magical beast. Tsk, it wasn't that easy."

Looking at Caitlin who was looking for her steps, Geno didn't say anything, but instead asked her to look around.

Soon, Caitlin's face became as ugly as Geno.

A large number of plague rats were summoned by Tuqi, and emerged from various dark corners such as cracks in the ground, brick holes, piles of rotten clothes, gathered into a tide of rats, densely packed, surrounded the two of them one by one.

Under the illumination of Hex's core, countless eyes reflected scarlet light, like fireflies in the dark night, extremely eye-catching.

"I'm very uncomfortable now, why does Picheng ban the Vishra Musket?"

Caitlin's face looked extremely ugly, her eyes and eyebrows were almost tangled together. There were so many mice without waiting for her to explode with one shot, and she would be cold.

Facts have proved that even a inferior creature like a mouse can easily crush humans under the command of a high-IQ individual.

She retreated repeatedly and accidentally hit Geno's chest, covering the blue light in Hex's core, causing the sewer to darken.

In this darkness, the rat group seemed to have received an attack signal and rushed up frantically, and the encirclement narrowed rapidly.

"Do you mind being held?" Jeno asked.

"Mind, but I don't want to die, please."

Caitlin took the initiative to snatch his feet and jumped into Geno's arms. The group of rats had already arrived at his feet, so densely that they didn't even have a place to stand. They were attacking Geno's crystal armor. Some agile plague rats were already hanging on their legs and climbing up their thighs, and soon biting Caitlin's butt.

"Get firmly."

Before Caitlin could react, Geno opened the force field directly. The sudden repulsive force bounced all the plague rats around him, and the surrounding radius was cleared within one meter, and no mouse could get close.

Then he stepped apart and ran towards the exit of the sewer. Wherever he went, mice flew like rain.

Caitlin was also not easy to live, and repulsion also worked for her. She felt that her internal organs were beginning to be dislocated and endocrine disorders were imbalanced.

The most intuitive manifestation is outside. Her ponytail scattered and her hair floated upright to the sky, like seaweed in the deep sea, swaying in the wind. She could only close her eyes and hug Geno's neck tightly to prevent herself from being ejected by repulsive force.

She opened her eyes and saw a large rat climbing up the shore beside the pile of corpses behind Geno, with two scarlet eyes staring at her until the darkness swallowed the space between them.
