Chapter 33 Utopia

America, a continent isolated from the main continents, has been more like a paradise for a long time.

Itzam and his team members lived a happy life and became the indigenous gods.

Their descendants became priests, or kings, and continued to rule over most of the tribes in the land.

Without the invasion of advanced foreign civilizations, they did not even need to develop weapons. They only needed to use sticks and stones, and after simple training, they could easily conquer other more primitive tribes.

After being passed down orally for many generations, most of the knowledge, technology and experience brought by Itzam have been lost.

Only a small amount of architecture, astronomy, calendar, and alchemy were preserved and developed.

They built the most spectacular stone castles in the land.

They produced food that could feed tens of millions of people.

Their astronomical calendar is still unsurpassed by anyone.

They produce the most gold and silver on earth.

The time has come to 1100 AD.

The Andes Mountains and Cusco Valley have a pleasant climate, surrounded by mountains, and plants grow freely.

A descendant of Itzam, who claimed to be the son of the Sun God, followed the instructions of the Sun God and led eleven Ailiu (clan communes) to establish the first empire on this land, a true empire.

They called themselves the Empire of the Sun, or the Great Empire.

The eighth generation of kings worked tirelessly, and the great empire finally became as powerful as his name.

In 1438 AD, Pachakocut succeeded to the throne. His name means "the man who changed the world" and he was the ninth monarch of the great empire.

At the beginning of taking office, Pachacutu vigorously built the Temple of the Sun, expanded the palace, built military fortresses, and stored weapons, clothing, gold and silver treasures in Cusco in case of unexpected events.

Immediately afterwards, temples were built, roads were expanded, canals were dug, new farmland was reclaimed, and agricultural production was actively developed throughout the country.

An unprecedented feat, of course, requires special methods to accomplish.

Ailiu, which was originally built as a natural village, was replaced by the brigade.

Each brigade contains 10 squadrons, each squadron contains 10 squads, and each squad consists of 10 male laborers. A brigade contains one thousand adult males and their families.

Above the brigade is Saya (county), above Saya is Wamani (province), above Wamani is Suyu (region). The empire is divided into four regions, all regions, provinces, and counties

The leaders are appointed by the king, which ensures that power comes from the top of the empire.

Externally, Pachakoukt actively used troops. Wherever the army conquered, roads were built, administrative systems were expanded, and the civilization of the great empire was promoted.

Pachakouk, like all great kings, often visited various parts of the empire to see the people in person and listen to their complaints.

He enforces the law impartially, strictly examines officials, including royal nobles, and supervises whether they abide by the law.

Pachakoukte knew very well that managing a country could not rely solely on the king's personal charisma, but required a complete system.

Quechua was designated as the official language, and the state sent teachers and law enforcers to various parts of the country.

Pachakoukt will spend his life's efforts to ensure that people live a prosperous and stable life.

At the same time, in order to prevent extravagance and waste and ensure sustainable development, the law strictly stipulates what people of each class should wear on weekdays, what food they can eat, and how much they can eat; what they should do every day and how long they should do it; and what they must do on holidays.

do what.

Yes, the law regulates all aspects of people's daily life. The state provides all the necessary supplies for their lives.

The country even stipulates that adult men must get married when they are 18 years old and women must get married when they are 16 years old. The country conducts marriages for everyone and chooses a wife, because uncivilized phenomena such as singles cannot exist in the empire.

This was the first empire in human history that achieved fairness. Everyone in the same class had the same status, worked the same job, ate the same food every day, wore the same clothes, and lived in the same house.

The law also stipulates their joys, sorrows and joys. Yes, everyone is happy on the festival of the Sun God.

Many years later, after the hard struggle of the people of the empire, every road in the empire looks the same, and every house has the same standard, the same comfort, and the same appearance.

There was a peasant woman who went out of her way to show her different identities by placing a different stone at her door. If you don't look carefully, you can't tell the difference.

After receiving a report from a neighbor and a law enforcement officer coming to the door, the peasant woman made excuses, saying that she did this to make it easier for her family to find their home.

