Chapter 341 Holy Tomb(1/2)

Then Roger walked two steps forward.

There is an altar, above which is a model of Jesus being crucified, below which is a statue of Jesus, in front of it, with a marble and a round hole in the stone.

A Greek Orthodox priest pointed to the round hole and said:

“This is the hole that erected the cross.

"Here is Jesus, erected on the cross, and then his breath was cut off."

Roger studied the hole half-believingly.

Of course he knew and was familiar with the records in the Bible.

But he couldn't understand whether this hole was the original object at that time or was added later.

The Greek Orthodox priest smiled like a harmless sheep.

He said: "Jesus was crucified at 9:00 on Friday. By noon, it was completely dark. At 3:00 on the afternoon, Jesus died after shouting "God".

“At this time, people believed that Jesus was really the Son of the Lord, and that he came to save them.

"Then the people took him off the cross and placed him on a piece of marble to apply anointing oil, and prepared for burial."

Roger heard him speak vividly as if he had seen it with his own eyes, and he didn't know how many times he had said it so smoothly.

He asked, "Can I touch it?"

The priest said in a polite and even instigated tone: "Touch, this is the gift of the Lord."

Roger touched it, but his hand was not a carbon 14 tester, and touching it would be a waste of time.

But since you touch it, you can't really touch it in vain.

I have to give a reward when watching a show. How can I touch such a precious thing in vain?

He ordered Danny to donate a few gold coins.

Then Roger continued to walk forward.

At the front door, Greek Orthodox priests were guarding seriously.

They told Roger that this was the tomb of Jesus.

They said, “Jesus was buried here and was raised from here three days later.

"There are also the marble from the tomb inside, you can go in and touch the original object."

But no matter how they said that, they didn't move an inch of their steps, and they were still standing there like two door gods.

Roger understood.

When you enter the bride's boudoir, you have to prepare a few red envelopes. How can you not express anything when you enter Jesus' tomb?

He ordered Danny to give a reward.

The sacred tomb door retreated in the dazzling glory of gold coins.

Roger saw the Holy Tomb, which was actually a stone cave, less than 2 meters wide.

The guardian Greek Orthodox priests began to preach hard:

"It is said that this was originally a cemetery purchased by the noble Joseph.

“He donated his cemetery to bury Jesus because of his admiration for Jesus Christ.

“When Jesus Christ was alive, he said that he would be resurrected on the third day after his death.

"Jesus said, 'The Son of Man is handed over to man's hands, and they will kill him. Then after being killed, he will be resurrected on the third day.'

“On the morning of the third day, Mary Magdalene and Mary and Salome, the mother of Jacob, bought a balm and wanted to anoint Jesus’ body.

"When I arrived at the cemetery, I saw that the stones at the cave door were removed.

“They went into the tomb and found that the body of Jesus Christ was gone.

“Maria was crying at the entrance of the cave because she thought Jesus’ body had been stolen.

"While Maria was crying, two angels suddenly stood behind Maria and said to her:

"'Why are you looking for a living among the dead? He is not here and has been resurrected. When he was still in Galilee, he told you that the Son of Man must be handed over to the hands of sinners, crucified, and resurrected on the third day."

This story is recorded in the Bible, and Roger knew it.

But this is the first time I heard people say it so vividly.

The priest bewitched like a pyramid scheme:

"This stone slab can also be touched, you can touch it."

Roger reached out and touched it, and it was a cold stone.

The priest said excitedly: "How is it? Is it different from ordinary stones?"

Roger looked stunned and said, "It's a bit cold."

The priest said irritably, "It's not this feeling!"

He held the empty handed in his hands like two cooked chicken feet and said excitedly: "It's the feeling that cannot be described in words.

"Touch, touch again, touch carefully.

“You close your eyes, think of Jesus in your heart, and then gently caress.

“Do you feel it?

"That feeling requires you to experience it with your heart. The more pious you are, the clearer you will feel."

Roger cried, but he still felt cold.

This place cannot be sunny all year round. The gloomy stone slab, what else can he feel besides the cold?

But seeing the priest so excited, his face turned red.

Roger thought, if he still said, "I don't think anything except cold."

The other party will probably be very dissatisfied and will say complaints like "Why do you have no faith at all?"

That will seriously affect your image.

He thought, why not, how about shouting "It's good"?

But I was afraid that the priest would accept it and say, "Is it really good to have fun? Come on, you can lie down and try it, it will be even more fun."

Roger thought about it and let it go. It was too cold to joke in Jesus’ tomb.

So he pretended to be intoxicated and said happily:

"This feeling is this feeling, I feel it, a feeling that cannot be described in words."

Roger actually didn't want to repeat the priest's words, but he didn't know what language to describe.

Anyway, the priest seemed very happy to hear him say this.

Roger decided to make the other party feel better, and he said to Danny: "Reward, reward."

The priest was so happy that he moaned.

Roger walked out of the tomb with a glorious look on his face, but actually his heart was empty.

Just as Roger finished his visit and was about to visit Patriarch Anurf and offer a donation.

The church suddenly became chaotic.

Priests from various sects rushed towards the door, all of whom were rushing in a hurry as if they were staring at rotten flies.

Bishop Popo grabbed a fellow Roman Catholic and asked what happened.

The priest said: "Two famous Christian nobles died.

"One is the Hugh of Taipalai, and the other is his brother, Gerald, who is seriously ill."

Rollo said a little disbelief: "I'm not surprised that Gerald died, he had only breathed a sigh of relief.

"But his brother, Taipalai's Xiu is strong and I saw him a few days ago.

“He summoned 200 knights and 400 infantrymen and was about to return to his territory to collect taxes.

"This is fine, why did you die suddenly?"

The priest just shook his head, obviously the news he knew was limited.

Bishop Bobo released him, and the man hurriedly ran out the door, trying his best to join the funeral procession of the two nobles.

Roger looked out from the window and found that these two nobles should be considered relatively wealthy.

In the funeral procession, their relatives and friends were all dressed in gorgeous clothes, wearing gold and silver.

Bishop Bobo pointed at the front of the team, a clergy dressed in extremely gorgeous and solemn white sacrificial robe, he said:

"That man is Anurf, the Patriarch of Jerusalem."

Roger saw that the man was blushing, and his black and white hair and beard were carefully taken care of.

He saw the patriarch's exquisite costumes and huge cross scepters decorated with various gems, which were quite as powerful as charlatans.
