The Ba Academy founded by Mr. Sosaku Kobayashi was destroyed by a bombing during World War II and has only been around for eight years. At that time, this unknown and even despised primary school had less than fifty students. Later, two famous people came from the Ba Academy. They were the United Nations Children's Fund Goodwill Ambassador Toroko Kuroyana and the internationally renowned physicist Yasuji Yamauchi.
Why did Ba Academy, which was unknown at the beginning, achieve such great achievements? This is due to Mr. Kobayashi Sosaki's teaching philosophy, namely free education. Its purpose is to respect the personality of every student and not tie the children to the teacher's plan. They do whatever they want and do not let the children lose their imagination. In Ba Academy, children's dreams are much larger than those of the teacher's plan. In every classroom in Ba Academy, children can see the children's learning scenery that enjoys their own happiness: they like to write essays, they like to draw, and they like to do
The experiments are conducted, the independent thinking is like independent thinking, the discussion is like discussion, etc. I can’t see children sleeping in class, the children’s frowning in class, and the children’s doing nothing in class. Every child can find what they like to do. No children are frightened by difficult exercises, no children are overwhelmed by endless questions, no off-campus tutoring classes squeeze out children’s interests and hobbies. In Ba Academy, there is no place to help grow, force people to make things difficult, and kill personality.
The result of free education is to carry forward children's own nature, which has greatly trained children's creativity and imagination, and paved a path to success for children.
