25, money and silk moving

Food is the most important thing for the people in the world. Jia Yi, in the early Han Dynasty, wrote to Emperor Wen, when he wrote a letter to Emperor Wen: "Storage is the great destiny of the world", "If there is too much grain and there is more wealth, what will happen but not be accomplished." He also said: "If the accumulation is enough, people will enjoy their place, and they can be rich and safe in the world." During the reign of Emperor Jing, Huang Chou, who was the chief censor at the time, also said in his "Book of Reputation on the Reward of Crop": "Millet is the king's great use and the basic task of politics." He also tried his best to advocate for Emperor Jing to emphasize agricultural affairs and save money, and put forward the suggestion of "small taxes, broaden their savings, and make a real warehouse and small". The strength of the former Han Dynasty can be said to be from this.

In this dynasty, although the emperor's national treasury was often insufficient, the local tyrants and wealthy people, Tian Lianmo, and their fort manors were "broadly hutted houses, tall buildings and pavilions, poured into waves, bamboo and wood, grazing in six animals, fish, pear fruit, sandalwood, mulberry, hemp, and hemp, closed-door markets." Various grain cellars, grain gardens, warehouse buildings, etc., were also built, and the food stored was never short.

One of the important reasons for Yan Xing ventured to capture this fort was to save the grain in the fort. But the stored grain in front of him was really not satisfied with him. He frowned and walked to a hill, pulled out the ring-headed knife and inserted it into the bulging sack. The ring-headed knife was twisted and pulled out, and the yellow wheat grains flowed out of the sack. He reached out to take a handful of wheat grains, looked at the quality of the wheat grains, put it on his nose and smelled it, and then stuffed the wheat grains into the sack again.

This granary should be a planting warehouse. The seeds must be stored separately and cannot be mixed with other grains. Those empty places are marked with the words "millet", "wheat seeds" and "millet seeds". It is now spring plowing, and Yan Xing guessed that the crops may be distributed to tenant farmers and farmers to cultivate.

Moreover, the seeds of various crops are carefully selected, and all kinds of seeds need to be stored separately from each other. Otherwise, there will be "mixed problems", and the storage conditions of the seed warehouse are higher than those of ordinary granaries. Yan Xing inspected the inside and outside of the granary and also specifically observed and identified the color of the wheat grains in order to confirm that this granary is the seed warehouse of the fort.

Yan Xing turned around and patted the shoulder of the big bull who was still looking around, and said:

"Millet is stored for nine years, rice is stored for five years, the land is stored for five years, and the rice is stored for three years. The storage methods of grain and rice are different. They all need to be stored separately. This place is just a small planting warehouse. There is nothing good to look at, let's go!"

The big giant recovered, nodded quickly, and followed Yan Xing out of the granary with Hutou. But when he turned around, he couldn't help but look back a few times, a little unbelievable.

"In this battle alone, are all this what I'm waiting for?"

Yan Xing didn't know that Da Niu was still lamenting the food stored in the granary. He came from later generations and was born in a powerful family. He was knowledgeable and had not taken this food to heart. After seeing the granary, Yan Xing was about to rush over to inspect the warehouse of the fort.

The warehouse was also in the backyard. Yan Xing rushed to the warehouse with a bit of dazed big bull and tiger head. It happened that Gan Ling was rotated out of the wall by others and also patrolled here. Yan Xing greeted him and took him into the warehouse of the fort.

Because my subordinates had searched before, the warehouse was a bit messy, and the swords and armor on the weapons racks had been distributed. In the warehouse were baskets of copper coins and boxes of silk and satin. They looked dense and arranged in a flat manner. In addition, twenty or thirty golden cakes and silverware placed on lacquer plates, they looked at it and were indeed dazzling with golden light.

Yan Xing smiled and said that these wealthy goods were as if a powerful family should be. He walked over and looked at a basket full of money. He reached out and picked up a string of Wuzhu coins. The money was lifted in the air. Because the rope was rotten for a long time, the thin hemp rope that was wearing copper coins was overwhelmed and broke directly. In an instant, the sound of Ding Dang continued. These Wuzhu copper coins seemed to have life in an instant, and escaped from Yan Xing. After falling to the ground, they continued to roll and jump, leaving only a piece of rotten hemp rope for Yan Xing.

"There are thousands of hectares of good fields, one liter of eclipse on a day; the vast building is thousands of, and the sleep is seven feet at night!"

Yan Xing shook his head with a wry smile, squatted down and picked up some Wuzhu copper coins in front of him, looked at Gan Ling, and continued:

"I don't know if these Wuzhu coins were obtained by the owners of this fortress for several generations. Maybe they were good at managing the family, maybe they were robbed by tricks. Unfortunately, all this had nothing to do with them in the end. They would be a waste of money like you and me!"

Gan Ling nodded and said with deep emotion:

"The weak meat is the strong food. The coalition forces are to the Han army, to the Dong army, and to the masters here are all the reasons!"

Yan Xing's face also returned to his solemnity. Of course he could understand Gan Ling's meaning. He lowered his head and picked up a few Wuzhu copper coins and kept them at hand to examine them carefully.

Although he had Wuzhu copper coins on his hands and they looked roughly the same, the quality and patterns were different. One of them was relatively regular in shape, with a straight copper color, slightly red in color, with horizontal strokes on the back, and a star pattern. The surface of the money was "Wuzhu" from right to left. The "Wu" character intersected and curved, the "Jin" character on the radical of the "Zhu" character has a larger head, four points longer, the "Zhu" character has a round head, the middle is straight, the two ends are thinner, and the money curtain is a light back.

Another copper Wuzhu coin is made of rougher, the body is light and large, the diameter of the coin increases, but the weight is reduced, the copper color is turbid, and the surface of the coin has flat and shallow horizontal scratches.

There is also a Wuzhu coin that looks brand new, with a slightly yellow copper color, and a shallow stroke of the coin. The surface of the coin actually has heavy text. It is also the lightest weight. In addition to star patterns and horizontal strokes, several short-line patterns are also mixed with.

These copper coins are new and old. Yan Xing kept them thoughtfully in his hands and played with them. His eyes were deep and sharp, as if he was witnessing the Han Empire's decline from prosperity to decline, from strong to weak, order and chaos, the weak and the strong as if it was changing in his hands.

After playing for a while, Yan Xing suddenly stood up and threw the copper coins back into the basket full of coins. He clapped his hands, as if he was a little bored, and said solemnly:

"Save wine and wine are red, and money is moving! Send a few steady old men from the army to come and see them, don't let others enter this warehouse again!"

"promise!"

Gan Ling quickly bowed his promise.

Yan Xing nodded without looking back. He raised his legs and walked outside, saying to Ganling, Daniu and Tigerhead:
