Chapter 2788

Merchant Division

In 1940, the Japanese base camp drove tens of thousands of Korean workers into Nagano Prefecture and secretly dug huge fortifications underground.

This project lasted more than two years.

After the project was completed, none of these North Korean workers survived!

In 1942, the Japanese headquarters ordered that all the wealth looted in Southeast Asia be transported back to Japan and stored in underground fortifications in Nagano Prefecture.

A large part of this wealth was looted by the Japanese Fourth Division.

This fourth division, known as the "Trader Division", may not be good at fighting, but searching for wealth and digging holes to hide treasures are their specialty.

As a result, the 4th Division's "illustrious military exploits" in Southeast Asia also spread. Soon it was transferred directly to the Japanese base camp and continued to stay in Southeast Asia.

The Osaka Division, which had always been looked down upon by its peers, has since been somewhat criticized:

"When I was a soldier, I was in the Class A Division. We belonged to the elite Kwantung Army at the beginning of the war. Later, other armies could not accommodate us, so we had to be directly under the jurisdiction of the base camp."

In June 1942, as a large number of U.S. warships entered Southeast Asian waters to fight, the Japanese army's operation to smuggle Southeast Asian treasures had to be suspended.

However, the Japanese army that invaded Southeast Asia did not stop plundering wealth.

From 1942 to 1943, in a short period of time, the Japanese army looted countless gold, silver and other treasures from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and other places.

Among them, the Fourth Division deserves a large part of the "contribution".

However, because the US military blocked all shipping lanes to Japan, this gold treasure worth hundreds of billions of dollars has been unable to be shipped out.

In fact, as early as 1936, Hirohito personally ordered the establishment of a secret organization specifically responsible for plundering the wealth of Asia.

This secret organization is the "Yamayuri Society", and the person in charge is Prince Tsuneoku, the second generation of the Takeda Palace, a member of the Japanese royal family.

Although this Japanese prince has a very low position, his power and status are very high!

Before Japan launched a war of aggression in Southeast Asia, he was appointed as a staff officer at the Japanese base camp. His main task was to lead the "Yama Lily Society" to plunder the wealth of Asia.

The underground fortification complex in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, is one of the masterpieces of the "Yama Lily Society".

But what the Japanese don't know is that while they are desperately searching for the wealth in Southeast Asia, a Chinese is also eyeing this wealth:

Meng Shaoyuan!

Japanese Fourth Division, 37th Osaka Infantry Regiment.

"Banin, Banin!"

As soon as he saw the person coming in, the captain of the 37th Infantry Regiment, Yuharu Wanbo, greeted him warmly like an old friend:

"Today, you brought me something good again!"

"Of course, I'm never empty-handed."

"Ban Ning" said with a smile.

He is "Ba Ning", but he is a secret agent of the Military Command Bureau:

Gan Ning!

He and Yuharu Bankami are old friends, real old friends.

"Look, this."

Gan Ning took out a cloth bag and opened it carefully: "The bronze mirror has an obvious Chinese Han Dynasty style and was obviously influenced by the culture of the Han Dynasty at that time."

Although it was already rusty, Wanbo Yuqing's eyes were shining, and she carefully picked it up, looked at it again and again, and couldn't put it down.

After a long time, he was satisfied and said, "Let's talk about the price."

Yuharu Banha may not be a qualified military commander, but he is definitely an excellent businessman.

Unlike other Japanese officers, he would never resort to extortion when doing business with old friends, because that would only frighten people and cut off future business.

He bargained patiently with the other party and got what he liked at a reasonable price.

Gan Ning drew a number.

Wan Bo Youqing suddenly looked embarrassed: "It's too expensive, Baning, my friend, you know, I'm just a salaried officer, I can't afford such a large sum of money."

"That won't work."

Even though he was facing the Japanese colonel, Gan Ning was not afraid at all: "I already suffered a big loss with the spear head last time. I can't make any concessions this time. I can't get a penny cheaper."

Look at the workmanship and the rust on it, does it look like a peerless beauty smiling and waving to you?"

Wanbo Yuharu nodded repeatedly.

He loved this cultural relic so much, but he really couldn't afford the money for a while.

"There is a way, Your Majesty Colonel." As if he saw Wanbo Youqing's difficulty, Gan Ning lowered his voice and said, "Do you know where this thing came from?"

Wanbo Yuharu shook her head.

Gan Ning smiled: "The Nusik guerrillas discovered it."

"Ah, they are so lucky." This was all Yuharu Wanba said when hearing her enemy.

Gan Ning immediately said: "They need a batch of supplies urgently."

He took out a list and handed it to Yuharu Banbo: "It's all here."

"This is unreasonable. I am an officer of the Japanese Empire. My mission is to completely eradicate these rebels!"

After looking at the list, Wanbo Yuharu seemed to have been greatly insulted, her face turned red, and then she changed the subject: "Do you want to exchange so many supplies with just a copper mirror? This is against me.

of contempt, I will destroy them, destroy them now!”

"Why are you in such a hurry, Your Excellency Colonel?" Gan Ning said calmly: "This bronze mirror is just a deposit."

"That's it." Wanbo Yuqing was immediately relieved: "So I also find it strange that the price they gave for the medicine they asked for last time was much more generous."

Not just Yuharu Banha, there is nothing that cannot be sold in the Fourth Division.

Even if the object of the transaction is the enemy opposite you!

"Old rules, I'll handle this."

Gan Ning wrote the price on each item in the list: "After the transaction is completed, I will get a 20% commission."

Yuharu Wanba picked up the phone: "Have Noguchi Yasushi run and report immediately."

Hang up the phone: "This is mine?"

"This is yours."

After a while, Quartermaster Yasushi Noguchi walked in.

Wanbo Yuharu pointed at the list: "Get ready immediately, you will personally escort them."

"Hai."

Gan Ning was very satisfied. Every time he did business with Wanbo Youqing, it was always so pleasant:

"Your Majesty Colonel, there is another big deal. I wonder if you are interested?"

"How big?"

"If you succeed, you and your children will not have to worry about it for the rest of your life."

Wanbo Yuqing immediately asked impatiently: "Tell me, my old friend, what kind of business can interest me?"

"Big deal." Gan Ning emphasized these words: "However, we can't do it with just the two of us. Moreover, there are great dangers. Maybe even if you are exposed, you won't be able to keep your official position."

The greater the risk, the greater the reward, and Wanbo Youqing certainly understands this:

"No problem, I know many people who are more powerful than me. If your business is attractive enough, I can call them on!"

"Of course, this business has something to do with you!"
