Chapter 31 Horse Racing(2/2)
Then there is a long straight road along the Alcantara River and reaching the isolated stone mountain.
Roger felt that the ranger had no chance, and the next was a showdown between him and the Baron.
The floating eagle chased after it again.
Roger no longer had to honk the whistle, the pony was already running crazy, it had never run so fast.
The two teams are chasing each other, like Optimus Prime's heavy-duty card and Bumblebee's supercar racing.
You win because of your strong horsepower, and I win because of your light body.
There is only one horse's head in front and behind.
Until I went to the stone mountain, I didn’t really decide the outcome.
This side of the stone mountain is relatively gentle, but the other side is a steep slope.
So both of them slowed down.
After turning the mountain, there was a simple Z-shaped mountain road in front of me. This was paved by stonemasons with gravel to facilitate the mining of quarries.
Roger had seen the end, the church construction site not far from the foot of the mountain.
He saw the dean waiting there, waiting to announce who the champion was.
The two pairs carefully walked through the first turn.
The forest ranger only then did the mountain pass.
But the ranger took a shortcut again. His horse was so clever that he looked for the footing point that Roger could not see, and went straight down from the steep slope.
Now the horse racing seems to have changed from faster to slower. The finish line is right in front of you, but the road is difficult to walk. Everyone is anxious but no one can hurry. A mistake will be wasted and they will be eliminated directly.
Roger and the Baron came to the second turn, and the ranger also passed halfway.
Roger thought about it and thought it must be a forest ranger faster.
But obviously he underestimated the Baron.
The eagle soared again, and the war horse jumped off the cliff.
The Baron rode his horse and ran into the church construction site.
Roger could only envy that the pony had not yet developed completely and was not as strong as the war horse, so he didn't dare to play like this.
As Roger expected, the forest ranger went to the foot of the mountain first and entered the construction site calmly.
Roger shook his head and accepted the failure.
When Roger entered the church site, he found everyone cheering. They were amazed at seeing a wonderful horse racing, and no one ridiculed the losers.
Angelica handed Roger with the clear river water that had just been hit from the Alcantara River.
Seeing her red cheeks and sweaty nose, Roger probably thought that the girl would have swung the cloth strip and took the shortcut and ran all the way.
Roger was not as used to drinking raw water as Angelica, but he was thirsty now. He took the clear river water and drank it happily.
Then Roger joined everyone to celebrate, and this day was destined to be a happy day.
