Chapter Eleven: Believe in the Poor Monk
After the Silver Horn King left, Chen Mang let go of the golden horn, snatched the gourd and poured Sun Wukong out of it.
Wukong glanced at the corpses of wild beasts on the ground, smiled with a roar, waved his monkey claws and said, "Master, my old grandson is enjoying the cool air in the gourd, why did you release my old grandson so quickly!"
Chen Mang glanced at Wukong who was cheating and frightened, "You are a monkey who has no knowledge. This purple gold gourd is a magic weapon refined by Laojun. He will be taken into it and cannot escape. Just paste another Taishang Laojun as the law, and let your copper and iron bones turn into pus for a while."
Wukong leaned back in surprise, blinked his golden eyes twice, grabbed the purple gold gourd and watched carefully: "Oh, it turned out to be the treasure of Laojun! Now this gourd has become a masterless thing, and it happened to be obtained by us, and it will be ours from now on!"
Chen Mang looked at him happily and joked: "Not only this one, the gourd is made by Laojun's elixir, the clean bottle is made by him, the sword is made by him, the fan is made by him, and the rope is made by him. Even if you don't cheat and take out your real skills to deal with it, I'm afraid it will be hard to defeat these five magic weapons, and now it's all yours."
Wukong's eyes were so bright that it was about to emit light. Then he realized something was wrong and glared at King Jinjiao and said, "Ye, you were sent by the old official Taishang Laojun!"
King Jinke took off his demon body, turned into a beautiful Taoist boy, and explained: "The great sage, this is all the idea of Guanyin Bodhisattva. I was originally the boy who was watching the golden furnace. The one who went to heaven just now was the boy who was watching the silver furnace. The Bodhisattva asked my master to borrow people three times, and then the master sent my brothers to the earth to transform into demons here, and test your master and disciple to go to the West to obtain scriptures."
Wukong grinned and said, "This Bodhisattva is good. While asking us to go to the sutras, he sent someone to tease us. I will go to the West and ask the Buddha for justice!"
Chen Mang couldn't help but laugh: "If you are not afraid of the Bodhisattva wearing a tight ring for you, your teacher will immediately hold a banquet for you."
When Wukong heard this, he suddenly felt relieved. His eyes rolled, and he swept back and forth on several magic weapons.
After a while, Yinjiao returned with a golden elixir in his hand. Seeing that his brother was in peace, he breathed a sigh of relief and came to Chen Mang and said, "Saint Monk, I have asked for the golden elixir you want."
Chen Mang was happy and took the golden elixir into his hand and observed it with his soul.
After carefully looking at the soul for a while, Chen Mang found that the spiritual power contained in the golden elixir was very weak and had only the effect of consolidating the foundation. He couldn't help but feel disappointed and sighed: "This old official is really stingy and uses fakes to fool people."
Yinjiao looked at Chen Mang with muscles in front of him, his eyelids jumped hard, and he hurriedly said, "Saint Monk, this golden elixir was handed to me by my master, and there is no adulteration at all!"
Wukong also smiled from the side and said, "Master has misunderstood this time. This child has not lie. This is indeed the Nine-Turn Golden Elixir practiced by the old official. When my old grandson made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace, he ate several gourds!"
Chen Mang glanced at the innocent monkey, put the golden elixir in his bag, put on his robes and walked forward: "It's on the way!"
The master and disciples set off again. A few days later, they passed by a country called Wuji Kingdom and fished out the king's body from a well in a temple.
Seeing that the king had no rotten corpses and ghosts, Chen Mang also understood the intention of Laojun giving him this golden elixir, and gave the golden elixir to the king of Wuji Kingdom, so that his soul would return to his spirit.
The king was originally dedicated to the Buddha. When the Buddha learned about it, he sent Manjushri Bodhisattva to save him to the West to be an arhat. Unexpectedly, the king was angry and embarrassed by Manjushri Bodhisattva's criticism. He tied up the monk he turned into with a rope and soaked in the river for three days and three nights.
Manjushri was treated like this by him, so he sent a green-haired lion under his seat to descend to earth and threw the king into the well water for three years.
Now that the three-year period has expired, the green-haired lion has heard of the great reputation of Chen Mang and others. It feels like the Black Chicken Kingdom is not waiting. After everyone explained the reason, the corner of his mouth tilted and he set up auspicious clouds to return to the Manjushri Bodhisattva Temple.
Chen Mang saved the king and was worshipped as a guest of honor for several days. After resting, he took his disciples back on the road.
On this day, Chen Mang and others came to a dense forest, and suddenly a fire cloud flew over their heads.
Chen Mang noticed the abnormality and couldn't help but stop the horse. He looked up and couldn't help but let out a light eh: "Hey, it's a bit like Samadhi True Fire!"
While he was talking, a tender cry for help sounded deep in the forest: "Help...Help..."
Chen Mang immediately raised his eyebrows and waved his hand, "Advisors, escort the teacher to save people!"
Wukong looked at the corner of Chen Mang's curled mouth and couldn't help but laugh: "Hey, Master, you are finally tired of eating monsters and want to slap the living!"
Chen Mang glared at him and scolded, "You are so monkey-spunk, why don't you hold the horse quickly, don't let him run away!"
Wukong laughed and jumped forward, and soon he came to the place where the sound came.
When he came closer, Chen Mang raised his eyes and saw a seven-year-old child wearing a bellyband tied up with a hemp rope and hung high above the treetops.
When the child saw Chen Mang, his eyes lit up slightly and he hurriedly shouted: "Elder, save people! Save me quickly!"
Chen Mang swept the child's body and saw that there was a true fire of Samadhi in his dantian. When he confirmed that he was Red Boy, he couldn't help but smile: "Child, don't move around, I'll save you now." As he said that, he took out the ring knife and threw it, brought a golden light, and flew towards Red Boy in a rotating manner!
Detecting the dangerous aura on the knife, Red Boy's face changed suddenly. She shook her body hard, and the knife swung over his cheek, inserted it onto the tree trunk and buzzed. After a while, she stopped trembling.
Seeing that the knife was lost, Chen Mang said unhappily: "Child, don't move around, you must believe in my accurate head!" As he said that, he took out a cloth bag and opened it, and eight neat ring knives appeared in front of everyone.
Come again?!
Red Boy's heart skipped a beat and hurriedly shouted: "Elder, this rope can be untied behind the tree!"
Chen Mang took back the ring knife with regret and said to Wukong: "Wukong, go and untie the rope for him and take back the sword of his master."
"I understand, Master!"
Wukong looked at Red Boy's horrified expression and was so happy that he grabbed his big furry hand. He climbed onto the tree in a few seconds to remove the ring knife. Then he turned his eyes and cut off the rope on his body with one knife.
Red Boy glared at his eyes and smashed to the ground with a roar. Then he raised his head and looked at the monkey in front of him fiercely, wishing he could pull out all his hair all over his body!
Wukong laughed and said, "You kid, my son, I kindly let you go, why are you glaring at me?"
Red Boy looked at Chen Mang with a pitiful look on his face: "Elder, I was captured by a monster, and fell from a high place and injured my leg. I hope the elder will be kind and carry me home."
Chen Mang said with a gentle smile: "Who are your last name and where are your home?"
Hongboer said: "My nickname is Hongboer. There is a dry pine stream on the west side of the mountain, and there is a village on the other side of the stream. I am a family there."
"Oh, then let's go along and we'll go to your house to make a living."
Chen Mang smiled slightly, got off the white dragon horse, picked up the red boy and placed it on the saddle, and led the horse to the west.