Who would believe such a pale reason? Why did your house get lost? How could it be so easy to find Lao Wang’s house next door?

The sage said: Don’t worry about the scarcity but the inequality. At this time, the sage’s dream of a great empire came true.

The citizens of the great empire live in happiness. They don't need to worry about the food and clothing necessary for life. They don't need to worry about what to do, what to eat, and what to think about today.

They don't even need to worry about whether they are happy or sad today, unless they are sick or dead.

They have become a cell of this powerful and happy country, making this empire an organic whole, and the orders from the brain will be executed throughout the country without any errors.

Therefore, the empire had strong productivity and military expansion capabilities.

The territory of the great empire reached an unprecedented 2 million square kilometers, and the population exceeded 10 million. No bronze civilization could match such an achievement before.

Until 1532 AD.

Emperor Atahualpa ruled the great empire.

The rich gold in the great empire attracted the attention of Spanish colonists.

Pizarro obtained permission from the King of Spain and led 169 conquistadors to prepare to attack the great empire.

On November 16, Pizarro told the imperial messenger:

"Please tell the monarch of your country that he is welcome to come. As for when and how he comes, you can do it according to his wishes. No matter how he comes, I will receive him as a friend and brother."

As soon as the messenger left, Pizarro said to his brother Juan:

"Get ready now and act as planned."

"Are we really going to fight? There are 80,000 of them." Juan was trembling as he spoke.

"Tell the brothers, there are only 40,000 people on the other side."

"There are only 169 of us."

"Stop talking nonsense and act now."

Pizarro was also trembling as he spoke.

Noon the next day.

Atahualpa, the emperor of the great empire, arrived as promised.

His team is vast.

The 2,000 people in front were cleaning the road with uniform movements and bright costumes.

Eighty people carried the golden palanquin, with Atahualpa sitting in it.

He wore a golden crown on his head and was richly dressed, studded with precious stones.

In front and behind the sedan, young men and women in different costumes sang and danced.

Behind them were 80,000 people, the elite troops of the empire. Their steps were sonorous and powerful, and waves of sand and dust were stirred up as they marched.

The emperor and his troops entered the square where the Spaniards were stationed, and the whole square seemed to tilt.

The soldiers ambushing outside the square were dumbfounded.

"Mr. Fernando, they don't look like 40,000 people. Do they really want to fight?"

Private Alonso asked his commander, his voice trembling.

Fernando: "Hit me, what are you afraid of? Such an adult still wets his pants."

Alonso: "I saw you peed, and I couldn't help it anymore."

Fernando: "Okay, stop talking nonsense and listen to the order."

In the center of the square, Pizarro's legs were shaking, but he pretended to be calm and stared at the emperor.

The *priest* sent by Pizarro gave the *Bible* to the emperor and asked him to convert to our Buddha.

Emperor Atahualpa took the book, put it to his left ear, listened, and then put it to his right ear.

"Why doesn't he speak?"

When the *priest* saw this, he opened the book and showed it to the emperor. Atahualpa felt greatly insulted.

Such a small and shabby book actually wants to kill our Sun God. You really think I am illiterate.

The emperor was furious, kicked the *father* away, and threw the book to the ground.

This gave the Spanish an excuse.

The priest shouted: "The tyrants have defiled the books, show them something."

Pizarro gave a signal, and the 160 soldiers who were ambushing on both sides rushed out.

The priest continued: "The Lord will forgive your sins!"

Upon seeing the signal, several cannons and dozens of cannons fired simultaneously. Although no enemy was hit, the soldiers of the great empire were frightened. They had never seen such a magical weapon.

The horses that had been ambushed on both sides of the square jumped out at the same time. The knights were wearing shining armor and holding sharp swords.

The soldiers of the great empire thought it was a god descending to earth, so they dropped their wooden sticks and stone tools and ran for their lives.

In the chaos, the emperor was captured, more than 7,000 people were killed, and others fled in all directions.

The Spanish conquistadors suffered no casualties.
